Using Tsearch for AVP2

well i was using Tsearch program and i was trying to make a 100 ammo sniper rifle... i did every thing i was supposed to then i found the adress for the value i put 100 then i went back to the game but when i was playing only 10 ammo bullets fired and hit the person but the rest were just firing but never did any damage to the person....Why?

because ammo is server side and it doesnt work. the other 90 bullets will just be phantoms.

no u cant make an infinitey it only wrks if they havent pachted it i have the 100 sniper ammo works only because they havent pachted it and there are 3 addresses or sniper ammo dude

I don't know if this has been answered, but I'll try...

When a game is ran, parts (or most of it) is stored in the memory (and shown in the process list)

When a game patch comes out the patch moves around and edits some memory locations, adresses, and general information...

This is why cracks don't work after a certain version, because they write information to a file, but since the file size has changed, you risk killing the program, thus it doesn't write...

Since bullets are server-side, if you write, it will just syncronize and look as if you have 100 (occasionally), though you have 10...

The reason is because the server regulates everything with bullets, health, and countless other things, and it is drawn on your computer

For this reason that if you were playing a lan game with someone and did this, it work work (most of the time), because you ARE the server
