6/7/08: CoD 4 v1.6 requires a new playstats.txt file. v1.5 and below playerstats.txt files will not work.
I have included the v1.6 compatible version as playerstats.txt.
The v1.5 and below compatible version is oldplayerstats.txt.

Let's say you just got Global GUID Banned (CD key ban via PB) and you had a nice level 40 character with a bunch of good guns and challenges complete. Now that you are CD key banned, there is no way to use that level 40 character again (aka mpdata file) because it's based on the banned CD key.

With EasyTransfer, you generate a universal account (aka playerstats.txt) for that level 40 character. Now you can import that account using Easy Upgrade and play with the level 40 character on a new CD key.

Let's say that you want to share that level 40 character with a friend. Just send him the playerstats.txt file to use with Easy Upgrade - all done without exchanging a CD key!

Or let's say that you lost your level 55 account or just want to have access to all guns and perks. With Easy Upgrade, use the correct playerstats.txt file (level 55 included in release) and everything will be unlocked within seconds.
Upgrade your character without using illegal / pirated CD keys!

Before using this program, please back up your existing mpdata file from "Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\xxx\" folder

Easy Account (EA) allows for importing and saving CoD 4 accounts (saved unlocks, ranks, challenges, etc.)

Essentially, EA is two programs in one: Easy Upgrade and Easy Transfer.

Accounts are imported and saved in a file called playerstats.txt (generated by EA).

To import an account with EA:

1. A valid playerstats.txt need to be in same folder as EA (level 55 playerstats.txt included with EA).

2. Run CoD 4, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab out of it.

3. Run EA and select correct game version.

4. Click Easy Upgrade. You should get this message: "Upgrade completed successfully!"

5. Go back to CoD 4. Your stats should be different.

It is best to play several rounds in a non-PB server
to ensure that modified stats are "locked in."

Also, be sure you are using a playerstats.txt file that
is generated from the same game version.
Otherwise, not all stats may be unlocked.

To save an account with EA:

1. Run CoD 4, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab out of it.

2. Run EA and select correct game version.

3. If you already have a playerstats.txt in the same folder as EA, then you will need to delete, move or rename it.

4. Click Easy Transfer. You should get this message: "Easy Transfer completed successfully!"

5. A playerstats.txt file will now exist in the same folder as EA.

I can make a version for CoD 4 v1.1 and v1.2, but I will need the iw3mp.exe for each version (PM download link).

If anyone has a level 55 mpdata file with Bootcamp through Elite unlocked, please post it so I can use it for future releases.

I could also make a transfer program that will allow you to share your stats / unlocks with friends / transfer them to another computer without sharing your CD key if anyone is interested (playerstats.txt generator basically).

I am running MacAfee anti virus... and it detects the contents of the zip file as viruses (new win32) i know that it is not a virus as blackdove would never post viruses and it has been confirmed working by another member

It's only for v1.0? SUGGESTION:So if you haven't upgrade to v1.2 but only to V1.1 you could try to use the iw3mp.exe v1.0 and then do the hack, and then switch back to iw3mp.exe V1.1. Maybe that's the trick to level up your account in v1.1.

Oops, forgot to add the playerstats.txt file - readded in first post. If this is not working for you or your restarts are not upgrading to level 55 using the included playerstas.txt, please post what version you're using.

Steam versions aren't supported if that's what you're using.

The program was written on Vista 32-bit so it should work. If it does not load, it's your anti-virus.

The Steam version is simply v1.2. Be sure to select the correct game version before clicking Easy Upgrade / Easy Transfer.

You can find your game version by loading CoD 4: it will be at the lower right corner of your screen.

it might come up on anti vir warnings because its trying to modify a different file, and depending on your settings thats normal, i would just add it to trusted zone, then remove it after you have patched your file

I see nothing different? If someone was to generate a 100% complete playerstats.txt file with Easy Transfer and post it, then there would be no way to create a better account editor...unless simplifying the process more. Easy Account is an open-ended program.

All you need to do is use the level 55 playerstats.txt file to get a level 55 account, use a memory editor and edit your XP so that you're at level 1 (I don't think level 0's an option), and then generate a playerstats.txt file.

