As for wannabe programmers, since we manage to bypass every anti-cheat i'd say we were pretty good. Better than the a/c coders at least.

If you play Survivor mode a lot, then you know about stair whoring in Verloc. When I'm Runner I can never get under those stairs to get those pesky humans. If you play around with the wallwalk, you sometimes can squeeze through, but by that time, you're blasted away already :dead:.

I saw this player in the game who had a Runner that can just slip under the stairs with ease, just like the other aliens can.

I ask him about it and he actually emailed this file to me for the asking :).

Now I don't have to feel like less:inv: of an alien in Verloc :devious:.

So I didn't make this simple mod, but I'm hosting it on a free website. As with most free websites, it has a bandwidth usage limit, so it might get suspended temporarily if the limit is triggered. Just check back in an hour if this happens.

If someone thinks the file is worth it, perhaps they can host it somewhere.

It only corrects that one particular flaw in the game, which only comes up in Verloc in Survivor mode, if a survivor chooses to "stair whore" and you are a Runner mutant.

It's like carrying a crowbar in a car trunk, you'll rarely ever use it, but if a situation comes up, you'll be glad you brought it :tnpe: :box: :p.

So do you want a Runner who can hunt anywhere :ww: or do you want to be handicapped against "stair whores"? :hurt:... ok then ;).

P.S. - Yes you can join any server with it, it's treated like a skin.

I've been reading nearly all the AvP2 Threads and it amuses me every time i'll pass this forum =).

Introduce myself:

Though i'm not really a hacker (i never learned C++ or some of the other wonderful and mighty languages, i forget the syntax too often ;)), i am partially used to the editing of AvP2 (modding).

I am a member of one of the last german AvP2 Communities but i won't tell w1 because the of consequences. (I love AvP2, i don't want to ruin it).

Maybe u are asking yourself now what am i searching in here then? - Well, i'm keen on learning how games work.

Ok, ok enough shit of me ;), now lets set some facts about Avp2!

1. misunderstanding of REZ Files in association with Multiplayer.

MRB noticed correctly: REZ Files are archives used by the Lithtech Engine. They contain lot of attribute files you can edit.

Note: Editing these files affect ONLY your Server. They are client-side, u won't be able to join a server which has different attribute files!

2. Tsearch & RAMCheat and all the RAM Haxxor progs:

I tried them too, with different results. It works client-side, not server-side. Cheating this way is impossible on protected stand-alone servers (in AvP2).

I saw (like some of the guys in here before) just 1 or 2 guys who really used a AIMBOT, SPEEDHACK(+JUMPHACK) and VISIONHACK. He called himself [SwissSK] Diablo and jumped 30 meters high while constantly doing headshots.

It was the newest Patch 1.0.9.6 so he must have used a scriptconsole or exe prog to override either the build-in attributes file protection or he used somekind of packetsender trick. (i guess)

I can prove that he used these hacks because i made screenis while he was in "action".

You are telling us that a patch is/was made for it? When should that be exactly? Patch 1.0.9.6 is 2 years old now and there won't be a new patch i guess, do you even know what u are talking about?


It would be really interesting to talk to a real SKILLED Scripter or a hax0r who has more experience on multi-player games especially suggestions how to try to defeat AvP2 Multiplayer Files check.

Gorok i know EXACTLY how rez files work and i know how to use tsearch and have have seen some 1 do aimbot cheating on the 1096 avp2 several times because I have that version ok? an aimbot CAN be made if you know what you are doing, another AVP2 player has showed me that with proof.

Ok i tought about it and you could be right, but there is still one little problem you know.

Memory adresses change every time a game is created so there must be some kind of reverse engineering.
You'll need the assembly and find the code which pops up the right string for u to know where the memory adress hides. I tried that but you can't cheat a T3 Server if the hacks are server-side.

So the aimbot must be done client side only.

The aimbot is not the thing what makes game hacking funny.

It would be cool to hack the server to use some of the more interesting features on avp2.

Imagine a Marine being pouncing like an alien *lol*.

I thought about it quite for a long time now and the only way to make a hack like this would be to tell the server protection that your attrib files are in order!
You must fake the server.
I know that before version 1.0.9.6 joining servers with hacked attrib files WAS POSSIBLE! In this case they must have build in some protection in as it is described in one of the patch readme files: "Made the file detection more thorough" (like this).

My thoughts are: that if you were a skilled programmer, you could make a loader or somethin' which could activate your hacked attrib files by a module AFTER u joined a server!

It would be very funny to try this out. Maybe the server would be able to detect it within game but maybe not....very interesting...:bunny:

All this is CLIENT-SIDE, it WORKS on EVERY server, no matter if stand-alone or hosted!

What i did: I told you i'm not a skilled programmer but i managed to mod preds vision modes and especially his last one where he can see his fellas...usually marines and aliens could't be seen in this mode but i changed this :D
Now there are no stupid lines now, cleared vision *harr* *harr*
-Marine Vision is cleared now as well.

i have that skin a very smart guy called player_mrb created those skins he replaced the overlays like being on fire, the lines, etc with things that are less intrusive which is good.
i reckon the 'interference effect' you get when cloaked and using your masks special visions is just ornamental and does not have an effect on the fariness of the game.
So well done to mrb for these useful vision overlay mods! about time too lol.

