[Help needed] What writes to this address.

Okay Lets say I've found an address on trickster, So then I choose Find what writes to this address. And it comes up with some Code: (NOT REAL) 00245865: 8A 6c 4d - [eax + 15], edx

Also it says the value of the pointer/addy you are trying to find is most likely 21478922

I put that in with Hex ticked and always come up with nothing.

What do i do?

And if anyone has a messenger (EXPERIENCE IN HACKING NEEDED) (preferably yahoo) Please PM me it if you're willing to help me find my own new hacks (non Begging for your or constantly pestering you) I will share my finding with whoever does so (If they promise to keep them private). I wont waste your time, if you dont waste mine.

I really wanna learn how to find my own hacks, Help a leecher become a hacker.;)

the pointer is EAX + 15 ....in eax is the adress of the pointer ... eax+15 points to somewhere in the memory... EDX is the value wich is written into the pointer...

....dunno what value you tried to search ?! ....

Ok So The EAX that popped up in the More info box... I add 15 to that? Like.... 15 to the Adrees right?
So I Add the address in HEX in calc and add a hexed 15? im confused. Check my PM i sent u too.

when you look at the info at the adress you will notice:
(for example)
eax = 215A677B
edx = 00000012

[eax + 15] points to: 215A6790 in this adress you write 12

so you have to search for the 215A677B to get the pointer....


i think...the last time i searched ofr a pointer was 6 months ago ;) hehe