I thought about an Easy Editor too (playstats.txt editor), but this would be too time consuming to program, since I would have to tons link file offsets to unlocks and ensure no file corruption.

i wanted to try cod4 before buying and started to play on cracked servers with a generated serial. after a while i decided , that i'll buy that game, cause its awesome!

after a punkbuster permanent ban with the reason "...guid..." i searched with google answers to that problem and read that the guid is generated by a hash number of your serial.

so i tried to change my serial to avoid that pb bans, cause i will have to change serial too, if i buy this game soon.

now my mpdata will no longer work, because its based on the serial you played with. i was lvl55 and had nearly all challenges on 100%.

i've searched a long time for something that enables me to use my old mpdata on a new serial again and found your program.

your program is working until i close cod4. after closing, my rankings are reset to lvl1 and the status bars in challenge screens dont look normal. the border is ok, but the progress in the status bar isnt visible anymore. but my main problem is:

how to import my profile permanent instead for one session? do all ppl recognized this problem?

All you need to do is use the level 55 playerstats.txt file to get a level 55 account, use a memory editor and edit your XP so that you're at level 1 (I don't think level 0's an option), and then generate a playerstats.txt file.

I have tried this, but apparantly if you edit the memory with Tsearch and use the EA Transfer immediately, you will get a corrupted playerstats.txt. It seems that you need to go online, kill someone to get promoted, then use the EA Transfer again, you will get a valid playerstats.txt

By the way, I use Tsearch to reset all the challenges, but I can't those 3-tier challenges to reset. Like I try to reset Vandalism III to 0, it won't go back to Vandalism I. Any thoughts?

For the stat corruption problem, maybe it's because you're using a German version of the game. You can upload your iw3mp.exe file and I will take a look at it (send through PM please).

I used this program, but when I join a server it disconnects after a second. When I do /reconnect it says that I have a GUID ban. I have CoD4 cracked and I used multiple CD-keys but it keeps banning me again and again...

You were probably banned using another hack...if you bought the game brand new from the store, did not install / use any hacks but this one, then received a Global GUID Ban message after a while, then the hack would be detected.

OK, am I doing something wrong or am just plain stupid I really don't know, but:

- I have level 27 account using serial key (let's call it "SERIAL1") which was detected using nametag hack and was GUID banned
- I want to change serial (which is banned) to new serial (let's call it "SERIAL2") and continue using my level 27 account so this is what I tried to do:

1. Backup mplayer and config files from profile folder
2. Start COD4 (with SERIAL1)
3. Start EA
4. Choose ver 1.2 and "Easy Transfer" which makes playerstats.txt file in EA folder

Now, if I understood correct now I should exit COD4 and EA, go to regedit and change CD-Key (to SERIAL2), but when I start the game my stats are resetted.
So, again I start EA and do Easy Upgrade (with my previously made playerstats.txt) and it says upgrade successful but when I return to COD4 game my rank is still Level1 ???

What am i doing wrong???
However, if instead of my backup playerstats.txt i use playerstats.txt that came with EA i am level 55 ????
Is there some problem with transfer part of EA??? My COD4 game says it is v1.2.13620, is it ok to use 1.2 in EA or is this wrong????

What happens if you do the following?

This is just for testing purposes:

1. Run CoD 4 with SERIAL1 and with your level 27 mpdata file

2. Generate a playerstats.txt file for your level 27 account

3. Go and remove / rename your mpdata file so CoD 4 will not recognize and generate a new level 1 upon restarting the game

4. Use Easy Upgrade (still with SERIAL1) and see if your level 27 comes back.

Also, the process you followed should work. Have you tried the same steps using v1.0 of the game? Just back up the existing iw3mp.exe file and copy the v1.0 iw3mp.exe from the CoD 4 CD into the game's Call of Duty 4 folder.

5. Load the game and play in a PB server and see if you are kicked for Game Hack.

If you do those steps and you're kicked for Game Hack, then PB is figuring out that your account is fake by possibly analyzing your stats, mpdata file, date / time stamps, etc.

I would still like someone to follow those steps above and see if they are kicked.

If you have a modified version to bypass CD key checks or something, then PB will probably be kicking you anyway.

I did this, and i got kicked after about 15 minutes of playing on a PB secured server. On top of that i now get kicked for using my real non cheat profile too.

Well that didn't happen to me. Don't know what you did to resolve that.

I do however have a problem with EA. If I transfer the Playerstats to the playerstats.txt file and try to update it to a new key it will not work.
However I can use the encluded playerstats.txt. The update with that file works, but not with selfmade playerstats.txt.

I use Cod4 English and V 1.2. PB is not active during the update.

You cannot create a playerstats.txt with EA while PB is active. It seems that PB makes the file useless for further upgrades.