Yes it is correct, it's passive only, so you won't call that a hack, but it makes you see better in some way so its a game quality matter.

All of the mrb visions work for you?

-For me the "on fire" overlay is a completely black screen, with the "You're On Fire" message flashing at the top.

-The alien "nav vision" completely "whites out".

-The marine "night vision" glares too much when using the pulse rifle.

No one's ever mentioned these issues, so I guess it's just my graphics card drivers or some setting or whatever :lick:, oh well.

Just to clarify, yeah the alien "nav vision" is suppose to show everything in like a white filter, but with the mrb visions, it's a completely blank white screen. So with the "on fire", "alien nav vision", & firing the pulse in "night vision", I'm completely blind, so I can't use that mod.

I personally don't use anything of mrb's work.

I created my OWN "vision mods".

Therefor i can't tell anything about his workout, in my mod everything works perfectly. for the last pred vision-mode i did create some new skin arrangement so aliens and humans are much better to see.

In all other vision modes no skins were needed, just overlay tweaking, like in the marine night vision.

@Pop_G: Just overlays are eliminated, so pulse rifle will blend you and alien vision will remain in full bright...it is not your driver my friend ;)

have your shoulder lamp on helps to see running preds, NV and shit grfx card helps to see camping/crouched preds; also some guy in here a while back was saying he had a .rez file to see camping preds-have a look around i'm sure the thread is still here somewhere

Cant you post a link to a site or so what has it,usaly we only upload files bigger then 200kb if it are cheats.

this is not a cheat or a hack if you read my post you see I mentioned its the avp2 source code .
and it is 12mb zip file size and there is no website for it to link to this source code is on my hard drive and before I delete for good I wanted to upload it here at mpc.
cause this will be your only avp2 source code you will ever get for download.
no one else will add it to any other site or any place else for download at all.
so either find away from me to upload it to the server for every one or within 15 days top I give it it will be deleted for good.
this source code can help the game hackers here that know how to code in C++ and D3d to make cheats for avp2 .
with out it you wont get to far in creating hacks for avp2.

No cause I will not pay to have a ftp server or a website hosting just to have this avialable for download.

yes Visual Basic 6.0 you can use to compile the source code it says it in the readme file for instructions on how to compile it.
you can also use Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003.
that tool can do many more things then Visual Basic 6.0
well I tried going to geocities.com for a free website hosting to just make a page for the download process of the source code .
but to upload files there as well it limit
is 5mb so thats out of the question.
and I am not about to pay for a website hosting just to have this file for download thats just out of the question.
and for me to split the files up in to groups of zip files would take time to do and it would also take up alot of the forums space here as well.
and I dout the owner of the forums of mpc would not like that very much at all.
now the files unzip is alot larger to so make sure you have enough disc space if you guys want the source code post a message on here and I will give you my msn or icq # and see if I can send the file in a winzip format to you.
and to under stand the source code make sure you know some thing about C++ and d3d programing.
cause the game was coded in d3d .

O' by the way I found a new tweak for winxp to speed up your disk perfromance and your apps perfromance as well too.
its not a program its just some thing you all can do.
its the checked in index service on your harddrive in properties.
if you uncheck that and have it apply to all your subfolders and apps as it ask if you wanna do.
just click ok and then let it do its business.
then after say I beleive 45 minutes to an hour it has completed its course.
you will notice your hard drive runs faster and your apps popup quicker too.
thats just a small usefull tip I found on the net.

who here wants a supper debuger program called softice I got it to work for xp now.

Here guys for who wants to dowload softiceNT for use on windows 9x + WinNT + XP.
The winzip file contants the seiral number + Driver patch for it to work.

no the softiceNT debuger lets you search for the address and values in any game or app you have it can also be used to crack passwords and stuff too.
you set breakpionts on in the game to BPM <address> RW
this will watch what memory is being written in the game or apps you got.
then after using the app or game for a few minutes if softice see's any memory being written or excuted duren the process of you running it.
it will pop up.
and show you were that address is being located at and with code on type in softice you can see the memory values besides the asm opcodes in the debugger.
now this tool is more advanced then Tsearch but the two used together can be very usefull.
see Tsearch searchs for memory your pc uses and runs with other apps.
softice more less focuses on the one program your debugging so you only get that memory from that application or game and not from any thing else.
and theres another usefull tool I have too.
its call OllyDbg this is another debugger that can also dissemble your apps or games in the process of the tool.

this is the first avp game patch so you can use it on win98 and win ME and it does work on winxp too.

