Prevent MD5Tool detection and being placed on the MBL by extracting Easy Account anywhere but your game folders and sub-folders. Also, never run EA when PB is running (see directions below).

Two new playerstats files included, playerstats.txt and playerstats65prestige.txt.

playerstats.txt = level 65 with all unlocks and no prestige

playerstats65prestige.txt = level 65 with all unlocks and max prestige (includes 5 additional custom classes)

To use playerstats65prestige.txt, rename it to playerstats.txt (but make sure you rename the other playerstats.txt if it's in the same folder!)

This should fix the bugs with the grenade error message that people were getting in previous playerstat files.

Also, all challenges and stat data is not changed (set to 0 like a brand new profile) - so keep track of your progress starting at maximum level!



Easy Account (EA) allows for importing and saving player profiles (unlocks, ranks, challenges, etc.)

Essentially, EA is two programs in one: Easy Upgrade and Easy Transfer.

Accounts are imported and saved in a file called playerstats.txt (generated by EA).

Before using this program, please disable PB by renaming the "pb" folder and restart the game.

After generating a playerstats.txt or upgrading your account, you may then rename the folder back to "pb".


To import an account with EA:

1. A valid playerstats.txt need to be in same folder as EA (a useable example is included with EA).

2. Run the game, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab to Windows.

3. Run EA and select correct game version.

4. Click Easy Upgrade. You should get this message: "Upgrade completed successfully!"

5. Alt+Tab back to the game. Your stats should be different.

It is best to play several rounds in an online, non-PB server to ensure that modified stats are "locked in."

Also, be sure you are using a playerstats.txt file that is generated from the same game version. Otherwise, not all stats may be unlocked.


To save an account with EA:

1. Run the game, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab to Windows.

2. Run EA and select correct game version.

3. If you already have a playerstats.txt in the same folder as EA, then you will need to delete, move or rename it.

4. Click Easy Transfer. You should get this message: "Easy Transfer completed successfully!"

5. A playerstats.txt file will now exist in the same folder as EA.

This playerstats.txt can now be used by anyone to create a matching player profile.
Getting error "Call of Duty: World at War needs to be running"?
Change your Windows language settings to English and retry.

Your right its not an EA Bug They didnt include the new weapons in the beta. Thats why you can only level to 40 without hack :bored:

No, it allows you to play one game with "level 65" showing up in front of your name along with the updated rank logo. But it resets back to 40 cause that's the max allowed for the beta ( you can't select any weapons higher than level 40).

look at the pb icon on the right of the servers list..
If you press on the pb button 2 times on the head of the page you should see non pb servers :)
They have no pb icon ;)

If you followed the steps correctly to update, then you would have renamed the PB folder. Doing this makes sure that PB is disabled.

Seeing as about 95% of the servers are PB-enabled, you will have to adjust the filter in the in-game browser to show non-PB servers only.

After playing in a non-PB server to "lock in" your stats (although I think the need to actually play is B.S.), quit the game and rename the PB folder back to "pb". This enables PB again without ever touching console commands.

Wish i could help with a playerstats file but my level 65 is memory hacked so only exp is level 65 with all weapons and perks but all the optionals are still locked aswell as prestige modes + might not be very stable this way as i now have an issue with my profiles...

Well there is another way...


here is a playerstats.txt from the beta, you can use that file with this new release for 1.0 and 1.1... i tried it it worked, just don't expect it to be perfect! Mainly for fooling around until a real playerstats from 1.0 is released. This one gives you level 65 all guns perks and attachments but no stats... and probably a lot of missing info as it errored out at the end after it said it was successful...

as for really starting at your exact level you would have to memory edit or use a playerstats file from someone who is at that level right now. The software is made now only needs the exact stats :)!

Hello, i have question, will this program work on pb servers ? All i want is to unlock prestiges ( or better **** prestiges ) just more custom classes and making for that 650 levels is totally gay. So it is possible to make something like that which will work on all servers ?

