Ok, I just installed patch 1.4 so i could use the most up to date and therefor undetected hacks you have on this (wonderful) site. But after i launched the game and go to join game no servers appeared on screen. So i manually refreshed the list at least half a dozen times and got nothing still. I tried restarting the game, but that didnt change anything. After 45 minutes of browsing the web for something to help me I found nothing, so i decided to just reinstall and try again. After reinstalling and before I reapplied patch 1.4, I went to join game to make sure that everything worked fine with 1.0 before updating to 1.4, and got plenty of hits at very reasonable pings. After installing patch 1.4 again I tried to refresh the server list to no avail. I checked my filters and opened them all up to make sure it wasnt the filters blocking out all the servers and still got nothing. I even went looking on the internet for individual server ips but every time I try to connect to one through the console I always timeout. After another hour of searching on the internet i finally gave up and decided to post here and see if you could help me out. Please if anyone out there has had this problem or has an idea to help me out anything would be much appreciated.

Haha, disable your firewall : turn it off!! Maybe that's the trick..

Try what server123 said and if that doesn't work, add the following to the shortcut:

+set net_noipx 0 +set net_noudp 0

Thanks for the suggestions, I disabled my firewall and tried again but it didnt seem to help. I also tried the commands you provided but they seem to be the default settings so i guess i already had it set to that. Thanks for the responses though. Anymore input would be great.
