I just came across this myg0t thread yesterday saying you can edit a spy vmt to see them when invisible.
But I don't get how you do it. Any help?

My only advice is to play around with the values a bit, and get back to us if you find something that works to your advantage. I personally think being able to wallhack is more than enough. You can't be too powerhungry.
But in case you do stumble upon something, please post it here.=)
This should be our new benchmark for our next material hack pack, don't you think guys?

In that thread there is no solution either, and if I remember correctly, we have had exactly the same discussion (probably started by the same person as I recognize the screenshot) here as well.

there was a youtube video demostrating in wireframe cloaked spys doesnt get rendered in graphic of any sort .... so basically it needs to be "out of this world" to overcome this

It's probably only ever going to happen in a hack which edits the core dll's.

i think when spy fully cloacked spy model removes from screen and there is only one way - wait until someone code "spy shower" app

we need better material wall hacks to so you can see threw things transparent not just at certain angles

That isn't possible, sometimes things go transparent because of other objects blocking the model, so we can't predict what is blocking it. If we were to make everything wallhacked, the game would look really messed up and people could tell you hack immedately. Trust me, I know, I am admin of my TF2 server, and I can tell when people hack really, really easily.
I do it too, but I do it in a way that people can't tell that I am hacking. (A.K.A. die on purpose at times, actually wait until people come out to fire)

I had mixed results with this. It worked for one team for me but not the other. Changing the render would probably work.

so... when I delete proxies in spy_red/spy_blue.vmt it will work?
