Are you allowed to request here? Tremulous hack

I'm new here, as you will see. I don't know all the places to request a hack, so I thought here is where it should go. If not, just delete it.

I was wondering, would a god mode hack be possible for Tremulous? I know there are some for Quake 3, so it must be possible. So let me ask something else:

Are there any Tremulous god mode or 999 health hacks?

If anyone could point me to one, or even make one (I have NO idea how hard it would be, but I'm guessing it would be hard), that would be great!

You said "So let me ask something else:" When your basically asking for the same thing. Now on tremulous, since most of the stuff except for hud related things are serversided. From my knowledge it would be impossible to have 999 health. But i might be wrong.

Things like health and position are controlled server side. You have no chance of 'god mode' persay.

However, certain rules of physics are disregarded by the server when the person playing has an extremely high ping. Anyone who's used a wallhack and glowshams has probably encountered a 'floater' who has 999'd and noticed that you can shoot him and make him into a malleable ball of texture, until he returns. Others, like myself have noticed that someone who was moving forward when they 999'd, would keep on moving and go straight through walls.

I'll leave that thought to you.

Another thing....it seems there was a glitch ages ago, in which a modified client could 'skip' sending certain bits of information to the server when they were killed by <world> (turrets, electric force fields, lava, etc.) and until a restart of the game happened, the server rendered them with a EF_DEAD flag, causing everyone else to see a dead body of for instance, a tyrant mauling them to death. xD Since shooting corpses in the game doesn't hurt them, it WAS god mode.

There isn't a clientside godmode, however with the new THZ 3.0 im working on, the new aimbot additions make the mara nearly unstoppable in s1 and s2. So its 'kind of' like god mode :)

Just stay tuned to that thread and a new version will be up in a few days. There are also a ton of UI enhancements that make wiping a base and making sure you got everything a fair bit easier.