I can not seem to upload any files to here and this file the avp win98 patch was only 1.99mb a small file size.

well I made one using Tsearch to find the memory values for the smartgun autotargeting and it did lock on and move your crosshair but not like it works in normal game mode for smartgun autotargeting crosshair.
mostly it moved your weapon in the direction of the target and it did not work 100 % of the time which in memory patching not all the time the memory will keep its current patched memory.
so it is tricky.
and there was one down fall to it.
I could not share it with some else cause when using tsearch to find the memory it also connects with other memory being processed on your hard drive.
so there for say I go and save the trainer to a CD and then format my hard drive okay, you guys fallowing me so far ?
well if I format my HD and try to use the same trainer again that I got from tsearch memory debugger.
I would not be able to use it again cause my systems memory has changed sence my last operating system was installed.
that why I am trying to use softiceNT to debugg the game memory cause softice is more an advanced debugger and it focuses more on the application or game app more then your systems memory so it targets only the applications memory only not your entire system memory like Tsearch does.
and also I was more less trying to get some one to either help me or work with me on creating a multi player hack using the avp2 source code.
like doing dll injection or some thing more.
and the old saying of two head work better then one.
well if some one else knows how to code in C++ or in Masm32 or both and work with me on this project.
we might actualy be able to create some thing usefull for the game hacking community for avp2 and pH.

its not going to happen over night.
we'r not even sure which steps yet we are going to use to make it.
we could do memory patch exe hook client to the game.
we could also use revers engineering too.
I have gotten the being process started so far by finding the correct memory to be used.
for memory patching and revers engineering.
then theres the dll injection method.
or creating a new client to hook to the game it self .
which I believe is the method GU Striyker mike did with his hack.
but then again when I use to chat with him he had more then one story going on about his.
first he says he made the hack then he says he didnt make that its avp2 monlith debugger program.
then he changes his story back to that he made the hack him self.
so I believe he was trying to confuse me on the method he used to create his hack.
but any way back to the main topic at hand.
I tryed out the memory I have for the Avp2:PH version for sg to be used with all weapons.
Now as it is for now it does work but still not just like in game play using smartgun this is just poking the memory address to see if it is good and can be used with out any crashing or lagging involed.
now I have to fair warn you all I am on a T1 Business line and I have dual lan cards to speed up my bandwidth and surfing speed .
so in 90% of the server I have a low ping even if Im far away from the game server being hosted.
so my average ping is from 69 to a bit over 100 ping.
so I hardly get any lag unless I am connected to a server running 56k or a lower badwidth cable line.
cause T1 and 56k and cable dont agree with each other 90 % of the time they congest one another and were 56k modems are on the basis of normal phone reciver method lower bandwidth.
I would get more congestion from 56k then i would from a lower DSL or cable and 56k would seem like their jumping around the maps to me.
cause their data stream is slower to my T1 or to any cable or DSL/ADSL modems.
but any way on with my story about the test memory.
It tracted all players even allies players.
and I did have to Nop a few values in the second half of the memory I found once again.
cause when I first tryed it I was able to play for about two maps then the game crashed / more less I got booted out of the game, due to unconditional memory junction.
so I NOP a few values in one of the addresses.
what I mean by NOP is change the value say FF to 90 , 90 = 0 value.
so I went back in to a server and tested it once more this time I was able to stay in the game for more then 3 maps.
and the trainer still tracked more with hardly any errors.
but I did notice it is strong and quick.
and one time when I died and respawned I had 3 bugs on me attacking me to sk me cause I was kick their bug asses in when I tryed to pull out my weapon sniper rifle I started to spin like crazzy then the bugs killed me and I was fine.
that was the only error after that I got.
now I can find the memory for normal avp2.
it will just take me a little time to do.
then I will test that set of memory needed.
now when we go int o create this hack were are only going to start out with autotargeting for now.
then once we see the hack works good after we get every thing we might add more to it later.
I just want to take one step at a time so I wont skip any thing or miss any thing major needed for the program.
but those of you whom like to try the PH memory tester version for now just reply here and tell me if you got avp2:PrimalHunt and I will post that tester for download to see if the memory works for you on your systems.
then once I know it works for most every one me and SuppaStagga can get further started on the real process of the hack.

sorry SuppaStagga I was working most of the day just got in from boston where I was down repairing some ones pc.
I just got home around 1:am from the trip.

I had to repair 6 man network of pcs and realign their network.
so it took my some time to get it all finished and drive back home.

hi every one I got new update news about the tester.
well every one knows I been trying to use the memory I found.
well I test it a few more time and well there was still some errors comming up.
one it was starten to slow down my character when running it.
then it also crashed the game again arggh.
but any way I decide to go in to creating a code cave for the memory .
it does work pretty well.
and it not lagging my character any more.
so thats a good to start with.
and it also aims at the targets more easily.
and the memory was all good.
but after say 5 to 7 maps I give it it will
crash the game.
due to memory change in the game
resetting it self.
well once I find the reign of memory that is doing that and to figure out what to change it to so it wont cash period.
and those of you who have primalhunt.
I will be posting the tester for ph soon.
for you all to test out.

well I am unsatisfied with how the process is going with it.
I found out why I been getting so much errors with it.
its the upload of the games Crc checksum protection.
it provents gamers aka programers hackers from cracking or patching the games memory code.
and I read tuts on about Crc and how to disable it.
I tryed it and I guess I coded it worng and it crashed.
there must of been another Crc address I didnt see thats hiden or some thing.
and I went to WOGH CES forums and ask for some help on cracking the memory and guess what they didnt know what the memory does I had to point out to them which was the Crc address in the memory code.
then after that I didnt see any more response back on my post about it.

their more less over there about cracking RPG games they dont have any thing up or any tutorials on cracking FPS games like avp2 at all.
they have one which was from Bug maker for the first avp game but the first avp game didnt have Crc checksum in the game to protect the game from hackers.
so that game was easy to crack years back and even if you guys got the first avp game you can still play it on xp as long as you check in to make it compatible in xp for win98 in the games icon properties.
and have the avp98 patch for it.

well I just tryed it again it crashed the crc is located every were in the game and there hiden files for crc too.
cant make out which one it is.
I have a business to run I can do this alone and it takes to much time my time is need else were thats why i came here to post the avp2 source to mostly let some else try it for awhile.
but sence I can not post the source code files here at all I guess the source code is lost to the public.
and this is getting on my nevers to much to try to crakc the games memory and keep on ediitng it it takes me about 4 hours some times longer just to get it to work a little bit then crash.

