I don't think black is possible as a saber colour mate.

You have to make it a color with a mod. simple just look in the assets.pk3 and edit a few files

yeah as in like just a black saber...no mods etc...don't care if its client side only

Unfortunately, as I said before, its not possible. You would have to do what geM said and create or download a mod to use a black saber colour.
