Not as many exploits as we'd all hope, but still some:

Fast Equip/Unequip of Armor:

Place the armor you want in your second panel, and line them all on the top row, then make a macro:

/ui action toolbarPane01;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
etc..
/ui action toolbarSlotPane00;

Put in as many "slots" as needed, the last one makes you go back to the first panel, for quick and efficienty equipping.

Never have armor decayed again:

Yes this little bugger..(This only really works while in PvPing, and you need a friend)

While PvPing, and you know you are gonna lose, unequip your armor so you have nothing but clothes on, then trade with your friend, you cans ee the trade radical, but he can't, just have him use this command:

/trade

He'll trade with you, and then you can get your armor back with no decay!

Speedy Crafting: I DID NOT COME UP WITH THIS

*****Important***** (TURN OFF THE CONTROL THAT MAKES YOU VERIFY EACH STEP BY GOING TO THE OPTIONS MENU AND DESELCTING IT UNDER THE MISC SECTION)

Step 1: - Setup
First you need 5 crafting tools of whatever type you need to make your item. For Stim Packs I will be using the "Food and Chemical Crafting Tool". Place these tools so that the first 5 slots of your toolbar are occupied by them (drag them from the inventory to the bar).

Step 2: - Choosing a draft schematic
This is a tricky part. There is a command that will allow you to use a macro to select a draft shematic but it changes from time to time as the person gets more schematics to choose from so here is how you find the one you want..

Step 2a - Open the datapad with (ctrl-d) and click on the tab that says draft schematics. then find the one you want, in this case we are using "Small Stim Pack-A". Start at the top left and count the number of items that can be made with the tool you are using going down the column before shifting over rows. Stop once you have found your item. However many items you count, subtract one and write this number down you will need it in a minute. (I.e. My stim packs were 3 down on the list so I need to write down 02, don't forget to put the zero in front of it.)

Step 2b - Now make a new macro that only has one command in it and place the macro in the 6th slot on your toolbar.<br>/selectDraftSchematic ??; (Replace the question mark with the number that you wrote down.)

Step 3 - The next macro controls the steps through the crafting process so you don't have too. Place this in the 7th slot on the toolbar.
/nextCraftingStage; (If you are using a crafting station you need to insert this command 2 more times.)
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice noitem;
/createPrototype practice noitem


Step 4 - This is the longest macro but is the last thing you need to make in order to speedcraft items Place this item in the 8th slot on the toolbar.
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot05;
/pause ?; (Depending on how many resources are needed I suggest 2 for every one resource so 4 in this case)
/ui action toolbarSlot06;
/pause 2;

Step 5 - Start the macro, with these steps you will only need to double click on the resources to use when the window opens. The macro does the rest of everything for you.

First you know how you have like Half-way to Hunting IV? and you surrender to Hunting I and you have like 29k extra scouting exp? Well if you train using a recruiter, then the reruiter gets confused and you get double the fp! PLEASE TELL ME INGAME SO I CAN EXPLAIN MORE, THIS IS THE BEST WAY I CAN.

Okay this is a quick post for people who cannot get the thing to work.

For my example I am gonna use Novice artisan.

Learn up to engineering 4.
Max Out the General Crafting XP for the Elite Profession (50000.)
Surrender down to 2, 3, or 4 according to your rank in the alliance or empire.
The lower your rank the higher up the chain you want to surrender then scale down to 1.
YOU MUST NOT HAVE ANY LEARNED SKILLS THAT USE THE SAME XP (IE Business or Domestic Arts.) IF YOU DO IT SETS THE XP CAP HIGHER. That means LESS TO NO POINTS.
I hope this helps out everyone who has been having problems.

Alright so maybe it is already well known..oh well:

FENCER KNOCKDOWN EXPLOIT:
(Pretty nice considering you get One-Handed Dizzy pretty early)

Just hit a NPC (must be person, not creature) a few times with Dizzy, then a couple One-Handed hits, and he will stay down, (if it doesn't work, just hit him a couple times wiht it, he will fall eventually)

Well, there is no real "med exp exploit" but if you don't know it, you can either:

A. Pet Wound Exploit:

1. Get a Commando
2. Enter duel with him.
3. Have him use flame single I or II on your pet.
4. Heal you pet so he constantly gets incapped, and then gets more wounds.
5. When the burn process is done, and your pet has load of wounds, heal.

