Error starting MOH spearhead

mohaa works perfectly.

but i patched it up to 1.11, installed Spearhead,
patched to 2.15, and even tried to use a no-cd / fixed exe
by Razor1911

but it still gives the error

"Tried to read from a zip file buildver.cfg that was not open"


i tried to copy the buildver.cfg, localize.cfg, and autoexec.cfg from "/mainta/pak1.pk3" to "/mainta/pak2.pk3"

then it loads up, past the small dialog box, and goes full screen

then the screen turns gray.

i can see and move the mouse cursor, but it doesnt go into the game menu

i know this isnt a vid card prob cuz i can run mohaa just fine.

plz help./

You might want to do a fresh reinstall and find another no-cd patch. Try that and see if that fixes it.

i tried multiple no-cd patches, and also, i uninstalled/reinstalled it a dozen times
as well.

but i got past the "buildver.cfg" part, and now, it just loads a gray screen

I got this same problem too.

When the grey screen shows up, the console screen gives the error:
recursive error after: Couldn't load font delima-30

I've searched on google for it, and noticed that there are probably 1000's of ppl with this same problem. (most of them even got a retail disc)
But still couldn't found an solution for it.

I know the pak1.pk3 file from the mainta folder is corrupt, but couldn't fix it with WinRAR.

The only thing that's probably needed, is the file called Delima-30.RitualFont on location pak1.pk3\fonts


If someone could stick that file in here, i'll try to make a new pak1.pk3, and see if it works.


Or else, if someone got a 'normal' solution for this, please speak now :classic:
