yo i joined this server and of course i was banned on it and i knew it and when i joined this is what i got

umm what program is that that can put that box on your screen and not let you selecet a team? o and a few seconds later my game got force quit... so is it MAM?

Yes its mam... Probably someone who made their own custom script... Quite easy actually Its just a dialog and a mam command making you quit

lol it was actually annoying since it covers EVERYhting in fron of the cross hair and shit so its mad hard to have to guess where teh crosshair is and also guess where the person is since you cant see them..lol

ye MAM is just another gay ban program with some horribly retarded features...not retarded just retarded in the way that they do it...gayesy part about it is that it is oneof the fag ones that allows the admin to run cmds on you so when i go to taht server they are always like taking out my strafe/lean and making it just strafe and shit...but its not hard to bypassb tho

chances are their doing it through stufftext in a crappy script , if ya hex them then it wont allow anythin to show on screen like that crap.

Not sure what the actual cvar is to do it but i think it has "dialog" in it somewhere... Just hex it and they cant do it to you... they dont have to use crappy scripts to do it.... its a simple command -> rcon command "con \qsay test \q "client #" " or \qquit \qexit \qfreeze etc.... its actually a great server mod to have ad can be very helpful to you and the ppl in your server...so long as their arent any malicious admins just wanting to **** with you..

hex dialog and you will be fine

you can hex all day with no results. they are using mam cvars not moh cvars.

they are using mam cvars to send stufftext commands to you so your mohaa will open a dialog and display a msg... correct me if im wrong

whoops sorry , i thought you meant using stufftext to display a hud. and if there using MAM cvars then you might not have a chance.. untill we can make a working stufftext filter.

they are using mam to set a server_side cvar
here is how it works

they make a cvar = the dialog box with a msg in it

ie: mam_banned "You Are Banned From This Server"

If you are on their banned list its sends the stufftext command to you
to display the msg

Remember when "not sure what the programs name is" made your dumpuser say your cvars were "hacked" ? its using the same method instead its just making you pop up a dialog with that message.

Heres a basic idea

open console
type s_dialogscale 1
enter
type dialog Blah S_dialogscale 100 100

notice the dialog box displaying the variable of that cvar? thats how it works

PS. also it shouldnt matter what server cvar they are using they are still sending the command to you to open your dialog box so hexing dialog should work. although i am a dumbass and may be completely wrong :P

Well SealTeam now has 2 high profile Internet Forensic Investigators.I can almost assure you they are re-writing MAM and Ci scripts.I saw all kinds of crap going on there.Aside from the basic crap cheat blocks they also can now not only crash your game but totally screw it up to the point youll have to reinstall game.I even tried using a stealth program and masking ip but something is missing still.I got the messages, kicked , my game shutdown, and then i couldnt get the game to ever come up until i re-installed.-The SealTeam6 Clan is fulla cops too- also {DarkCity} Clan is their spawn-- more cops and their kids.I think its becoming a conglomerate of nerddom and men who like to frisk men in chains.I think ill stay out of their server and keep to terrorizing the 9 bazillion other servers out there with no clue.