B. Tumbling

1. Have someone tumble for you by using this macro:

/tumbletostanding;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;

Put this in you F1 slot on the top, not bottom.

They will constantly tumble, allowing you to heal them.

You can also use a afk medic macro by the following:

/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause x; (X being how long for the person to lose all health)
/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/pause x;
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/pause x;
/ui action toolbarSlot04;
/pause x;
/ui action toolbarSlot05;

Just put this macro in your F1 slot, and put stimpacks in your F2, F3, F4, F5, slot, and let the macro go all night.

Honestly? I got survival I-IV and Trapping I-IV within four hours time. Use the speed craft macro first for survival I-IV, making a better camp when you can, and for trapping, make ALOT of glow juice traps. I MEAN ALOT. And just keep using them against a target.

I don't know if you can with the blueleaf temple for trapping exp but you can try, and yes I have a 3rd party program for afk crafting, if you want that please have aim and pm so I can get yours, cause it is very hard and long to explain.

There is no such thing as a SWG Trainer, you cannot hack the servers, unless you actually use the servers. It is a MMORPG, which means you don't have the saves, the server does, so no trainers work, sorry.;

Master Jedi-Jedi Padawan Exploit(confirmed working)

1. become master jedi(or dark master jedi) 2. go up to a friend and get the radial menu up u will notice a sign that says 'make padawan' 3. haha u just made ur friend a jedi padawan that now serves under U be glad i just got a VERY good exploit but hopefully they wont fix it (prays to god)

this is the way to make trainers, and trainers don't work with this kind of game... If you have 1000 cr for example, and change the amout to 2000, you'll see 2000, but the game still know that you have in fact 1000 cr. Try to tip 1500 cr , the game will tell you that you haven't got enough money.

1.find krayts at krayt graveyard on tatooine
2. fight them ALONE
3. u should get 234,000 xp keep doing this to get 1mil xp

WARNING!!!!: krayts r hard so if u REALLY ABSOLUTLEY have to use peeps then have at least 2 with u making the total split of 3 which should give u....78,000 or if u have 1 with u making it a total of 2 peeps thats...117,000
work out the math right and u should have 1mil jedi exp in 5-10 hours

Cloud your credit dupe doesn't work, coz in fact you just can change the display of credits. The real variable is server side.

I had the same problem trying to freeze my HAM stats, the display was full health but I got incap all the same.

ok erasing time then..ok well then we have narrowed it down to 1 exploit Master jedi-jedi padwan and that definitly works its in the files so to all those master jedi's who want a padawan go search for a good 1 not some scumbag who will strike u down during training (...dark jedi)

Master Jedi-Padawan Jedi (how to do it)

1. become master jedi
2. click radial menu of a charcter u want to become padawan
3. click 'make padawan'
4. TA-DA!!! u just made a padawan

but choose wisely your padawan as if u dont u will harshly regret it they will strike u down during training dont get these types (...dark jedi types they r) so yea do this in a neat way like a friend who u kno isnt power hungry like most peeps r

Space-expansion data coming in through patches

yes thats right the data for the space expansion pack is coming into ur game
aparently they r inserting that data in for when u get the expansion basically
they r forcing u to get the expansion (i mean i wouldnt mind i think space travel
is pure AWESOMEAGE!!!!! but forcing u now thats down right mean...lol) but yea
no new updates in the exploit department trying to research mostly the ris armor
and how to item dupe cause i think ther is a way to do that just not sure wat u have
to do it does invovle the serial number but how u get it in ur inventory im not sure

Blood god the toolbarSlot00 means that the macro is looped, you need to put it in the first row.

ok first to find the space expasion files i looked in patch 05 and its in ther somewhere cant remember but it says space and something after that i think they r just sending in data to construct outer space whilest we wait for the expansion to come out...

