ok heres my guide on using utpt:
1) open up agp.u engine.u etc.
2)go to the export table section
3 now make sure u know what u want b4 goin on to other steps such as recoil accuracy fog etc
4)after u know what ur looking for hit the name tag to alphebitize the offsets. i find this easier :)
5)if you have trouble finding what ur looking for do this: File;Filter: now there should be 5 areas where u can input data.. the most used is usaully the group field. Now in teh group field area put in for instance AGP_Weapon for hacks like accuracy, recoil, scopes, zooms,etc. U can also put Human controller for flashbangs and fog and stuff like that. (thats usually in engine.u tho)
6) ull now have less offsets to choose from. When you find the one you think is most likely the one you looking for right click: analize raw object
*NOTE* the offset shown by the tab size is not the real offset u r looking for*
7) Now u should c hex codes what ur looking for is something like 01 in small offsets, u should rly just look at the ones with only like about 16 offsets unless ur an expert.
8)moving on when u find 01 (change to 00) or anything else clik on it and write down that offset which should be shown at the bottom of UTPT. Also remember what the original hex was.
9) Now open up the aaom xml with notepad and creat a new hack section which u should know how to do if not lok in the UC forums they have a tutorial there. Anyway moving on insert the offset u want to change, put in original and what u want to change it to.
10)Finally test it out. Run the game if it comes up with error or if it doesnt work in the game that means u need to keep moving on and try to find dif offsets like if u wanted no explosion damage and the explosion damage offset didnt work look for take damage or something like that that.
You should find one soon enough

*Notes*
1) when a offset doesnt wokr remember to uncheck and click apply in aaom b4 u delete from ur xml or ur agp.u will get messed up
2)If something were to happen and u forgot to write down the offset and u didnt uncheck and now americas army wont load. try running cleaner.exe in ur sys folder.

can any1 here send me a link to utpt d/l i jae been lookking for a long time and still cant find where to get it from and when i try the ones that the poeple put on the other thread it always says that this d/l doesnt exist... is it just me or my computer ..?

lol im still lost. how exactly do u know which is which? e.g. for no recoil there is 2 or 3 diff ones how u know which 1 it is so u can look at that raw data and get the offset

e.g. when u look for recoil. there is a couple of recoil parts in agp.u
ho do you know which recoil part to use. under AGP_Weapon there is the bWpnrecoil which is what i think is used but there is also a BaseRecoilModifier. so if there is a few like that how u find out which 1 to use? then when u have the right 1 and u look at the raw data how do u figure out what number to change. like the recoil where u change 01->00 at the offset that u find?

ok yes ur a beginner so try changing the 01 to 00 and teh whole thing is taht u dont know u have to test them in aaom tahts the only anoying part:(

lol so its like the lottery. except we spend longer doing this. wish there was a simpilar way. lol we need a dev to go awol and release the aa decrypter and decompiler for aa 1.9

ok, sorry again from bumping an old thread
i'm trying my hand again at finding offsets for aaom, for the 3rd time
so i read the whole tutorial here and open up clean and modified copies of my agp.u
i try to compare the no parachute damage offsets to try and see what you guys did
the freakin thing is i can't find it, or maybe i'm just blind, so i move to a different option like "always can support" the bipond thing, something simple for me to try to find, like before i couldn't find it.
under what headings in the export tree in utpt do you guys look under?

i did look for that always draw sniper crosshairs back in aaom for 2.2
yeah, i opened up a clean copy of agp_inventory and one after i clicked the apply button on aaom
but when i looked at them at utpt after pressing the analize raw object option, i didn't see any differences in the two.

any advice/help would be greatly appreciated
