This hack will not get you banned from TF2!

To install put the materials folder in your tf folder.
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<name>\team fortress 2\tf
Once your ingame type "sv_cheats 1" then "mat_reloadallmaterials" in console
If anyone has any other suggestions let me know. I got everything I could think of.

stickybun, that can not be done with a simple model hack such as this. You cant have it change model files for when someone is behind the wall. What your looking for is a chams hack, which has not been released for this game yet.

I haven't looked into material hacking much for TF2 (been playing legit), but I assume it's the same as CSS, it has only one material for the terrorist model, and one material for the counter-terrorist model (in TF2 case, one material for each character, I assume), so unfortunately, no that wouldn't be possible...

You can just have the models wallhacked for a few of them. Check out the files, theres like pyro_red and pyro_red_head.
(Except the Pyro is all one model.. all the others it's possible I think)

Its possible. The idea I had before to make chams is use a modeling program and do 2 brushes over each other so you could use 2 .vmts. I never got enough into modeling with hl2 so I never tried it. A full time job blows.
Making the heads non wall hacked I can do besides the pyro like Belink said. The only reason I didn't was for sniping since it helps with head shots for me. Ill release a update in next day or 2 with it. I wanna wait to see if anyone finds anything else to do or anything wrong so I don't do so many releases for a bunch of small updates. Material hacks are way more effective in TF2 just because theres other uses besides wall hacking the walls and player models.
I also like material hacks because I hate buying a game multiple times and its more effective agains't vac(sadly rofl) since it stinks. I got into mat hacks in mohaa. Mohaa had a better modding ability setup so you could do anything including chams. It was the first game with chams.

Chams will give players a different color or other kind of appearance, depending on whether they're behind or in front of a wall.

Found something that could be improved: sniper hack lacks widescreen love :(

thx, this is a nice mathack.
but why would someone want to remove the flamethrower fire? you can't see how far your flaming then. and i like to use this with just the heads wallhacked so i just delete the wh'd bodies

Yeah I'd also like to know how to keep the original flamethrower flame, as with this hack playing a pyro, you can't see spies that you hit and are on fire.

i guess so people cant use it a a smoke screen, and it makes it easier to tell whos on fire? thats usally a problem for people, the pyros go nuts and no one can tell whos the enmy, and whos not dead

Thats exactly why I did it. When a pyro rushes into a small room with your team its impossible to see him because of all the fire. The fire isn't completely gone. You can see where your flames reach to.

be sure to unhack all the heads or sometimes enemies will go invisible O.O plus it makes it easier to tell who is, and isn't behind a wall
simply remove the line
$ignorez "1" from all the head .vmt's (not the rest of the model tho :p ie. body)

I guess the pyro keeps the hacked head for this... can seem to find head vmts for it

Any way to make the rockets and the rocket trails appear too?
Also btw the surface of the water is black, can you change that to transparent so I can see who is in the water, or who is by the water?

Yeah the same is happening to me.
EDIT: After some testing I've found out that it only happens on some servers, whereas the models wouldn't load at all on other servers, and they look fine on some others.
I guess it's got something to do with the sv_pure cvar, as more and more admins are becoming aware of its existence.

I've had this problem for some time now ( the problem with checkered purple and black models), to fix it all i did was delete the player directory then use GFC Scape to get the shared content back i then copied the normal models into my material folder and used the vmt files (the ones that arn't vtf and can be opened in notepad) that Belink made in the models mat hack and copied those files into each class directory i.e - demoman, scout, sniper etc, and overwrote the default script files while keeping the original vtfs, unfortuantly this means no more coloured models, but if you want coloured models just open up each vtf in photoshop and just use colour replacement tool (to keep detail) or the paint tool to just make basic red / blue etc. Hope this makes sence , it worked for me and i hope it works for you.
If requested i'll upload my player folder, saves people doing the work. (Pc is unavailable atm using college comps)

So download your tf2 coloured player models, go to OUR materials folder and delete the textures we got from this materialhack, and then install your player models into our materials folder?
And this will make our models look prettier and still make them wallhacked?

backup your old "tf" folder ... which is around 2 to 3gb i think
extract the folder included in this download and click "yes to all" to overwrite all exisiting file
there u have it ... u can play legit again just by moving your 2gb backup back into materiel folder ... simple and only a few minute depending on your harddisk speed

I dont know if its my graphics or what but when i tried this it still gave me multi checkered models, my pc is up and operational again just trying to sort out internet, if i can get it by tonight i'll upload my player file, then you can look and see what i mean/use yourself.

