View Full Version : extract GCF to SourceMods

Well I have a question since I found an easy sv pure bypass for mods that are hosted at Valve (so the mods that are packed as GCF): Extract the files to the SourceMods directory and change the files you want.
I just wonder if it's possible that something happens with my account now (since I accidently tried this on a VAC secured server)? Or is this just a designflaw in the system I just discovered *maybe also works for CSS or TF2?)

Just wanted to let you know: It works
So just extract ZPS or Insurgency Mod to SourceMods and take your own custom materials without any method preventing it (ZPS: not loading any custom shit; InsMod: "are you trying to cheat?" - circumvent with shadertrick)
