You to :) :).
Nope there arent any public working hacks for it where I know off,but tell me you like the game?I played it deinstalled it already after an hour and gave the game to my friend(who I beleive gave to another friend to again)the game is no fun at all,no real sp mode.Just bots vs bots and you and it one of them most stupid bots I have ever seen.

You're right about SP, it is crap (just botmatches, a bit like UT on the Xbox), been online with it and its quite good (though not really enough maps imo). Its like BF1942 but set in the Terminator universe.

The AI of the singleplayer bots is ridiculous lol, all they do is run back and fourth, without defending the bases or anything. They could've done alot more with the singleplayer (maybe they'll release an expansion that adds a proper singleplayer mode).

So no public hacks :bored: , what about any private hacks you'd be willing to share (if you know of any...)?

Wow, you can tell they really put alot of thought in to this game...

If you extract weapons and the files for the team classes, you can edit their values, and the values remain even if you join a server that doesn't have the edited files since all the information for ammo, damage etc is all stored client side, effectively allowing you to have unlimited ammo. One thing about editing the files though is that sometimes you can bugger your game. Also you might find this easier if you understand Hungarian or whatever language the comments have been written in.

To edit the files .option files;

Rename game.cod to game.rar (or .zip).

Open game.rar with winrar.

Find the folder & files you want to modify & extract them.

Open the files in a text editor (I use Notepad) and edit them as much as you like.

Rename Language.cod to Language.rar, then add the edited files to the language.rar (ensure that the files are placed in to their correct folder paths, for example language.rar -> weapons -> DesertEagle).

Rename Language.rar back to .cod and then place the language.cod in to your game directory.

You might want to backup your game.cod and language.cod files before doing this btw.

For those of you seeking to add a more realistic terminator feel to the game (by having the weapons, and armour values modified to be more realistic) should download a mod called Boom Mod (look for it at the Official Atari Forums), its not a cheat mod, its more of a "community patch" until Atari releases an official patch.

There seems to be some confusion on the net about this game  . So to clear things up, the method of cheating by modifying files is for Atari's FPS: TERMINATOR 3: WAR OF THE MACHINES. As far as I know WotM is ONLY out on the PC atm and its unlikely it will be released on the consoles (though an xbox release might happen eventually...).
Some people seemed to think I was on about TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES, this is NOT a PC fps, it is a CONSOLE arcade style action game. The difference between the two is that Rise of the machines is singleplayer, and has a storyline to it, as well as being based mainly in present day time. War of the Machines is a MULTIPLAYER game based mainly in the future.

Any other questions about the game feel free to ask, since Atari aren't very much help (is it just me or does Atari release a game, and then forget about it?).

Then still they could have given a better marketing company about it.

Any working T3 (PC) hacks yet? I am assuming it is easy via t-search but haven't reinstalled the game yet since my last cheating exploits screwed my OS.

Using tsearch won't work, the info is mostly kept server side. If you want unlimited ammo, scroll up a bit and follow the very short tut i put. Find the weapons you want to edit the ammo value for and change it to whatever you want. You can also edit the damage values, but be warned, increasing them ONLY AFFECTS YOUR GAME, it won't affect anyone elses. This means you go online with...say a Desert Eagle, and you've increased the dmg of it to like 3,000, when ppl use their pistols on you, it does 3,000 dmg, but when you use it on them it does the standard dmg rating. I think this might work in reverse as well...