Did you delete EA from your system? Perhaps PB is checking the registry to see if it was executed recently or is tracking if it's installed on your system via the registry. I have not had a chance to check.

Yea, I opened it up, clicked ok on the failed to initialize pb, it went to menu and then I transfered it.

I tried making another profile to test if it works and it doesn't do anything.

To import an account with EA:

1. A valid playerstats.txt need to be in same folder as EA (level 55 playerstats.txt included with EA).

2. Run CoD 4, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab out of it.

3. Run EA and select correct game version.

4. Click Easy Upgrade. You should get this message: "Upgrade completed successfully!"

5. Go back to CoD 4. Your stats should be different.

will this work with the steam version if i turn it on in multiplayer mode and PB is off? will it be permanent and my steam won't be banned?

What a laugh a attempt at a cd key stealer, all users got cd key banned. Stick with your WallHacks and shit dude!

For the last time, this is not a CD key stealer. The file is not protected, and anyone with a little bit of software analysis skill can see that.

Even Balance decides the punishment for using hacks, they just so decided to give out CD key bans for this hack. CD key stealers and CD key bans have very little to do with one another.

Also, due to the nature of this hack, it's more widespread - people who don't use typical hacks have used EA to get to level 55.

Spending this much time in the community, on EC, here for over three years, and nC, you'd think that I'd be a little more reputable by now...insulting.

Are you sure that you're selecting the correct game version and ranking-up after setting your account to level 55? Be sure that you actually have a level 55 by importing the correct playerstats.txt file and locking your rank in by completing a challenge before trying to use the level 55 guns.

If you have downloaded the latest one from the first post in this thread, then all challenges are 100% finished.

The playerstats.txt file is correct. If EA is not operating normally, try playing a few rounds (connected to a server), quitting to the main menu, loading EA, and then upgrading your account. Of course, make sure PB is disabled and you're connecting to a non-PB server.

I made some adjustments to the classes, then quit CoD.

Renamed the pb folder back to "pb"

First off, im not cheating with this app, i need to regain the rank that i lost thru some corruption error (lvl 21, yeah i know doesnt seem that much but i dont get to play often so it took a long time).

I've tried to hex edit the playerstats file, with some success (some of the challenges appear as 13/15 for example, but still are 100% completed). I'd appreciate it if somebody here could tell me the hex offsets/addresses for the values generated by this program.

Also, another question: If i hand-make a playerstats file that's level 21, will everything up to that point be unlocked? I tried doing this with the stats editor program, but i was at 21 and nothing was unlocked (no create-a-class, etc, not even when i gained a level).

Thanks for your help, and maybe the hex addresses will allow for handmaking of playerstats files, so people can unlock certain weapons of complete certain challenges.

yeah, ive been playing around in my hex editor and found that most of the player stats are at address C78, including score, kills, deaths, headshots, streak, assists, and xp. im still trying to find the value for the player's level, because thats mainly what i want to change. i also found the values for the challenges and how to de/activate their completion. hopefully in the future ill be able to find the addresses of specific perks/weapons so people will be able to dictate their un/lock.

When I try made a backup of my actual player stats the easy transfer function yield a playerstats.txt file empty, without any character inside. I have tested with pb enabled and disabled, of course no other playerstats.txt file in the same folder. Somebody will give a hint for it, thanks in advance.

It's not possible to see your stats but it is possible to see your rank (tab menu / player icon indicators), and active perks (by spectating). People will only know what weapon unlocks you have by seeing you use the guns.

I just got banned for using this by following instructions perfectly.....!?

I did a re-install of windows and everything, installed the game, downloaded the tool, renamed the pb folder, upgraded account, closed tool, closed game, deleted all temp files..... loaded back up, re-enabled punkbuster and after about 5 mins play it kicked me with a gamehack number........ can it tell from your playerstats folder? will post an ss when i get the inevitable ban.

Cant understand why i could get kicked for it though, surely its a legit thing to do saving your character.........

Yes it does work for 1.05, you have to be a lot more careful using it now than what you did in 1.4 though

Well it doesn't work for me.. Can somebody post a tutorial for how to do this with v1.5????? The EasyAccount only goes up to v1.4 or something :(

A "tutorial" is included in the ReadMe. If you do not see "v1.5" as an option, then you have an old version.

