There is metric s**t-ton of info out on this board and others about PB/VAC, etc... This is just a poll to see if there is any interest in having an anticheat wiki.

It would store information about how these anticheats work for a programmer and and for the user is affected.

For example:
* Filenames/Drivers associated with each technology.
* Pseudo-code for what it does behind the scenes (see
* Obfuscation analysis (how does it hide itself)
* ... etc ...

If something like this already exists (awsome!) just mention that.

Well, I don't know about PunkBuster (these days) but for VAC there would be:

Now since this mostly is a cheat user/support forum, the two threads above are rather directed to cheat users only.


You really seem to be wanting to write such an "anticheat-wiki", so I think that you should just go ahead and make it, no matter how many users are actually interested afterwards, but those who are will appreciate it.

I just don't know what exactly and what anti-cheats you want to focus on, and how much (anti-)anti-cheat information you want to disclose, so let me just vote for Yes.

Just wanted to get a feel for the demand before looking into gathering all the info together. I'm not asking anyone to do it, just to see if people would want it.