Well what i mean and what i wish : Have some program ( probably EA ) which i start once, modify my profile there, save it and from that day is my online profile always with 10 custom classes slots ( can be also on level 65 + prestiges ) and i dont have to start it always when i want play game and also it works on all servers, pb no problem for that. So what i want is just modify my profile to unlock all custom classes slots, thats all i want without playing stupid prestige mod.

Yes EA is your program for that, the old player stats works just fine so it will allow you to get level 65, but like i said its not perfect so it will error out when you import it to 1.0 with EA, but you will get all weapon, classes, persk, prestige from it just no stats... but thats fine as you can then get it on your own... almost better if you ask me :)!

Yep it works with all released cod 5 version 1.0 and 1.1, and once it edits the stats you will not need to have the software running, one time deal edits mem with new values you play online and it stays saved!

Fixed a bug that caused an error message to appear in Easy Upgrade and Easy Transfer.

Fixed a bug that caused Easy Transfer from not working.

The hacked playerstats with level 65, max prestige and all unlocks is included in the zip.

Take note that upon entering a server when using the hacked playerstats, you may see a grenade error message in the console, but it doesn't mean much and no one else can see it.

Not at all. This error message should not be visible to other players. The error message is why I'd like someone who has a lot of time to manually complete all challenges and generate a playerstats so it's based on a legit account (without this error!). As soon as someone does that, I'll include that playerstats.txt with the release instead.

All these errors didn t prevent EA from working properly with the hacked playerstats, been playing level 65 for two days already and np... as for the frag error its a non issue really... even the error upon update didn t stop it from doing its job... on version 1.0 anyway!

I don't get it unfortunatley.

Instructions are somewhat useful, but I'm still stuck on not being able to create a profile from within the game, and if so, then nothing will save after each match.

I have PB folder renamed.
EasyTransfer is in a random unrelated folder.
PB services are disabled.
PB is off in the game options.

I run the game, alt-tab, run EA, it says it's successful. I alt-tab back into the game..nothing.

So I suppose this isn't a fix for offline style profiles and that might require a hexeditor.

Oh, then don't use the included playerstats file then. I assumed it was a warning notification due to a scripting error - these normally are client-side warnings only.

Like I said before, we need someone who can afford to sit at home and play computer games all day to unlock all of the challenges and use his account to base a playerstats off of. Remember as well, this game is brand new. CoD 4 was out for a while before someone went through and completed all of the challenges with me. People will suspect cheating when they see the noticeable level 65 / max presitge red star during gameplay.

For those of you having problems:

- Are you using a legal, retail version of the game?

- Are you selecting the appropriate game version inside EA before clicking Easy Upgrade / Easy Transfer?

- After using EA at the menu screen, are you connecting to the Internet and playing games hosted on the Internet so your stats will save?

Again, a hacked playerstats by me, but it should be just as good as the real thing.

The way the game is designed, you cannot have the 5 additional custom classes without being at level 10 prestige unless the game is hooked. This is out of the scope of EA and would cause further detection issues later down the road.

I found the way how to remove grenade message - when you use 65 + prestiges you see in other new 5 custom slots no grenade, so just put into those class primary grenade ( doesnt matter which one ) and message in the game will never appear again - easy :-)

CoD WaW servers are offline for some reason its not only you , everybody including me cant go online some cant even start game , i would say EA ****ed up again with something but this is Activision ... no ideas

Servers are down, tryarch is fixing server problems so you wont be able to connect...

If you really want to play you can still connect to private servers and hamachi will also work... again unsupported stuff buts its another option!

With the newest update posted on the 14th the Grenade Error is showing after making a custom class lvl 5 pris...

I noticed on the CallofDuty 5 forums some people are getting that error as well. This is just the Level 65 playerstat, the Level 65 Pris Stats is just fine.

Yes this just means all his custom slots do not have a primary grenade selected... just ask him to add a greanade type for each custom profile... all 10!

I suspected as much so I told him to check.

