Ok , i just got the game , would be most helpful if someone can help me with the following :

1.Whats the latest patch , and what does it do. is it popular?
2.Whats the anticheat situation like? if any
3.Multiplayer Hacks , any avilable? as i wanna make some.
4.If anyone has any details about whats loaded up in game from the host of the game. Instead of from your actual files , like game settings...
5. ok last one :) anyone tried anything with a memory editor? and does it work....

Harvard Bonin from EA Pacific has spoken about Patch 1.6 which is due to be released in a couple of weeks. Here's what he had to say:
Dear C&C Generals players,

As promised, here are more specifics on the planned 1.6 patch which should be out in the next 2-3 weeks. We are not rushing it through testing to ensure that it is a big plus, not a big minus for the community.

Here is the run down...

1. FIREWALLPORTOVERRIDE INI ENTRY - repaired this entry so it functions correctly.

2. ALT-F4 MULTIPLAYER EXPLOIT - Quitting the game during a multiplayer match using Alt-F4 will now correctly give the offending user a disconnect stat.

3. CHINESE AND KOREAN IME WINDOW ORDER - Re-prioritized the Korean and Chinese IME windows on the Save/Load screen so they now sort on top of all other windows.

4. SCUD STORM ANTHRAX BETA BUG - GLA’s Scud Storm now has the correct damage radius when upgraded with Anthrax Beta.

5. CHINA GATTLING TANK BUG - China’s Gattling Tank now correctly moves slower when it is damaged.

6. MULTIPLAYER LOBBIES – The lobbies have been renamed to allow people to congregate based on the type of game they want to play, not just their region.

7. GENERAL BALANCING ISSUES:
• China’s Gattling weapons now require Line of Sight to fire.
• China’s MiG cost increased from 1000 to 1200.
• China’s MiG Armor cost increased from 500 to 1000.
• US’s Cold Fusion Reactor Control Rod upgrade cost decreased from 800 to 500.

8. QUICKMATCH RESOLUTION – the resolution for QuickMatch games is no longer limited to 800x600. All resolutions allowed.

9. INVISIBLE UNITS - Fixing the problem where “behind the buildings” graphic was causing people with some old video cards to see invisible units.

10. NVIDIA GeForce FX fix - Fixed graphics glitch with certain drivers for GeForce FX.

Anticheat is very good. C&C has inbuilt a/c protecting which supposedly stops hex editing because you get a mismatch error with the other player(s).

Multiplayer hacks:
Yes posted about in the forum. Some features work, other cause the mismatch error. Other supposedly private hacks are running about.

Sorry i dont know whats client and whats server. Since its a strategy game i suspect most is serversided.

With the memory editor...someone I know was trying it. Thought it would work, i havn't seen him recently though :/ Memory editing is usually the way to go..but i dont know how easy it is to get passed the in game anti cheat.

w00h00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got us the best cheater there and now he is on ccg :P

yes memory coding is possible and i am trying some shit out but i am stuck on the package checking/sending part.....

and about the server client thingy nothing is server sided, cause all data from other player is in my registry while playing CCG (tried to edit that to and mine togheter caused to cause an mismtach 2 :@)

Ok guys , we hopefully .. i'll have a go at memory editing tommorow , see if i can freeze some money values or build time.... and with the hex editing, this mismatch error , is this ingame? or before the game starts?

It is Ingame, right after a game start against another, and when you try to do something that don't match the other player, you get a mismatch.

no it isnt when u hex edit all online games become a lilte grey (means different game data)

so u cant join it (I tried 1 thing but that doesnt work either
when u change buildtime, buildcost (in game.dat) from 5000 to 0005 doesnt work either :dead:

whats the latest patch out now? and anyone know a release date for the next one? .. cuz if i make one now then they bring a patch out next day ive blown it.... but i think memory editing SHOULD work. Just freeze your money value or freeze the value of building a soldier , then make it stay same on buildings , i dunno ..

patch 1,5 is out now, and 1,6 is coming out this month.

Memory editing is not working. I have done memory editing by freezing money.. and I get mismatch error. But there might be a certain way to do it.

I think this is an hard way and it didnt sucseed with me but maybe you do it virus.
If you could find the files who send/receive AC protection shit you could edit them to make fake files and send fake files. But it didnt work with me so i dont know it

When the path 1.6 is out they will stop patching (at least that was with red alert2 to, and i hope it so F*ckin much I HATE those patches) But i was lookin around in my ini.big and found some things the files in ur ini.big are in hex 2. so i edited it and my (dor example) rank.ini became rink.ini and it still worked online and stuff but wouldnt it be possible to create an double script that he runs the rank.ini as normal AND the rink.ini for the player only.....?????????????

yeh i know what ya saying , its like a mohaa path bypass... where you edit original files , copy them change their name and make it load that .. when it scans you it finds the original files... i think it would work if we could hex the path change to the ini.big .. leave the original one in, then have the edited one in a new folder or something.. i might try that soon .. im still looking into memory editing at the mo .. i'll let ya know. ;)

I was playing the other day in USA lobby 1 and my teammate was clearly hacking as he was building a tank about every 5 seconds. It was a map we started with 8k cash and b4 he even started collecting supplies he had at least 20 tanks. I asked him wtf he was doing but he was being a gay and wouldnt tell me. The only thing he said is the only way to hack 1.5 without mismatch is through packet editing. He said he had build speed, cash and fog transparency all saved, but when I asked him if he could send me the txt file of the saved packets he laughed and told me to get ****ed:(
I cant make any sense of any of the packet editors but I saw with my own eyes it definatly works without mismatch and he was owning so hard. He even rushed someone and they called him hax but he didnt answer.
With memory editing I get mismatch right away as soon as I change the value:(

packets of ccg are encrypted (only 1 possibility could be there to intercept the AC file)
only i need an good packet editor Etherpeek NX demo i have only 250 packets or 30 second capture :@:@:@:@:@
