Kal Online .pk file help

Alright, I am able to open the .pk file and edit the dat files inside, but when I try to replace and/or update them, the file file inside the config.pk looses it's * sign next to it and the game wont run. Any suggestions for this nooby ?

Anyway you need to give it the .pk password as the password you open it with...

And you must encrypt it back after dcrypt it...
