bout covert ops

can do i spot a undercover enemy ? cos when i steal an enemies clothes they spot me straight away

SolidSnake: Yes you can spot them. The easiest way to tell a covert ops is wait to see if your crosshair pops up with the persons nickname, if it doesn't then that person in an enemy and not on your team. I believe level 4 covert ops you can directly see who is an enemy and who isn't without having to mouse over them.

That's all ET. If you're a lvl 4 Covert Ops, and take the clothes from a player you also take his name.. so when the nme looks at you.. you appear friendly. Unless you're an nme Covert Op @ lvl 4 - then you have no name on you to him.

Also, anytime you attack an nme where another or that nme looks directly at you while you're doing it.. your cover is blown.

so if im a allie lvl 4 covert ops i can take a enemies clothss and take this name so the enemy will see me as a freindly if they point their crosshair over me?

Yup. And if the other guy isn't another lvl 4 Covert Op.. then he will see you as himself. :)

so whats the best way to build up my stats? i find it annoying on sum servers, i get a good levles then when it changes maps i lose it all

To build up just covert ops, tend to your objectives. Find the nme command post that keeps getting rebuilt and blow it up over and over again. Use your satchel above other weapons.. try to find clusters of the nme to take out at once. Just be covert.. Stab ppl in the back.. etc. ;)