*.iff *.tab *.stf ... all the files found in the "string" category. This way I have the complete list of badges, the words said by trainers (even jedi, and RIS armor) and all the jedi spam and all the system messages. Btw I found that during the Act III all rebels will be able to consume Dead Eye Spice, it improves aim at the loss of health if I can remember correctly.

And others files can be opened via 3D Studio Max. (.dds textures etc..)

hey it can be possible, when you unlock your slot the client either :

- send a command to the server.
- add an address in your client.

Don't really know how it works but it's interesting.

I remember a dev or a csr told me that you could find which prof you have to master, very easily, so you could create and recreate your character until you have the easiest prof to grind. I'm trying to find the profs but I'm pretty sure it's all serverside...

Hmm I'm trying to modify some files in a tre, this way I could force the server to create a jedi character without unlocking the slot. But I need to find a way to insert the modified file in the .tre, which I can't.

ah ok here is an idea i think around the web ther is an encoding wich the swg .tre files use u MUST and i stress the must produce teh files u want than encode it with that certant encoding but BEWARE this is called client hacking and can lead to serious penaltiez but i can teach u Xunkar

1. get the encode which the devs use with the .tre files

2.get the file u want to change

3.save it then...

4.change wat u want than...

5.put it into a zip file

6.then rename the zip file to a .tre file then...

7.encode the .tre file

8.take out the .tre file that u changed thats still in the swg folder and put it in a different folder out of swg

9. insert YOUR swg .tre file

10.to see if it worked open the program up and if it starts to optimize it then its not right if it doesnt optimize it then YAHOO!!!! it worked

cd key u might want to search google for an swg key but in order for the 2nd account to work remember u need to pay for that as well which u MIGHT be able to bypass with a little configuring but in other news i found a program which can create and extract .tre files and this program was made especially for swg unfortunatley the site is down but ill post the file

serverside eh? hm might be the only other way to counter that is by hitting /up while in game it transforms ur char. into data and then ur able to send it to other servers try doing that and then putting it on test center

"Hacking" packets is not anything like hacking into somebody's computer. You are editing information being sent to and forth from your own computer, therefore it is technically your own information as is the server's. If this was anything on par of a federal offense then there would be many game trainer makers in prison right now. Sure Sony doesn't like it because they don't want cheaters in their game, but the government wont even look at you for it unless your causing harm to the servers, IE: Crashing them, flooding them, or anything else like that.

exactly now i will explain to everyone wat process we r using this program and which direction me and powerloaf r going to go in well first

1. try and search out a credit dupe through the packet hacking system

2. if that works then...exp dupe through packet hacking system

3. then..finding a way to replace the items u have with the items u want (u may want to stock ur inventory with useless items then u can change values to get certain items by replaceing the ones u have cant seem to GET the items through any other means)

4. now if the above item dupe works then maybe an item duplication dupe then finally....

5. an INFINITE H A M dupe (this is at the last cause this one involves ALOT of work remember u can hack anything as long as its in your reach but first up for grabs is MONEY CHING$$$CHING$$$$)

btw i got an email yesterday from somone on these broads ( not any of whom that like me)

All of the things discussed here are VERY interesting. But I think you're missing out on the point of Star Wars galaxies. It's an experience, an online life.

I personally believe there is more fun to be had by roleplaying than by hacking and making your character powerful.

This doesn't mean I'm antihax, just I think that something's lost by cheating in this game.

Just a note, the hacking penalties mentioned arent entirely true, it's unlikely you'll be fined or jailed if your hacking is not malicious or contravining some form of military privacy.

Listen up everyone I have sucessfully done the Packet Hacking Exploit Cloud helped spark. I couldn't of done it w/o that email cloud lol, thanks alot. ANyway I DIDNOT get an email from SOE and THANK GOD. I think its becuase I use a dymanic IP and it changes ever so often. I timed it right and once they sent the packet my IP changed so they couldnt track it to me. Of course if they actualyl looked at the packet they could see it was me but it wouldnt be automatic like it was for cloud since it changed. Anyway I did a simple mission and it was like a 500 credit mission and I changed it to 5000. No i didnt do anything big I prob wont attempt it again until cloud comes up with a surefire way to avoid SOE. (By the way i used a buddy key i got from a friend so no harm to me even if they caught me) Great job cloud!