He tells me that all the slots that he unlocked (2, he said he didn't want to be seen as a prestige 10 and get banned) have been set to Frag. With the newest update posted on the 14th the Grenade Error is showing after making a custom class lvl 5 pris...

I noticed on the CallofDuty 5 forums some people are getting that error as well. This is just the Level 65 playerstat, the Level 65 Pris Stats is just fine.

The newest update does not include level 5 prestige in either playerstats file. The error could be caused by the memory editing you had to do to become level 5 prestige. Try deleting EA entirely, including all playerstats files, do a fresh download, and EasyUpgrade with default playerstats.txt. The grenade error message should not occur. I should of been more specific, the error doesn't start happening until you unlock the "create a class" in prestige, which i think is lvl 5 (Prestige 1)

Doesn't matter if you rename it since PB does not use file names. Best thing to do is delete it after use. PB cannot scan for stats in memory because of conflicts with legitimate players.

As said in the directions, it must be in the same folder as EA. But do not put it inside the game folders (MD5Tool). Sounds like you have a pirated copy - and that will never be supported!

you rename pb folder for the time being while you use EA and play on non-pb server to save stats online
then after just rename it back

just do as it says and you wont have crappy problems like yours
1. A valid playerstats.txt need to be in same folder as EA (a useable example is included with EA).

2. Run the game, and at the menu screen, Alt+Tab to Windows.

3. Run EA and select correct game version.

4. Click Easy Upgrade. You should get this message: "Upgrade completed successfully!"

5. Alt+Tab back to the game. Your stats should be different.

It is best to play several rounds in an online, non-PB server to ensure that modified stats are "locked in."

Also, be sure you are using a playerstats.txt file that is generated from the same game version. Otherwise, not all stats may be unlocked.

As stated in the first post, the challenges are incomplete because the playerstats is based on hacked unlocks. Everything is unlocked without the challenges being complete on purpose.

Yes, people can see you at maximum prestige. Usually when the red star is seen, a person is accused of cheating in most servers.

Please save as JPG next time - BMPs take up too much space and your screenshots are too small / pixelated. Try running the game in Windowed mode:

(Then go into EA, see if message box still appears)

With the PB error, make sure your folder is renamed back to "pb". Then in game, go to Options -> Multiplayer Options -> Change PunkBuster to "Yes"

If you read early in the thread, you will see that the unlocks are hacked in - that's why none of the challenges are complete. It really does not matter that the challenges complete since everything is available to you. I think it's actually better this way, each person can keep track of his progress. So no, I have no "fix" for this and probably never will offer one unless someone wants to upload his playerstats.txt with all challenges complete.

I have a new problem....
I may have shut down the PB when doing the update process by renaming the PB folder but.... I just found out that PB starts up when the windows starts. It can be found in the Tak Manager in the Process Tab....
(Mentioned before in the few previous posts ago by someone)

Does that mean I am going to get banned? If I am, can I prevent this by Easy Transferring my account and then delete it completely then apply it again but this time PB disabled even in the Task Manager???

No one has yet reported detection issues with EA. This does not mean that PB isn't scanning...

In CoD 4, detection was not with the PnkBstrB / PnkBstrA services - only pbcl.dll. The risk for using EA in CoD 4 is a Global GUID Ban (CD key). Even Balance could change this at will for both games. However, for PnkBstrB to scan, you must be connected to a PB-enabled server. So if you follow my directions right, you should not be able to join a PB-enabled server, thus not needing to disable the PB services! It would be unethical if PnkBstrB was still scanning for cheats / reporting directly to Even Balance servers when you're playing in a non-PB server.

Remember to delete EA from disk once satisfied to further prevent PB from detecting.

Strangely I never found PnkBstr B since I disabled it few days ago, once I disabled it, it never appeared. Which gives me bad feeling about it. Maybe disableing is enabling its alarm. Nah just my silly thoughts.

However PnkBstrA always starts with the windows.