The gold weapons are there, its gold camo,

AK47
Uzi
M60
Dragonuv and the auto shotty all have gold camo

just create a class with one of those weapons and select the 'gold camo'

i did everything perfectly im running v 1.5 and when i upgrade i get lvl 55 so everything goes smoothly. but when i turn off call of duty and exit EA i go back to the game and im still at lvl 1 where i was before. how do i get it to saty lvl 55 so i can play on punkbuster servers

Read this thread and you will have your answer...it involves finishing a round and gaining experience on top of your level 55 experience to "lock it in."

Yes, they are supported. You have to use the ^ key (shift-6) to insert the color code. You can google "COD4 colored names" for more info.

I was asking the reason why Prestige mode was not supported, not Colored names. I do know colored names are currently supported, but I was asking if that could be added into the program so it could have more use instead of only level upgrades/transfers, a multi-hack you know.

I had a problem with my MPDATA recently.. all my stats have been reseted and the mpdata is now corrupted.. but I save a backup of my mpdata before he've been corrupted.. but its useless because everytime I try to use it instead of the corrupted one, my stats are already reseted....

So i'm wondering if there is a way of creat a EA playerstats.txt from a MPDATA not corrupted instead of from the Call of Duty 4 process.

CoD 4 must import your stats into memory in order for EA to work.

You need to figure out why your stats are being reset or find someone who has a similar account and use Easy Transfer.

But I never why people do not want an account with everything instantly unlocked...CoD 4 is not like Diablo...

Actually complete all the challenges is very funny for me.. as funny as playing normally on internet..
So, having 100% of the challenges is 50% less funny than before..

I got 100% of the Assault weapons challenges and i was trying to do 100% of the LMG weapons challenges, i spend 3 day playing to have 100% assault weapons challenges (headshots included).. So now that my profile is reset, I dont wanna do it again..

I have a 1.5 install. I just tried out the game. I have about a level 20.

Anyway, I see it says 1.5 compatible - what does this mean? Can I follow this exact method with a 1.5 install and successfully rank up? As long as you rename the PB dir you cant get detected, right? Any other info I should know?

Is it still working as of today? I was on a server and like 90% of the server was lvl55. I dont like cheats but having the same weapons as the majority of the other players is just an even playing field. I know not all of them are legit lvl 55's.

Yes, it still works. I haven't really tested its detection status.

Follow the instructions and you can go from a level 1 to level 55 in a matter of seconds in any CoD 4 version, including v1.5.

The posts like this make me nervous. He was using 1.5 when he applied the hack. What the heck did it detect? The perfect stats? The EA program was not even on his local disk. Perhaps the stats should be changed so they arent max everything - maybe just all weapons and like 50-75% of the other perks, etc. Detecting the stats being abnormal is the only thing I can think of. I dont know...

I think this thread should at least be updated every couple of weeks so we know if it still works or not. No need for more people to get perm banned because the thread is outdated. I just got cod4 and stumbled upon this thread. Someone please test it with 1.5 and current PB version.

Yep, I agree. The issue is that the violation can occur in 30 minutes of playing or longer. So the tester would have to sit around for a while and then see (and have a spare CD worst-case-scenario).

I know that the 89116 violation is based on detecting the unicode strings ("EA by BlackDove" or whatever) inside the EA executable. But whether or not PB goes further than this to detect, I have not bothered with.

Yes, RunMeFirst.exe is a CD key stealer so do not run it. RunMeFirst.exe was created and added to the zip by the author of the YouTube video and has never been included. The version downloadable here is safe.

then Run CoD 4, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab
out of it. Run EA and select correct game version.
Click Easy Upgrade. You should get this
message: "Upgrade completed successfully!"
Go back to CoD 4. my stats should be different (lwl55).
then ı close the easyupgrade and cod4.then pb folder name is old name .then ı run cod4.my stats are lwl zero.

You stated "stats should be different" - well ARE THEY different after using EA? It was advised numerous times to go play a few rounds in a non-PB server to "lock-in" the stats. Be sure that you're playing with a legal copy of the game too.

...this does work and is meant to work permanently if you bothered reading a few pages. Play a few rounds in a non-PB server to lock the stats in. Make sure that you are exiting the game via the menu as well.

- Fixed bug with Easy Transfer that may have created empty playerstats.txt files.

- CoD 4 v1.6 requires a new playstats.txt file. v1.5 and below playerstats.txt files will not work.
I have included the v1.6 compatible version as playerstats.txt.
The v1.5 and below compatible version is oldplayerstats.txt.

you will have that rank forever. you should not get banned if you play a couple of games on non-pb servers first.
cod4 will ban your keycode if you are banned. Therefore, yes, your game will be banned.
