View Full Version : Xantar won't turn itself off?

Hi.

I have a problem with Xentair or whatever. I downloaded it and then I tried to remove it, but it will not go away. I tried to just put the whole folder in the recylebin, but it seems that it's ALWAYS running. I cannot stop the procress in task manager. I have block Xantaire from acsess to the internet, but I still do not want it on my system, wasting space.

What can I do?

Why can't you delete the process from task manager? Try ending the process tree rather than just the process.

Boot into Safe-Mode (http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml) and remove from there.

I encountered a problem too. Its different from yours i think. Xentar was detected even after I deleted it. All you have to do is delete xentare of course and then delete your gg folder. It reinstalls gg for u and doesnt do hacking attempt detected. :chinese:

HEHEH same think. happent to me. is call VIRUSSS> ZOMG!!:x but i reboot my pc. CLEAN FREE and im amaze why ppl created virus to mess others pc up. wah a bummer

since when does rebooting the computer make it virus-free?

when u re-boot ur pc. it cleans and erase Every files u hav in ur drive. it bring u back to the state of when it was brought. biscallly new. but there are some virus that cant be erase ZOMMMMMG!!!
