Need more FPS

Hello guys, please please please send me a full config (.cfg) because i cannot config cod4 very well or recomend me some standard configurations that should work well. I have a 7300gt and a 19"wide-lcd. (i cannot pass 40 fps :( )

40fps is ok for most FPS games, anything below is pushing it, as long as you get no lag should be fine.

I have a Gainward BLISS 7800 GS+ 512MB AGP Silent with 2.6Ghz P4 & 1GB Ram & i still manage to run all new games no problem.

Most multiplayer games i turn graphics down anyway to avoid stutter/lagg.

Set everything to off & low, turn AA off or just x2, use a lower resolution, set textures to Bilinear, turn off VSync. Theres few extras found in the config like decals & other fx that will help, just have a look pretty obvious what everything is.

Or you can disable fx using the console in game to see the differences using /cg_draw commands etc.

(in argentina it's toooooo expensive to buy better graphic cards, imagine that an standard job gives you monthly U$S 350 and i have to live too on my own)