Actually the hacks super talks about are the easiest to make, and pretty much all are derived through TSearch. Truthfully this is not the "high end" of AVP2 hacking/editing, but it is a place where secrets lie, that few people have uncovered. Because few people have uncovered them, V is considered famous, but in fact, I can make each one of those hacks, in under 5 minutes. All he did was search deeper into what TSearch was capable of, beyond the aimbot potential. Yes, a lot of hacks can be made with TSearch, you just need to know the variables neccesary to make them, HOWEVER the best hacks are actually not made with TSearch, but I keep those secrets only for the people that are willing to do what it takes to achieve that effect, such as God mode, which despite popular belief, is possible. To get those secrets, you will need to directly contact me, and I will explain to you 1 on 1

See the hacks made with TSearch are memory specific, meaning one memory "address" that it finds on a compter, will be different for another computer. This is because every computer stores memory at different locations or "addresses."

TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE AN AIMBOT

PROBLEM:

AVP2 has what is called a "CRC" check process which stands for cyclic redundancy check. This is a common technique for detecting data transmission errors. Transmitted messages are divided into predetermined lengths that are divided by a fixed divisor. According to the calculation, the remainder number is appended onto and sent with the message. When the message is received, the computer recalculates the remainder and compares it to the transmitted remainder. If the numbers do not match, an error is detected. The error message in AVP2 is that you were disconnected from the server because some resources were missing.

In English(non-tech terms) this basically means it checks the Client files(the player's files) against the server files(the server host's). if there is a difference, such as you have a mod on, or you don't have the same map, it kicks you for not having the right resources.
The good thing about this, is it happens when you join. That is why there is so much lag when there are joiners, it is using the CRC. In other words, the memory while playing, is not checked throught the game, or the bandwith would be killed and you would lag a lot. This is what keeps you from editing certain game files and loading a server with them. However, they can be changed AFTER you already join the game, bypassing the CRC altogether.





SOLUTION:
You use the program known as TSearch which basically detects known or unknown changes in the game in the memory addresses, and then you can change the values to what you want.


EXAMPLE:
In a single player game, you want infinite health. You go into game and put the value of your health in, which is usually 100 for most games. It searches out all the memory addreses for the number 100. unfortuantly there will probably be about 33,000 places. So to narrow it down, you lose a bit of health, by getting hurt. Let's say, after you hurt yourself, you have 97 health left. You plugin the new number, 97, and it finds all addreses that CHANGED from 100 to 97. This will probably bring up about 4000 entries left. That is a big difference from the original 33,000. Keep repeating this process until you have 1-2 variables remaining. one of those controls the health. To make it infinite, you type in the number 100, and it auto refills your health to 100. Using another program, you can even make it repeat the adding 100 to the variable to make it infinite and not just a manual health refill.

HOW THIS PERTAINS TO AVP2:

If you open the .rez marked AVP2L.rez, you will notice many text files in a folder marked attributes. One of them is called weapons.txt. in there, you will discover that the no tracking type crosshaor is the variable 0, while the smartgun tracking variable is 3. So here is what you do to make an aimbot

MAKING AN AIMBOT:

You open the game, and goto a server that is empty. make sure you are not hosting the server, it needs to be run off another computer. Go in and switch to the marine specialtist, and get your smartgun out.
Minimize the game and open TSearch. Click the button "open process" and select lithtech.exe.

now, search for the variable, 3. you should come up with 30,000 entries, give or take. Now,maximize the game, and take out your knife. minimize again and search for the next variable, 0. then maximize again and get the smartgun out again. Repeat until you have 1 entry left.

now here comes the easy part. Write down the address it finds.
Next you will need one more program, Trainer maker kit. Trainer maker kit allows you to make a trainer and hotkey a button to activate the aimbot in game. Now i know it sucks to make a trainer design from scratch, so i'll make it simple. IM me, and i will give you a already made aimbot. All you have to do, is input YOUR memory address, and save it. Then when you go in game, press the hotkey, and any gun's crosshair will turn green, and lock onto anyone within range. You can also do this with other targetting types, such as the SADAR tracking type. If you want the variables for wallwalk, freefly mode, etc. i can give you the numbers to look for.

Now that you understand how it is different for every computer, you can see why commando 991 AKA 992's aimbots as was mentioned earlier don't work worth beans, because he asked you to download a trainer, that was specific to HIS computer. This is also why these secrets are so uncovered. What's funny, is this is the most common type of cheating out there. You all have heard of Gameshark i am sure for the consoles. That is in essence, a TSearch for the console, finding memory addreses and forcing variables. This is exactly how you get all those codes that give you unlimited health, etc. And the code is in sense the memory address and the 4 numbers on the ends are the values you force, just like the 3 attatched to the memory address of the smartgun.