The program worked great for me and a friend, but another friend is having the same problem. Renames the PB folder, runs the program, goes into COD, Alt+Tab's to the program, clicks on v1.1 (and has 1.1 installed btw) and gets the same error. :dead: Here is a screenshot of the error. To find out what versions of the game that EA supports, simply download EA and look at the interface.

You change the language to English via the Control Panel. Also make sure that you're logged in as admin and you're using a legal, retail version of the game.

my stats got corrupted and the game reset me to level 1, so i used this program to restore my 65 prestige max, however I would also like to restore the challenges I had accomplished. Thanks much, I started using the memory editor and I have written down the addresses I have almost all of them figured out. I was just wondering is there a way to get them marked DONE without having to log in and make the last kill/finish up each section. Im guessing this does not support the Steam version of the game as im having difficulties...
Renamed PB folder, started W@W, alt+tabed to EA, selected game version 1.1 and upgraded.
I get the confirmation message that its worked "Easy Upgrade completed successfully!" but the game then stops responding.
I end the game exe via task manager start it up again and my level and rank have been reset to 0.

Any thoughts?

Kill process PnkBstrA.exe / PnkBstrB.exe
All I did was run the game
Alt tab and run easy account and select version 1.2
Pressed easy upgrade
Went back in to the game and enter a normal server
Kill anyone or be killed
Exit the game
DONE!! Now it won’t reset back to your old level

Ive used it, and am now 65, but is it possible to play on Punkbuster servers again? (With the .exe & .txt files deleted) or am I screwed? -I ran it and changed the folder of pb to punkboy (game said punkbuster was disabled on startup aswell & no pb in the ctrl-alt-del) played one match on an non-pb server and got a challenge, killed a guy and left server, quit game & removed the folder i had the 'fix' in.

Can i now rename pb back?

It's not caused by EA. Maybe Alt+Tabbing is the issue. Try experimenting with your send settings in the game's options menu. And / or upgrade your sound card drivers.

Thanks, I did some research in the mean time and indeed it's a bug in the patch. Solved by switching to different sound quality level in Vista configuration sound panel.

Oh and I am really, really worried about Punkbuster finding me out so this is what I did:
1. Before downloading Easy Account Go into where you have installed Call Of Duty 5 (Usually "C: \Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War"), Then you will see a folder called "pb" (Standing for Punk Buster), Now what you do is right click on that and change the name to something completely random, ie; "lolpb", "pb2", "pbcat", ect. This stops Punk Buster from starting so when you run CoDWaWmp.exe it start by doing what you usually does by saying stuff like Downloading Account Data and so on but at the end it will great you with a message saying something like this, PunkBuster can not be enabled...so on and so on. This is good.
Now If you really want you can go into TaskManager by clicking:
"Ctrl + Alt + Delete" or "WindowsButton + Pause Break" (WindowsButton is usually in between Ctrl and Alt)
Then click on Task Manager, Then find in the processor list something like: PnkbsterA and PnkbsterB.
When you find these click on one then click End Processor. Do this for both. Don't worry they will come back after a restart!
Once you have done this I believe that it will be a bit hard for Punk Buster to find out and do something nasty to you!
2. Download any where but the Call Of Duty folders. Then extract any where but the Call Of Duty Folders.
3. Follow the rest on instructions on the first page of this tread!

When using this hack, you don't even need to disable punkbuster but on the safe side if you wish, you can, but what i do is run the hack with cod5 multiplayer open, do it, close down hack and delete ALL files related to hack, go on and play on a non-pb server change your filters and then wait untill the match ends at the end.

Close down cod5 and reload up multiplayer and play on pb servers and it works fine. Becuase at the end of a non-pb match the rank is saved fully into your profile so then you are ready to close down cod5 mp and load it back up so the memory is no longer edited and the profile which was saved from the non-pb server is now loaded legitly.

Also 1.3 patch is out now, i guess BlackDove will update it in the next few hours because we all know how great he is.
