Tank Fire Rates?

I'm not asking for someone too do it for me but, If I could get pointed in the right direction that would help. I want to increase the refire rate of my tanks online. I was head to head with another tank and it was firing almost every second. while I was waiting to reload. We were both in Iraqi tanks. so they were the same make of tanks. Any points in the right direction would be appreciated.

it is impossible, Because it is server side and it would look like your shooting faster but you really wouldn't and it would just screw up your firing.

You dont know the power of a real coder my friend. Sure, if someone can code its **** bigger than it is, he could code the netcode in that way, that the tank is shooting faster then another one. Just think on client dll hook.

Ok first of all no this cannot be done on MP, unless the person was server admin but you never know.

2nd to get you pointed in the right direction get an RFA Unpacker and RFA Packer (Some are both). Extract your Object.RFA file and locate

Vehicles/Land/T72/M1A1

Extract it and open the file, you will see a list of the parts that make up the tank, I am not at home right now so bear with me as I do not remember the lines by memory but look around and see what the lines are. Common sense should be your better judgement, find something on tank fire, tweak it. Just learn it.

Saber-BF, we always tell people that because it is simpler to say that then it is to explain what Superfunkster is getting at - I'm not good at tweaking with Dll's, as I never have needed to yet, but I can still make these kinds of cheats work online...there is more than one way to skin a Dev :)

Right. I am not good at tweaking dlls or anything else. I am good at network shit and so on, as i am the admin in our company but, coding is still a miracle for me. But i am getting on it :-) Got some good books called "Learnig C, VB, C++ etc. in 35 Days". So maybe in the next year or later or earlier I will release an OGC Hook for BF. If this game is still uptodate. Who knows.

I bet you don´t know any coding, because you just know how to download the adobe plugin for DDE files, bright up the textures you need for that and make it an installer. Nothing more.

You've got to be kidding me... yes toad actually does have stuff working for 1.4, if you actually posted on a forum called UC where actual intelligent people post rather than the whiny ******* here that just whine that they got no cheats. Toads already got the skins workin in 1.4, Max got me working on sonar and I now have it on 1.4 (for planes). None of us want to release shit because of people like you. LOL Toad doesnt know anything but adobe.. hahhahahahhahhahahha, holy shit thats a good one, if you only ****ing knew what he could do in this game you would never play it again. If he released what he has working then the game would suck, I commend toad on that one.

3rd... 1.4 implemented crc checking, not as EASY as 1.31 and below.

really you guys have all that stuff privateyou guys have gotta help me when i get full version and past the basics. Brighting up the textures thats easy i learned to do that in about 10 minutes almost anyone here can do that so what if you can do it, it is the easiest thing to do in this game.

Sure I could edit my files all day long....make all my players pink for gods sake....but what good would that do with crc..?? NOTHING. That is our #1 goal...defeating CRC. I'm not a ASM god or anything, but I know enough to jump off from a starting point.

Ok - thats the lame attempt at boosting my posting count completed I guess I dont have a hidden spammer in me, spanner maybe ;)

To back up some, can anyone else confirm they have seen this in multiplayer since 1.4? I know it was possible "pre" 1.4.

I have a few ideas how to go about this but I am not going to attempt this unless I know the door hasnt been slammed shut already.

Either way as the man says - nothing is impossible and I need a new project unless any of ya have a better idea :cool:

I think it is possible to do...in theorie...but very hard...
It would involve packet editing....but sofar i've seen nobody(including me) doing it on this forum..
Other possibility is nopping out the asm code that sends packages to the server, like nopping out the line that sends the actual shot to the server.....

But that's all theorie.........