Well I hope this short tutorial helped everyone understand better how AVP2 works, and how to hack it. I am not doing this for recognition, as I am capable of doing things to games, you have seen only with the best of programmers. If i wanted fame, I would have already seeked it and found it. The reason I am finally dispelling all this knowledge, is currently i think MPC is a joke. This is in no way directed to the forum itself or the admins. The reason i feel this way is simple: I am tired of Gamers saying "yes I know how to hack, but you can't have my hacks because I want to be secretive and mysterious." I feel, as I think the admins do, that this forum was created to share knowledge of hacks and hacking. How is this being accomplished if no one is willing to share that knowledge for fear of everyone getting it?

Hacking is Russian roulette with games, guys. The hackign community of any game will never be just one person, as I am sure everyone wants it to be them, that are the only one that knows how to hack a certain aspect of a game. Hacking in any shape or form will eventually kill a game. Because the reason people hack, is to gain unfair advantage over another. you left one import feature that tsearch has that I belive every one would like to know do you search in type 1 byte 2 byte 4 byte 8 byte float double which one these do you use to search for the numbers with?
cause there is that option and if you use the wrong option to do a search in tsearch you could come out with the wrong address you need for the aimbot to work.
so please specify which bytes to search in with tsearch ?
then they will get more better progress out their search in tsearch.
and also do you need to use Tsearch Autohack as well ?

cause so far I tryed you way but were you did not specify which type search to use in tsearch for 1 byte or 2 byte or 4 byte or 8 byte or float or double I did not get the correct address need for sg autoaim.

well I tried katies tut and got one address but I dont see any green crosshair going on at all !
and were she was not specific with here tut on which byte order she used to search in tsearch we wont know until she tells how every detail and which byte order she used to search in tsearch !

Dammit commando, I am here to help these people out, especially you because you have failed at every hack you have ever made. I didn't answer because I was asleep. You asked what kind of byte pattern to use. A 4 byte pattern is your answer. Think this is bullcrap? play me in game and watch me NEVER miss. As for the 33? you are totally wrong. The text = the value search. Where the hell did you get 33 from? 3 is the targeting type. Don't believe me? Ask me for a screenshot then, I'll send you one on MSN of me using it. Commando let me explain something, you have never coded anything in your life petaining to AVP2 properly, all your projects were failures. i mean, hell, you thought AVP2 used to be OpenGL when it is D3D. So you have 2 choices. You can either continue to fail at coding, or you can listen to someone for once that is actually better at programming than you, and actually find out how the hell to make an aimbot that you hzve been trying to make for a year. I figured it out in 10 minutes, you have yet to figure it out. And your rambling of 33 = 3 nonesense and calling my explaination crap? Well allow me to say that PROVES you know nothing about programming or AVP2, because anybody who has made this aimbot(quite a few people actually) knows that I am right.

It doesn't matter what operating system I am using either, I am talking about memory adresses, not the source code that you have.

oh and by the way, your source code, is about 1/8th of the full thing and it includes only the server files and DLL's for AVP2, FOR WIN32 NOT LINUX. It does not have the client files, game engine, or AVP2.exe. nor does it have any files for the Linux version, meaning nothing that you do with that source will work for linux based servers(which is the majority). They publicly released that part of the source code he has, he did not reverse engineer to derive it, and it is almost useless because:
A. most Good Ping Rented servers run on Linux and not Win32
B. It has no client files, so it would be more useful for patchers and Anti-Hack community members, than to us in the hacking community


So Commando, if you have nothing useful to say, I think it is time to finally stop trying to act cool and get attention, and let me tell these people how to really do it, instead of your failed projects and confusing, not to mention totally wrong statements.

figured it I made one of those last year for cryen out loud.
the crosshair does not turn green at all all it does is aim your entire weapon at the target there is no crosshair color values for the crosshair to turn green period the only values being poked from that is the inner portion of the memory of the smartgun the effects side of it for the crosshair to turn green is not there .
so there for you need both parts for it to turn green and work just like the smartgun.

well lets see here If the true value for it is not 33 and just number 3 thats only Tsearch terms lol.
if you use a Hex editor to see the true value of the rez files and see whats the true memory in the exe as well you see the number 3 in text is value 33 in hex terms.
all tsearch does is make it easy for beingers to type in text numbers then the true values it self the game runs on !!
the true hackers tool is Softice and softice shows more of what the game or your applications are doing in its memory then Tsearch ever cold do.
and as for me being a programer no Im not that advanced in programing games.
I do how ever cna program things for windows xp and windows 98 and ME.
but games is another story.
and I dont waste my life hacking games every day.

well show me if Im doing some thing wrong and prove to me the crosshair does trun green then I will back off and I take back every thing I said !!
cause so far I found the correct address and I also tryed to autohack it in Tsearch cause if you noticed if you use TMK 1.51
you can not type in poke 34545 3 the program shows an error and wont except it at all so the value has to be 33, but if used as 33 it crashes so I did autohack and it debugged the address and I used the TMk button to get the tmk poke address and values for it.
that worked no crashes at all but what you said the address will turn the crosshair green well that didnt happen and I also used the patched version of it too and what i got as a patched version was the marines radar pic in front of it !!
so I just used the unpatched version of it and still the crosshair didnt turn green and all it did was aim my entire weapon at the targets thats it .
it did not turn the crosshair green at all.