I get this problem on some servers as well
However, when I do get pink & black textures; The pyro is not affected.
Is this true for anyone else? if so, would copying the pyro's files work for the other classes?

Edited the files, and it is now working for me on servers that previously gave me the Black/Pink textures.
Didnt take much effort to fix, just some changes to the text files.

i dont know about you guys, or anyone on the internet, but NOTHING IS WORKING... i have all these materials of weapons, and crosshairs, and models, and seeing effects thru walls... none of it works at all, let alone weird player models...
iduno wut happened but nothing is workn and no one is talkn about it either
is there a way around this, or does someone have to outhink them again and make new effects altogether

This is very strange...everything I downloaded from here still seems to work for me. Reddot, mat.hack2, and even my custom v_skins still have yet to become the pink and black textures you people have been mentioning.
Anyways, if only servers with sv_pure 1 block custom textures and models, why is baconfat redoing mathack2? Is mathack2 not working on sv_pure 0 servers? Because I have yet to face any problems with it.

As I said in a previous post, I think that people are only having the impression that these custom materials are not working, but probably it's more due to the fact that more server admins have become aware of sv_pure 1 (pink and black) and sv_pure 2 (nothing at all) commands.

hmm thats strange the server i usually go on only has changed the sv_pure 1 since the update. but acts like sv_pure 2 which is why I assumed it didnt work at all with any sv_pure.

I'd upload my player folder but for some reason i can't upload jack to mpc, it just laggs for ages and then said Server problem or something.. Not sure if it's the time of night when the forums are more busy or what... Will try afew more times if no success, then i'll try again in the morning.

from what i found out is the the director of the material file is not being accepted, i copyed mine to a new directory and edited the files to change to the new diector and it worked good, my crosshairs work on and off, but the models have been working for me eveer since i edited them, ill see if the same workd for buildables.

There is a method to exploit sv_pure 1, but if the server has sv_pure 2 on, you can not use it at all.
I made this in like 2 hours, so forgive me if some things don't work.
on sv_pure 0 servers, you can see buildiables, flag, players, and stickybombs/pipebombs.
On sv_pure 1 servers, you can see players, and I belive the flag. That's it.
On sv_pure 2, you're boned.

I'm working on a sv_pure 0 cleint enforcer.
I got the offsets and address, I just need to add some anti-vac stuff to it, and I can upload it.
How come nobody bothers wallhacking rockets? Is it possible?
Make a folder called w_rocketlauncher in materials/models/weapons

Edit it with notepad, and put this in it.

The way ignorez works, is if there's something infront of it, it will draw the material over it.
If there's nothing in front of it, it will just show thru. (Transparent)

SO IF I did this with my shotgun, i shud be able to see all shotguns thru materials even if they are obstructing it. and if it isnt bein blocked, its transperent?
cuz tahts not workin for me, the transparent part is tho, in my hand when i hold it

The weapon materials folder isn't covered in sv_pure 1 servers.
So the hack will only work on sv_pure 0 servers.

Well, the most popular servers are the -Q- clan servers, they use sv_pure 0. They claim it's because sv_pure 1+2 give people problems, when it's more likely that they want people like us filling their servers.

I have only but some of the files from the hack so that only heads, bullets and engineer stuff shows up as team color. I attached a picture of what it looks like it works fine on the other servers I play on.

They set sv_pure to 1. Also, they have a different blacklist of materials, and evidently they don't enforce player models, but they enforce textures. There is virtually nothing you can do to change it back unless you convince the admins to change pure back to 0. My advice is change to another server.

seems like cross hair hack doesnt work anymore. at start up in debug, says all the crosshair files dont point to original cvar, or something like that.

i bet you can bypass sv_pure. infact it has been done in CSS.
I was wondering, what is the blacklist file called in tf2? (in css it is whitelist.txt)
i need this information, because you say there is a other blacklist?
and i got a report from a user that my pure bypass on tf2 does not work. So this is why i need to know this information.

I'm curious, is there a way to inject these into the materials GCF so they are loaded even if sv_pure 1 or 2 is set? If there was, does VAC check file integrity?

good question.... even if they could scan it, u would think it would take awhile for them to scan ur files to see if they r the originals... so maybe its possible....
but i find it highly unlikely for some reason.. or else pple would do those things a lot in the past -_-
