Ballhack/Cubehack explain pls

I've read the thread with all the hacks and i saw some that had a ballhack. could someone please explain to me what it exactly is. i searched for it but couldn't find a clear answer to my question.

a ballhack is a ball/sphere thats located on the body of the player or above the player which can be seen through walls. cubehack is the same except it's a box. understand now?
