False detected on VAC2

Well i got false detected on VAC2. I havn't played Halflife2 in weeks. Last time i played i was playing TF2 and i defently had no cheats. The funny thing is i have never used a hack at all for halflife 2 and i get banned wtf?

Ok the only thing it could remotely ban me for is either using:

a) Tsearch

or

b) IDA ( might have had it open, but certainly didn't have the debugger attached to hl2.exe)

So does anyone know if VAC2 bans for use of these programs?

Grr i'm so angry. This is bull**** their system doesn't have false positives.

If you get caught cheating on.. let's say Counter-Strike 1.6 you will be banned on Day of Defeat 1.3 and other games running on the HL1 engine too, same with games on the Source engine.

It's possible that you were flagged as a cheater more than two weeks ago when you were possibly cheating on TF2.

This is the thing though, i have never cheated on the source engine. I actually only cheat on Command and conquer and make cheats here for that game. But surprisingly i never cheat on the source engine ever because of the simple fact i never wanted to get banned on vac2.

I always thought vac2 didn't have false positives. I believe it does now or someone found my account out.. Its so humiliating that nobody believes that the anticheat could have raised a false positive. I'm pretty shitty that steampowered doesnt provide any support for this.

You can be banned for ida or tsearch but i need that hl2 need be atached.

Tsearch can get you vac banned, i've been banned before for using it in conjunction with cs1.6, lol. :devious:
