How to unban from a server?

When you get banned by an admin via RCON, is there a way to unban yourself? Changing IP address isn't working. It works on other similar games. So what's the banning method here? Key? Name?

CD key. Get a new working unused CD key and you should be fine.

Did a quick search and couldn't find. So NON PB bans use CD KEY?

Yes, even in a non-PB server, they can ban you by your CD key. They use the game's GUID, not the PB GUID (both are based on your CD key).

Well in cod2 they give ip bans (some servers) (no problem for me ;) got a lot of bans, but i have much more ip's: hahaha, then they found the game guid: lol (ohh i can't tell, isn't allowed))

don't change ur cd key without a new account with ur old data in it

I think if u make a new profile then copy ur old save game to the new one, start the game with the old profile change the cd key the load the new one, it might just work.

If you have only 1 account, and you change key in cod, and not in register than it should be fine, you won't get the message of corrupt game stats. but be sure to play 1 game before quiting cod (just to be sure)

COD4 will only store info about yourself if you register the game .

Hackers should think before registering a game. I register at most of them because I lose my manual and cd keys easily ... lol

???? I mean windows register : start>execute>cmd (you get dos box) type regedit followed by enter...

And the game put some stuff in windows register, so you can edit it there, or you can do the new key by doing it in game...

Well, if you're playing on cracked servers, its a whole different story ;)

Change IP address, MAC and you'll be fine .

Changing registry doesn't work all the time ... but it does in some cases.
