Hey, i was just browsin when i saw mah renegade cd and installed it for fun.. then i got into it... and next thing u know, im addicted. :dead: just wonderin if there are any hacks for renegade... ThX

Hrm, a lot of people have been asking for these. I'll see what I can dig up, but I don't know if they will work in multiplayer.

OK I found this, now I don't know much about renegade so I have no idea weather this would work or not but here goes:

In multi-player mode, you can get extra units for characters and vehicles
by pressing [F8] and typing extras fnkqrrm. The message "Extras enabled" will
confirm correct code entry. Go to the Purchase Terminal and hold [Alt] the
entire time that you are looking for something to buy. There should be four
new characters and two new vehicles. Note: You will only see the new units.
Release [Alt] to see the normal units. Note: This will not work in a laddered game.

and also:

1.) Buy a Nuke/Ion cannon beacon

2.) Place it in one of your buildings

3.) Exit the game before the beacon goes off. If your not in the game when the beacon goes off it destroys the building (dont ask me why its probably a bug) and it cannot be disarmed.

4.) Switch team. You can switch team even on servers with teamswitching set to off. Most of you know that you will always be on the same team if you exit the game and then enter it again. Its because the game keps a list of the names and the teams they belong to. So by simply changing your players name you have now a chance to get on the other team if you enter the game again.(Its 50% if teams are even) If now you are on the other side fine. If not exit and change your name again until your on the right side.

For example you can nuke the barracks/hon switch team and increase your sniping skills without having to fear enemy snipers since they can´t buy any.
