i believe the rank files for your lvl and gun options are all local. still need help figuring some cheats out. any coders that want to help me figure out some stuff please pm me. im pretty close to get some stuff working.

also, anyone good with hex editors would be welcome as well

This is what I learned.

I've managed to cheat the system and get to rank 52 (thus unlocking all guns and perks) using something as primitive as TSearch. Altho the procedure DID require a kill for each rank (set exp so that it's missing ONE point for the next rank, kill someone, repeat).

Still, better than doing it manually.

The same can be done for weapon challenges (weapon mods).

There's just one problem. The stats file seems to be mpstats. But I can't transfer this file to any other computer (a game on another computer says the file is corrupted).

If you plan on trying to cheat a little bit with it, make sure you're looking for values off-line, as they appear to be locked somehow when connected to a server.

EDIT: I think it's connected with the key you install the game with.

Here's what I did.

First off, this will work only when you're not connected to any server!

Search for the exact number of exp you have (4 bytes). If you get a lot of results, join a game, score a kill or something, then disconnect and continue the search.

You should find it that way. Alternatively, try manually adding an entry (that little icon that looks like a 'new document' icon from Word) and use this address: CBF0E68 (I've tried it on another computer, and it was the same).
4 Bytes of course.

Just make sure you double check if the displayed value is correct.

If it is, set it so you're missing one exp point from the next rank (so if you have 1000 exp and need 500, set it to 1499). Then join a server and score a point. You'll rank up. Then disconnect, and repeat the process.

Do NOT try to skip ranks. If you are rank 1 and set it up for rank 52, you WILL get rank 52, but you WON'T get all the unlocks (only the one FOR rank 52).

Finally, you can use the same search method to find things like number of kills (or headshots) with a specific weapon. However you'll get lots and lots of results on the first search, and changing the value (for the next search) for things like headshots isn't always so easy (albeit it IS possible). If you have 2 computers at home and a LAN, you can use that as well (create a lan game, get both computers to join, and just kill the other, inactive player with the proper weapon / proper style).

It's located in CoD4\players\profiles\Yourprofile in mpdata file. I didn't managed to edit the file momentarily.

Here's what I did.

This worked for me, went from level 16 to 55 with this method. My XP address was also CBF0E68. Takes a while doing it 1 by 1 but I have everything unlocked.

There, instead of 32k you should be down to 1k. Do that again, and you'll be down to 3. Those 3 you can check manually (add them all, one by one increase them and check if it's changed in game).

Also, I found a way to transfer the mpdata file to others, but it requires a common key (for example, the key given with the Razor release of the game).

a) using the in game option change your key to that of the Razor release.
b) send your mpdata file to someone / get the mpdata from someone (preferably lvl 52+ with unlocks) and put it into your profile
c) back in game, change the key to what it was.

There, you (someone else; a friend for example) now have lvl 52 and still your own key.

Dont change the actual file! Use T-seach and change in memory. The file is encrypted, only cod can change it...

I already wrote: you CAN'T jump ranks from rank 1 all the way to lvl 52. If you do that, you WON'T GET ALL THE UNLOCKS!

You need to do it one rank at a time.


Here's my mpdata file for rank 52! Not all weapon mods are unlocked (yet), but all weapons are available!

To use it, change the key (in game) to that given in Razor release, then copy the file to your <CoD4>|players|profiles|<profileName> folder.
Start the game. You'll get the rank. Now just change the key back to whatever it was.

It SHOULDN'T, but that doesn't mean it doesn't.

I suspect if you're on Vista, it could be different then.

As for the kill codes: again, if you have 0 kills with a specific weapon, search for 0 (shitload of results), join a server, kill someone with that weapon, disconnect, continue search for 1 (still a shitload of results, but less); repeat that two more times searching for 2 and 3, and you should be down to 1-10 results.

i have winxp. I've tried to change all C codes i found on the kills number but didn't work too. And there's nobody online on cracked servers at this time, so it's a little bit hard to try the other codes :)

Why do you need a lvl 55? After lvl 52 all's unlocked.

I'm working on a profile what will be rank 2, but have all the guns and mods unlocked as well as 0 kills, 0 deaths and 0 points.

That way you have access to all the goodies, and can play that "level up" game if you feel like it.

Good job! Exacly how are you finding values for every gun? I think trainer is not that hard to make, considering free trainer maker tools - you just have to have the memory addresses.

ok i just figured out that most of the address that we are looking for are in the CBF part so it does already removes a lot of lines :P

I got the M4 address correct now i'm still looking to every others line now :P

Well to find every gun you do exactly the same thing than for looking for xp and every other things just look for the values like how many kills you got for every specific weapons but i still didn't figured out how to unlock it automatically.

well things getting pretty well now that i know exactly that most of the stats info are in the CFB address i can even quickly know wich line do what :P woot woot so by the end of the week i will have most of the gun challenge addresses

edit: now when I search for values that I set for M4 etc. (the address that liquidlab provided - btw they work, confirmed) I cant find any CBF address either... strange

PB can detect TSearch but they probably will not go as far to check if your account was leveled without cheating.

Remember, you can always level your account in non-PB ranked servers.

BlackDove, what are the odds that your "Easy Upgrade v1.0" will ever be PB detected? I see the status says "N/A"...what does that mean? Sorry for the noobish questions. Just dont want to destory a $50 game.

It says "N/A" because Easy Upgrade is not meant to be used in servers (there is no point since the hack is to be used at the menu). PB only scans for cheats while connected to a server (right now anyway).

If you temporarily disable PB by renaming the PB folder and using Easy Upgrade, then you should be safe. Rename the folder back to "pb" and you're good to go. Delete Easy Upgrade after that and there should be no way for PB to detect anything.

ive been searching the forums for about an hour now and i have a big question. is it possible for the addresses to be different than others?

it was posted that CBFOE84 was for headshots while when i tested it using the search function i came up with CC1A8A4

im new to the program but have read the help file now that i look i dont see any CBF addresses at all

Yes, addresses can be different if you are using an different version of the game. For example, v1.0 addresses are not the same as v1.1.

when i change key and start game again i get error and my rank is reseted to 1lvl
ok, i just figured out whats wrong, when i change my serial back i need to connect to server and play some, then it's safe to exit game. your rank will stay up.

I found the solution for getting the challenges. IBut I started a figuring method. Since the weapons was done. I took the last hex digit and kept adding one until numbers started to change from 0 to like 167773 etc. Then When I got a 1 or 5 or something. I noted it down like Radar InBound or w/e its called it was a 1 then i added 1 to the address til I got the next 1. Then I subtracted the two hex values and found out that it was 4 apart. So I guessed and added 4 to the current address and bingo it was the next one. So every channel option was 4 hex apart except for like boot camp to operations. Thats random its no consistent so I did the add 1 to the address til I get to the next sheet object and then added 4. But I could do the last two til I get my new rank that enables it. I haven't done the exp hack. And won't unless I become desperate so right now I'm 34 legit :P