finally got it working in TMk fine its 03 value not 33 .

great cause TMK hotkey just is not working to well in win xp.
it would work a few times but then stop working all together.
I even try making the tmk dialog compatible

hey Katie can I use your Trainer app source for the address I found.
by the way I beleive I found the address for inifinite ammo for sniper.
I tryed it out and it poke the ammo address and locked and instead of getting 10 when I first spawn and then on I have 16 for sniper ammo.
and it only decease a bit then refills fast lol

well I think what I found for ammo was just the counter part to show it refils it self is all there is no real ammo with it cause I shot blanks.
o well I keep working on it unless some one here knows how to get infinite ammo ?

YUP a few of us have already.
but the thing is the memory we find to use cant be share with any one else due to the memory on other peoples computers is different to our own.
well it not the value memory that changes its the address value hex numbers thats not the same.
so our address on say if you had the game would not poke or patch the same address on your computer system.
our address may crash or not do any thing on your system.
thats why we all have to find our own address using tsearch to get the hacks to work for us.
I think there is away to get it to be a share program, I beleive its revers egineering.

infinite ammo for sniper only works for the counter part of the barrel.
it will not give you new ammo from server side.
all the refils of the ammo is blank ammo.
the only way to get unlimited ammo is packet editing.
unless some one else here knows away to get ammo from server with out packett editing ?

guys health and armor and ammo are all server side memory.
you need to poke the address you find plus use winsock type of trainer to send the fake packets by to get the server to give you auto refills of ammo and health and armor.
cause with out the winsock and packets of your only seeing client side barrel refills and armor and health refills is not doing any good poken them cause all your getting is the visual effects not the solid effects of the memory.
which those are all server side srry to say but it is.
the speed hacks and fly mode and visoin and smartgun and rocket launcher are all cleint side for your benfit.
the rest armor N health N ammo for multi player are server side.

well to leave off of that note.
I have a fix for those of you that have TMK and are using TMK to make a trainer with.
and are getting hotkey problems.
please check your tmk files in the folder.
search for the hotkey file or dll.
if there is no hotkey file or dll in the tmk folder then you got the copy that was a rip that some one made off the real one.
just like I have that copy too and it has files missing like hotkey file.
I have the protected version tmk 1.51 full with all files even hotkey file.
if you want the protected version of tmk please get on msn and contact me and I will send you the protected tmk version.

well go to google.com do a search for TMK 151.
you find some website hosting a download for it for free.
then do another search for Tsearch 16.
(Note) when you get TMK 151 make sure when you install it you check out the tmk folder to make sure all the files are there!.
cause there is one out there thats a rip of the real one that some one currpted and didnt add all the files to it , like hotkey and so on.
and download winrez as well.
which winrez will allow you to open up the rez file in avp2 or in avp2: Primalhunt games = rez file called AVP2L.rez.
this rez file has all the value you need for doing search with Tsearch when your in a dedicated server multi player.
some values you see in the Txt files in AVP2L.rez are 4 byte values and some are float values.
like for runspeed thats a float value.
Autotargeting values are 4 byte.
I think you can even use 1 byte for that too, not sure".
but its a tricky process.
if you want to join us in a session in one of my passworded servers to look for your own address using Tsearch your more then welcome to do so.

I'm just posting to claim credit for inventing the "freefly hack/cheat" (also known as the "no-clipping hack/cheat"), or at least knowing how to implement it.

Sorry I will not divulge on how to do it. However I will say this hack & all the hacks I use are 100% client-side, so tsearch or any similar memory scanner can pull them off.

And hacking on PC's is tricky. If I run some apps I wasn't running when I got the addresses, it throws them all off (technical term: offset). If computers were standardized hard-wired systems like game consoles, more players would have hack codes by just copying down the addresses & byte values at websites or downloading "cheat table files", like the way you can with the GameGenie, GameShark, and ActionReplay devices for game consoles.

As these screenshots show, the freefly hack (if you ever find the addresses) enables you to go through any object in the AvP2 game world, and also not be bound by gravity, or else you'll fall through the ground into oblivion, lol. You still have to be careful not to fly through molten lead or run into electric fences. Hazards and weapons can still kill you. But you can just stay between walls or above/below a room to be unreachable from opponents' weapons.

The only snag it has is well "body snagging" as I call it. A game bug that effects everyone. Non-hacking players are often accused of cheating when their alien body for example gets caught on a corner or ridged architecture, but their "point-of-view" (POV) does not and they continue traveling and attacking opponents. This POV is invisible (I like to think of it as the player's spirit), but it's the part of the player that does the killing. After a few seconds though, the body warps/teleports to where the POV is, and the player never knew they were invisible for awhile. It's probably due to server lag, caused by too many calculations having to be made between the characters and environment and then having to be relayed to all the clients.

