Hide IP

after looking at the forum i decided that this place is the most apropriate place 2 post this

Is ther any way of hiding my IP while playing games or playing with a diff IP ... i cant change the IP that my ISP gave me ... so i have 2 go through a proxye or something ... any ideeas or is this possible at all (well in PC progams anything should be possible )

in 99% I would say u can't... but if u are pro with proxies, firewalls etc then you can route your traffic throught another PC (socks4 or 5 better) and then play... Also your ping will be bigger of course

wel i am no n00b with pcs n stuff i worked on em for 7 years now and i can say i am pretty god ... BUT with networks thats a whole diferent story ... untill recently i didnt need 2 know anything about em ... so yeah its gonna be pretty hard ... but if u say it can be done ill look everywhere read every tutorial till i do it ... 10x (is it possible 2 do it with some programs i found some so called ip scramblers and stuff like that ... )

u need something like this : http://www.inetprivacy.com/a4proxy/ but it's not exactly what u need

basic scheme of u having another IP is:

u root someone's box
install socks4 proxy there with login/pass
on your firewall u reroute GAME's port to the ip of the box u rooted
box then conenects to the gameserver

it's called tunelling... can be done in many ways and u can use amny tools for it... I'm sory, but I can't really help u with this, there are reasons for that. So pls don't ask
