i was wondering if it is possible to change your fps. i remember mohaa you could in game, which led to the telescript, which might be helpful in bf1942. i'll tell anyone the code for mohaa if it will help in the creation of one for bf

yeah you press c when in fp view. then you goto tp view. Only the third person view has no crosshair that i'm aware of.

better vidio card, overclock your computer WARNING! this could crash your system if you do it to many times or your comp cant do it, and this cant go against me cause i warned u.

Whatever, Mine has been constantly overclocked for 6 months...all it does is take a little off the life expectancy of your mobo and cpu...and who uses a computer for more than a few years before they upgrade...Im lucky to keep a component six months before I get something better... The best thing to get more speed and power from you computer is this,if your mobo supports it, overclock your RAM..... Your ram is what holds your computer back. It bottlenecks the info cuz its slower than everything else in your computer...
NOTE: this method is for pentium chips, AMD requires more stepts to oclock cpu.
You can usually get into bios by pressing delete at startup, may be different for each computer. Usually promts you with instructions on startup.
So simply set your CPU:RAM ratio to 3:4 giving your ram a free 25% boost in speed without overclocking your cpu at all...
If you want to get a couple more hundred mhz out of your cpu then just up your FSB, or CPU clock speed (same thing, may be called different things in your computers bios menu)
Its usually set to default 100mhz or 133mhz depending on the chip. If its set to 100mhz you arent even getting your default RAM speed which sucks... I dont recomend an increase of more than 15mhz if you have a normal cpu fan for cooling. Also if you go any higher than that you will have to increase your ram and CPU voltages which makes it run even hotter...
Disclaimer:Attempt at your own risk. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your computer. Going into bios may actually void your computers warranty. Check with the manufacuter. Usually if you have to check with the manufacturer, your computer most likely doesnt support changing anything in bios. I build my own so this doesnt apply to me.

Um actually it's not the ram...its the BUS.....THATS the bottleneck.

Not really on the new computers the bus is faster than the ram... On the older ones, yeah yo are right.. Neither are even close to the potential of the CPU speed anway.
By the way still cant access that damn folder.... You think its my ftp client>???? Maybe I should try another one... Nice avatar by the way...

i think everyone misunderstood my post. i was saying that, if it was possible through the game to change your frames per second, you could lag across the screen to other players view, but to you, it would be smooth. it worked in mohaa...

Darlando this wont work with an AMD chip.... Its locked. You must ulock it with a pin short.

Ok, maybe this will help you. Im not sure if this is what you mean, but you can attempt to lock your FPS to a specific number by typing in this command:
renderer.lockfps #
After the # enter the number you want it locked to. Hope that helps.

"yeah EA, I want to exploit your game and get an unfair advantage over other players, if you could help in my goal by allowing scripted commands, that would be greatly appreciated, thanks"