Ok well Cloud already gave you a pretty good explanation but there is one peice of informatin your missing. Unless you somehow aquire a SWG Packet Encryption Program that will decode them we cant always read the packets. Most of the time the packets are garbled useless info and others they are quite clear. Its hard to explain. Sorry.

This file is called upon character creation, to load all the items for a jedi of all species. Do whatever you want with it.

I found another file much more interesting. When you create an artisan for example, the game loads the file profession_defaults_artisan.iff. So I managed to change the file so that when you create an artisan the game creates a jedi. But I need to put the hacked .iff into the .tre but it's too hard for me sorry :P

you know there are "exceptional" and "legendary" loot items in the game, with far better dmg values than the usual items.

more dmg -> more xp

so my idea is, to have a program that just alters the outgoing dmg packets, by a multiplier of eg. x10 - that way u would get 10times the xp, and could level more easily by far, plus it should be a PITA for SOE dedecting it...

Here how the items work in SWG :

All the textures/models/sounds/animations/datables/strings etc... are stocked Client Side. But when you receive an item, or create one, the client looks in the .tre and the object's ID is sent to the server, the server create an instance of the object in your inventory, which is Server Side.

So you can modify anything you want in SWG but you'll be the only one to see it. Example :

If you have a Composite Armor. And you want to have a Mandalorian Armor. Then you can change one file in the .tre which will call the texture of the Mandalorian, but will send the ID of the Composite Armor. So you'll have a Mandalorian Armor, but it'll be an illusion, because you are wearing a Composite.

The devs aren't that dumb rawr69! :)

i ld'd and lost ALL the items i had had during the short time i played b4 the link dead occured.. so i send a customer ticket and a gm replyed a 2days later saying there were some kind of server side character saves wich would be if the gm didn't say craps (wich i'm not sure heh) a PRETY nice place to seek for exploit unfortunately the easiest non programming thing to do would be deleting items instead of creating some but don't we say "anything done can be undone ?" :p still i'm somehow friendly with c++ but total newbish at packet editing (i said editing heh not reading, who can't use ethereal these days)

2. put in text:

ok listen up peeps it seems things have been going quite slow so im going to open up a new project for cheating in SWG involving Packet Hacking, yes i kno we tried this stunt once but it didnt work but now that i think we could do it im asking all Programmers familiar with packets to help in this

Cloud's 2 clients tip works great here. Thanks cloud. Think about it, if you have two clients running the same char, you're going to get 2x the XP! fact! If you play the game for an hour you will get the XP for a 2 hour game providing you do the same stuff with each char. Side note : why not install a secondary mouse and get a friend to mirror your moves etc.


re: Packets.

You should probably install Linux on a 2nd machine on a LAN connected to the net through a router. Then its a simple matter of using what's called a packet catcher. Is the packet catcher's job f catching ALL packets both to and from the client & server and storing the data in a **** off big file. Play the game for 5 minutes. Trust me 5 minutes of play is gonna generate 1x hell of a lot of packet data. yuou may then tweak your packets at will before sending the lot right back to lucas' servers.

I hear that Cloud.. I'm lucky as I have my own LAN... I have 3x windows PC and 1 linux. With your tip I have loaded SWG on all 3 of my windows machines twice. So that's 2 x 3 = 6. 6x more XP! With a cleverly crafted macro I can sit back and just watch the XP roll in.

I've been reading this thread with interest, cloud's message about Jedi's padowin option on radial menu was very interesting. Since this has now been confirmed by a JEDI, with a bit of research it has lead me to create a simple macro exploit. As anyone hit by one of the viruses in OUTLOOK knows, scripts (Macros to swg guys) shouldn't be allowed to be sent as attachments. We can exploit this in swg by sending macros via the attachment feature through lucas' own in game email!! I'm sure this will be stopped ASAP! All you need to do to is email a known Jedi with the following macro attached

There's no exploit with the Jedi Master / Padawan. It's the normal way for the master to earn App XP, everyone thinks that's is buggued but in fact the master need to find an apprentice. hehe

From what I've read, that only allows you to run more than one copy of SWG at a time - it doesn't let you run the same character on the same server at the same time (that'd be impossible, there would be two of you on the same server).

