I have a couple questions, and sorry if it's not exactly what's expected to be asked in this forum ( but I did I check and It doesn't break the forum rules)
What motivates you to cheat, I mean sure trem is a hard game and all but why not take the time to get good at it? And doesn't it get boring having some aimbot do everything for you?
Sorry if this isn't completely what you'd want to answer but I'm just wondering as a player that doesn't use any cheats/hax/whatever the reasons why some people do.
~Thanks for reading

Some people cheat just to cause trouble, piss people off; others cheat because they don't have the time (i.e. are too impatient) to build skill and get tired of the pros (people that spend all day playing the game and become very good at it as a result in my opinion) defeating them; and others cheat just because they want to be the best at the game and don't mind resorting to unethical measures. I fit somewhere in between the 2nd and 3rd categories myself. Just depends on what kind of person you are I guess.

Whoa wizz, I wasn't expecting such a straightforward answer, but thanks. I still dunno why It doesn't just get boring after awhile though.... And sorry to anyone I get banned, It's one of my hobbies to catch aimbots/wallhax/etc (I like a clean playing environment)
~By the way Undergamer Great job on THZ It can be very hard to detect if set up properly, It's usually the hardest bot for me to catch (Exept for the rare idiot who deicides they want to try out /n_fov 360 or any other dumb stuff like /n_aimthru 1)... I'm just glad development stopped, it's hard enough to catch the way it is =p
And I bet your wondering how I know these commands and what they do... I gots a copy of thz =p I test it out on bot servers so I can study it(I still have quite a bit I need to learn from it, I know what everything does but i'm still experimenting with different values and whatnot) without messing with peoples games and I find /n_walls 1 very useful in detecting wallhax while speccing someone.
---Once again sorry if I get you banned

if you run your own server i can understand why you'd want to keep cheaters out, otherwise, you should stop being such a zealot. by your own standards its wrong to cheat, even in a bot server as long as it belongs to someone else. but i guess there's nothing wrong with reporting cheaters unless by chance, you are still using THZ to gain that unfair edge. sorry if i'm jumping to conclusions, but i've seen too many hypocrites like this. but remember, its only a game regardless of how unethical cheating may be. there's bigger problems in this world than cheating in an online multi-player game, however difficult it may seem.

Lol, First off when I'm on the bot server I'm playing against bots not people. Second off, if people do join I turn it off. Also like I said, I like a clean playing environment so I help the server by catching people cheating and posting a demo on their website. And I would NEVER use one use one to gain an unfair advantage over people. And yes while there may be bigger problems in the world then cheating on an multiplayer game I would like to actually enjoy playing rather then having a bunch of cheaters ruin my fun. Can you really blame me for wanting to have fun while playing a game(Last time I checked the point in playing a game was to have fun, but hey I could be wrong)

I'm going to have to side with 'because I can'. The games open-source and I'm customizing it for my personal creature comfort. :)
To put it in perspective, when admins whip out their big stick and start pissing on people (in-game that is), there's gotta be some balance there.
