Well, after seeing quite a few releases in my time, I always see the same thing from the newer delphi programmers. A fairly simple program that's 2mb. Why? because you feel the need to have "sexy" gui and use those darn bitmaps.

So this is a component that let's you use .gif using tImage. Yes, this will make your applications significantly smaller as well.

Delhpi allow the use of .jpg as default. :\

But great on .gif allow. ^^

hmm, then mine must be screwed up. But, yeah, I mostly use .gifs anyways. May as well change title then :P

I thought jpeg was better than gif in quality or something. Gif Moves?

jpegs are good for really large images and compression (if used for small images, i hate them) gifs can have animation yes