As this pertains to freeflying, if I don't go into the wall enough, my body may stay standing against the wall, while my POV (where I see the game) is in the inaccessible area behind the wall. If I don't move anymore after that, my body will still not rejoin with my POV. I would see an opponent attacking the wall (you can't see your own body until you're dead) and I'd witness from far away, my body appearing & doing the death animation at the wall, it's weird, lol. Over time I'm able to judge better, if my body successfully got pulled into the inaccessible area with me, heh.

So anyway with this hack, I can find anybody hiding in Survivor (w/ Alien vision hack), hide forever in Survivor, fly over to Evac in seconds, pick off opponents at my leisure while in the walls, & accompanied with my other hacks, be the ultimate invisible cheater with my body safely out of the map area. (The freefly alone doesn't make me invisible, players will just see me flying or floating around. I can't use that speed hack that everyone uses to be invis, cuz I have WindowsME, that EXE with the "AOL Running Guy" icon doesn't work with WIN 9x OS's, so I have to use hack codes to achieve invisibility.)

I ran my game at 640x480 to take small screenshots. When I fly around the map, the grafix card has to draw the whole map sometimes (z-buffering goes out the window). So I turn all the graphic detail down to keep the framerate up, as I don't have a powerful card. A GeForce4 MX with 64MB :P.

I also like to use Predator auto-targeting, as it has a slightly longer range than SmartGun and it can track stationary camping players.

I'm slightly above the ceiling in Colony, looking through all that Alien cocoon webbing at unsuspecting Predators. I was just flying here and there, popping out of walls, blasting players, going back into the walls. So, this is what it feels like to be a ghost or malevolent spirit, attacking the physical living, lol.

(You'll notice my hand holding the weapon is a solid gray, one of my cheats causes this texture glitch occasionally when switching weapons. So getting one desired effect, sometimes causes another unwanted or useless one. Hey just as long as the side-effect is not a crash or something :P lol)

Here you see V in the fence and he walked around, he is the only other hacker I've seen able to do this too (& no I've never traded cheats with him). I believe he uses a different cheat though, like a teleport hack. It involves changing your vertical & horizontal coordinates, but that's just the hard way of doing it, I like flying better. His name was V, that V2 is just someone imitating his name. Oh yeah and I was an alien with a motion tracker, lol. My health was 175, so I was a drone.

Everyone sees me in the inaccessible building roof tops area in Lucifer'sFate. I detach from my body and look at the aliens against the wall below. I can shoot below the wall but not above on the roof because of the invisible barrier. Alien vision is turned off to better see the SmartGun targeting lock-ons. I return to my body so my point-of-view is where everyone sees me, on the roof. I can turn Alien vision on and off on the fly. Aliens pounce and jump in vain, trying to get me, just inches from their claws. But obviously I'm protected by the invisible barrier.

Evac can only be completed by actually having your body at the evac point, so you can't do the invisible thing. I joined during round 2, where Marines loss rounds 1 & 2. I got to play in round 3 and just flew over to complete evac. I'm floating next to the bridge leading to the Betty (Ship). Pissed the Aliens off, lol. So I left after winning the next round. Sometimes to make the game more balance, I don't use my weapons, I just fly around the evac point dodging Aliens, trying to complete the countdown. Tricky and fun.

Ok I know, everybody and their next door neighbor can do the invisible alien thing, but I'm the only one who can do it without a speedhack. I like to be like a shark and coast along the ground like it's water (it's actually like thin air). Yes aimbots help aliens, but no Pred Targ won't turn your alien into a homing disc when pouncing lol. It makes claws and tail hit their mark 100% of the time as long as you're in range. Pounce has a larger hit zone around targets.

This one's just hilarious to me. I'm invisible & fragging aliens right in front of their teammates and they just run right by me, desperately trying to figure out where the hell I am. They would ask the ones I killed for some clues, but it was all futile, lol. It was impossible to kill me anyway as my body was out of the accessible area. I'd just fly my POV to ammo boxes to keep refilling and fragging. It's a no-win situation for the other players, so I only do this for 1 or 2 rounds, hehe.

I'm more of an exhibitionist hacker, than a competitive one. I don't really play to win. I just like to get the "WTF!" & "WTH!" comments from players, cracks me up. It's like "come on, everybody gather around the street magician". So yes I have a sort of "David Blaine" complex, heh. Also you may have noticed from the pics, that I usually just stay for a round or two, or for a few minutes in TDM's. I personally don't like to ruin games. but I also noticed my address changed too even when I dont reboot just if I leave the game then lan hor or two later go back to play it my smartgun address changes and dont work unless I use tsearch to find it again.
now this didnt happen to me the first time I found the address for it.
and when I made the speed hack and jump high for the trainer I have.
those dont seem to be effected at all.
just the only ones changing is the smartgun and rockett launcher addies.
so if any one has a solution to this problem please speak up and gives us all a clue to fix this and get the main static addie for smartgun ?

JEGomorph seems to have a working sniper crosshair ( zoomed out ) in his screenshots. I've searched for ages for one but I can't seem to find one.

I have heard about a .rez file that eneables it but can't find that either. Only other thing I can think of would be to make a directx overlay of a crosshair similar to what fraps uses to display frames per second in games.

