BF:VIETNAM is just a ploy by EA. its almost like a standalone mod, which allows them to charge 50-odd dollars for it. Which doesnt mean, of course, that it wont kick ass..... and that i wont buy it.... :)

It's a crappy thing to do by making it standalone so they can make more $$, but I will most likely buy it anyway. :\

they cant make it an expansion bc its not in 1942, like the game says, its in the 60s

I will buy both BFV and Soldner.... I think they both look good. Vietnam will have alot of new features in gameplay, and a revamped and improved rendering engine. The grapichs and foliage issue will be improved along with having destructable trees and even grass that flys up when you drive on it. It's also going to have customizable characters and boobie traps.... I am definetly getting it.
