View Full Version : Is it harder to cheat in CS 1.5?

I was using Metacheat 4.71 on a CS 1.5 server for about three hours, and I got banned from all secure servers running CS 1.5 for the next 5 years. I decided to try the same hack on CS 1.6 servers using steam. I thought what do I have have to lose? I have been using Metacheat, OGL 2.7, and a few others on and off again for the last 10 days with no problems at all. So now I am wondering, do these steam/Vac proof cheats only apply to steam/CS 1.6? The read-me's that come with these cheats claim that they work with CS 1.5, 1.6, and they do, but maybe they are only un-detected in CS 1.6.

Could anyone shed some light on this subject? Are there un-detected cheats for CS 1.5?

Thanks!

alot of cheats r detected in cs 1.5, so yea I think ur theory is right, that most cheats r udnetected in steam, even though they update steam like every week... But you'd have to ask the experts, theyll answer...