If you have 2 accounts though (2 different keys), you can log in as one, then load up SWG again and log in as the other, and have 2 different characters on the same server at the same time.

Hell even with 1 account you could play on two different servers at one time.

Multi-Slice Exploit

Take a weapon and start slicing in normal fashion. Cut the first wire. Do not cut the second yet. At this point you have cut the negative or positve wire with one left. Now right on the weapon your slicing in your inventory and bring up the radial (you should also add a damage powerup to your weapon for an increase in the slice). Now you have your slice menu up and the radial up for the weapon.

***Please note , i can't remember which one but you need to click on the next wire your cutting on the first slice menu. Don't worry because you won't screw it up, but you just won't advance til you click on the first slice menu.

Now what you need to do is click slice on the new radial from your inventory and then hit enter (which advances your first slice menu) at the same time. Its really no brainer and you get two slices at once.

Enjoy and try not to get banned.

Perhaps the moment they do the buddy keys again, I can grind a smuggler fast and do the necessary stuff with him.

Hey, I've been following this thread and I'm wondering if you have anything new on the Jedi profession yet. Not necessarily how to become a Jedi instantly since SOE would find you and probably ban you right away, but is there any way of knowing what profession (or "path") that you have to follow in order to be able to become on in the first place? I remember someone mentioned this earlier in the thread but I haven't seen any news on it since then.

I get a wuk out, then a laser knife, I rightclick my weapon and click slice, then I analyse with the wuk. I cut the wire that the wuk proposes, I highlight the "cut the other wire" thing, then I rightclick the weapon again and click slice again, but then it says I'm already slicing.... Have also tried rightclicking and at the same time entering but nothing.

Does anyone know the multislice method? Not the double slice method, but I method rumored to allow 4 slices or more. I've seen evidence that there is a currently working method, and heard it has something to do with storing the gun during the slice process.

dancing/music in 2-4 days max WoOt!!!! yeah first thing go to coronet well this is on starsider server anyways im sure its the same for all but there is like 150 people in there dancing or playing music so

try and join the biggest group and dance/play music away then when you get to where you need healing xp bad get a few of your friends get 4 at least and if you dont have 4 friends in this game you have a problem

go to your/there house and have them clone for you by using a macro with this in it

by doing this you clone your self and get wounds and BF as if you cloned but make sure your stats are not migrating or you will die foreal and clone with wounds to where you cant get up unless someone drags you outside and heals you hehe any problems just tell me

oh and by the way if you use a exploit keep it to yourself in game dont go around saying hey i can slice my gun 6 times thats how exploits get fixed so keep it here in the forums and to people you trust ty cause im tired of exploits getting fixed right when i figure them out

I don't think this works anymore, becuase I took the options.cfg file delted teh contents and renamed it, put what you said to put in there saved it... BUT when ever i try to log on the second time my first characters Loses connection

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone knows of this key stroke program that I'm looking for.

I basically need a third-party program that inputs certain key strokes at certain times (like hitting enter every 25 minutes, then wait 10 seconds and hit F1, then keep up the pattern, just incase I get d/ced from SWG while I'm macroing overnight). when i was still playing swg (so boring) i was using Hot keyboard pro, wich one allows you to make perfect real time recording of the Mouse AND keyboard events and loop them as manytimes as u want

basicaly after a few tries u could find a good macro for macroing any crafting skill (wich are the most orrible to raise by hand)

that's how i got doc skills up in no time :)

The artisan macro no longer works as it needed you to keep the mission terminal open over 1024m away and for you to be able to refresh the mission list the latter being fixed in a recent patch.

