I Need some scripts and a scripting tutorial for quake engine

Do oyu have any good?i know how to script,i make some usefull scripts for raven shield much players use,but i dont know how to write in quake 3 engine

Move scripts, name scripts, server setup configurations etc.

I dont know whats posible with Quak3 scripts,But Saber or Force Scrips would be cool

Well I have posted a simple script pack (contains the 3 most requested scripted moves...well the 3 moves ppl ask me for ingame anyway, kick, blue uppercut and yellow dfa).

In reply to your edit ANON, I haven't posted any JKA scripts since its not that difficult to do the moves, however here are some just for you :classic:;

Replace the ? with your own key.

Kata (all stances and sabers);
/bind ? "+attack; +altattack"

DFA (death from above, yellow and red air-moves single saber, also makes you do a couple of moves with the staff and two sabers, as well as the cartwheel with all sabers);
/bind ? "+moveup; +forward; +attack"

Uppercut (blue stance move, single saber);
/bind ? "+movedown; +forward; +attack"

Backflip Slash thingy mabobem (saber staff);
/bind ? "+moveback; +moveup; +attack"

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Here's the all the scripts in a .cfg for you (remember to open the cfg in notepad or something and change the ? to whatever key you want them bound to);



I'd also be willing to help you with any scripts if you need help, I'm only familiar with scripting in JK2/JKA though.


Btw, i noticed in the mod thread about someone recommending me and saying I made a couple of simple hacks, I haven't made any hacks, I simply posted n7's JKA OGL hack, I've only made scripts for the JK2/JKA Games. Plus the forum already has 2 other mods, and I'm sure vin will be back eventually (if he isn't already). So I'm flattered but I don't know if I'm qualified, though I wouldn't say no if asked...lol.
