ok, i think we got the chameleon skins for Enemy Territory done, with all credit aimed at -N30- . problem is, i've been trying to test them on non-punkbuster servers, and it still doesnt want to use the edited pak0.pk3
it comes up with a message saying it "couldnt load an official pak file"
if we could just find a PB bypass, we would be on our way......

if some1 knows how to get this game to load a seperate pk3 after launch and injection, then we could just throw the necessary stuff in its own pk3, right? i put the shaders and stuff in the official pak0.pk3 from the install, so i'm guessing its noticing the edited pak file's size.

ET should load a pk3. file if it is placed in the main I dont see why you need to put it in the "official" folder. if et dosnt then they lied cause they have stated that a tool will be released to let you make your own maps and models.

you can make ur own maps and models but the problem is the server must have exactly the same pk3 files, so if you try to use a pk3 file that the server doesnt have, it will just ignore the pk3.. thats called pure servers

by the way chams is short for chameleons. they let you see characters through a textured wall with them being a neon changing skin of sorts. In MOHAA n30's chams work great.