Basicly with your configuration u need to goto the options in the launch pad , and disable vertex pixel shadder, also u should probally run the game at 800*600, but no more then 1024*768, this will alow you to keep the the game at a good pase....btw SWG is locked at 30 fps, u can never go over that

Honestly your going to need 512 mb's of ram, and the only way to stop the lag is to disable the vertex shader's. For some reason in this game the vertex shader doesnt work like other games. Also upgrade to a 128 mb card if u can. And no you cannot unlock the fps with any tweaks its all on SOE's servers


Oh btw it its locked at 30 fps to reduced server lag, because everything is generated from the server and sent to your computer, the higher fps means the faster they will need to send you creatures and everything else, IE u will need more bandwith... I know your probally thinking well it wont hurt the server if i have it over 30fps( if you found a away) BUT what if EVERYONE had it over 30 fps the whole entire server would be bogged down

Hey guys.. is there a working credit dupe/bug/exploit as of 4/16/04? I know this is probably the most asked questioned but its also the one thats never answered. Every publish thats come out, there's always a comment in the release notes that states "Fixed credit dpe exploit" or something to that extent.

Basically im tired of being poor and reading about players making 8mil to 150 mil using exploits like the artisan mission one after the fact ... i guess im bitter that i always find out about credit dupes after the have been fixed by the devs

Don't waste your skill points on Creature Handler. Get something for good defences or combat. With my sword and pistol I can knock out your pet and death blow you before you can yell out your attack command. As a note, I was once a master Creature Handler.

I HAVE FOUND A HACK FOR SWG!!!!!!

Ok, this is the first hack I have found for SWG...it is a speed hack, and it is a third party program (u use at ur own risk)!

It speeds up everything, but will kicks u back a few meters if u don't do short (1 to 3 second) bursts. If you enter attack it will most likely freeze (because the server says how fast u shoot, and the client and the server won't agree and freeze)!

Hey well i'm new to these forums but anyways I was reading just wanted to point out a few things here.

A. No such thing as a master jedi yet. its bugged having a 4/4/4/4 guardian i've asked 3 or 4 csr's about this and they won't give it to you even though all you need is the 620 ap xp to get master. So pretty much nobody knows but I highy highly doubt you can make anyone a padawan otherwise when it happens the entire servers will be jedi.

Another thing I wanted to point out is that getting jedi xp you cannot solo krayts even if you wanted to. as your normal character you can but jedi suck pretty bad really. At least up until around jedi knight. Also krayts only give 4000xp not 200k xp. So anyways just wanted to point out some things. If anyone has some questions about pvp, pve, or anything I know allot about the game other than some of the crafting.

Also some get rich quick schemes if you guys want them.

Also I play on Lowca server if you play there or make a new character send me a tell. Make sure you tell me your from these forums though I get quite allot of tells.

I use this macro :

toolbarslot00 == slot where you have the macro icon, count start from 0, if u put the macro in 12 slot, write "..Slot13; "
if u want harvest instead of loot use /harvest meat|hide|bone;
attack-pause-peace .. this is because you can sometimes target monster thats too far.
the system of attack, pause 10 second and then peace.. is like "skip if you dont kill mob in 10 second" .. modify the time for your needs.

btw > if u are meleer put on 2. line /follow; pause 10; ..and then attack..etc..
becase your meeleer need time to get to near creature for kill


btw can anybody past here some macro for making stimpacks-a ? or some tricks how to make money fast ? any bugs..exploits..

Actually the whole apprentice thing is true the problem just like everything else in swg they havent implemented it in just yet.

and that whole krayt thing USED TO BE in beta, at the time i had never solo'ed a krayt and thought that the xp amount would have been a lot higher. Also that xp amount came from one of my strat guides, that said the amount was 200k+ from now i dont listen to my strat guide since they capped the xp amount u can take in. so really the krayts would have given u 200k but since the xp cap in like patch 1, u cant get 200k which really sux would have made grinding prof. a whole lot easier, plus fun.

I mean there's already thousands of Jedi now, and since the FS system is being made easier it just doesn't seem possible that the Devs would double their number of Jedi... they are changing the fs system soon. Its not a good idea to start grinding for jedi now. It just takes to long you wont be done until the new system comes.