Anyone know how to achieve zoomed out sniper crosshair?

start off as alien search for 1 type: 4 byte.
then go a bug with out wallwalk mostly the preatorian value 0.
or go human or pred value 0 .
swithc back and foruth till you have one addie for preatorian wallwalk.
but for humans to do this its tricky.

and shoot through walls is not opengl on d3d game.
you would need a d3d wallhack for that to work.
or just simple search for the values for it in the games AVP2L.rez file .

I have noticed that the sg values does change time to time.
and alot of other gamers here had that happen too.
I also noticed instead of just researching for the new address close all your apps for a few minutes and let the computers offset memory thats been running refresh it self.
then try your trainers again.
I bet your address go back to the same address your trainer has.
its just a memory refresh and stored event in the computers system memroy banks.
once refreshed your offset addresses go back to normal.

and to top off on this post.
I recived a old speedhack from some one from the forums this moroning the icon in the shape of aol chat man LOL.
thats the old speedhack I posted on here last year.
and those old speedhacks are not invisible hacks guys.
sure they may turn you invisible but realy your body is still back where you spawned.
and second of all, those type of speed hacks can ruin your pcs cpu and ram & Video card easy.
cause what it does is over clocks your system cpu and ram and hard drive so your program runs faster thats all.
and if used to much you can blow your entire computer cpu and ram and Hard drive and were will you be then ?
you wont have a running pc any more.
your pc will probley be in the shop for repairs and parts replacements.
so if you wish to see your ram and cpu and Hard drive and video card burned out go ahead and keep using those old speedhacks.

now if you make one using Tsearch for avp2 or any of your other games then thats more safe for your computer.
cause then its not over clocking your system , cpu, ram, hard drive, video card ..
its just changing the games character runspeed and the game is still running at normal game speed and you dont crash your game and you dont end up haven your sytem freeze up on you either.
and you dont see white lines on your monitor when using a speedhack made from the games memory.

the only time I noticed it changes is if I format the entire HD then re-install avp2 and PH.
but other then that I think the register memory of the game is still in your systems regestery.

he uses the same tools we do.
Tsearch and TmK.
theres one tool that is more advanced then tsearch it is softice.
but you have to know masm32 registery and opcodes and how they work to read the memory cause in the screen of softice its show it just how the game actualy producesses it while running.
its sort like when you use tsearch to do an autohack you see the memory addresses and subaddresses and values and masm32 opcodes and registery.

If for example in the file, VisionModeButes.TXT ( extracted from the AVP2l.rez file ) you see all these kind of value what they are etc , and you also see in what kind of type you need to search for ( like ( float )( in tsearch) but there are also 2 others (String) , and (Integer)
if i want to search for the addresses for a thing which is a (string) or , (Integer) which type should i look at ? 1 byte , 2 byte , 4 byte , 8 byte , Float or Double ?

ya string is text you have to figure out what the text would be in hex or dec values.
the integer is normal value type hex or dec.
so those types you can just use Normal search from 1 byte to 4 byte type.

Hmm i was trying to think how to go Trough walls so like the freefly hack , i first i thought i maybe had found it coz i found this:

HitBoxScale (Float)
The hit box dimensions should be scaled by this amount in the x-z direction (forward-right). If too large, you will be able to .hit characters through walls . However, this must be large enough to encompass the character

I Found the Address but when i changed the value from 1.2 to 100 or something nothing really happned so i think it inst the way to do the freefly hack but maybe this has something to do with it.

FaTaSS, as you can see in the ChatacterButs you see a thing called
"SpringJumpSpeed (Float)
The speed that the character jumps from the ground while ducking"

Than if you look at this value at the characters you can see that the Marines have the value 550. and For example the Preditors have the value 1100.
Go into an Empty server be a marine , open lithtech.exe with Tsearch , than search for Exact Value Type=Float , value= 550

Than You switch to Preditors , now you press the Magnicfying glass with the dots ( that one that is next to the normal ( first) search.)
Now you again use type=float Exact value only now you type 1100 as value , when you have more than 1 result , do this a couple of Times so Switch to Marines back to Preditors ( and Don't forget to use the correct values with each character )
untill you got 1 result left now press the green cross, tsearch will transport the address to the 'Cheats List' Edit the value to whatever you want so when you put 2000 you can jump pretty high. and freeze this value.

SuppaStagga can you please tell how much addresses need to be changed to do the freefly hack ( not including the gravity hack for not faling down into obligation only the move trough wall address(es) ? ) so how much addresses to do this ?

Sorry to burst your bubble Jeg, but you aren't David Blane, and you are no hacker. You are what we call "A Kiddie Scripter," which imply's that you are a "person that has too much time on their hands, and can sit for hours on their butt figuring this shit out that people have figured out eons ago. This shit is easy, and has been practiced by people for years, hence they were smart enough to found Interact's Gameshark and Action Replay devices. Can you say big bucks? Come on, the truth is that there are many "hackers", "crackers", etc. out there that could decompile, derive the source code, rewrite, and recompile this game in a mere matter of days. Why aren't they doing it? Hmm...let's think about this. Oh I know, because they have jobs making these badass games in the first place. Truth of the matter is anti-hack organizations, and game companies are smarter and richer than any malicious hackers out there. Guess who get's them the dough? YOU GUYS, the hackers. Congrats, by hacking, you make people like my uncle rich lol. He pleads you keep it up so he can buy me a new car. Anyways MSN me for the values, etc. and I am going to once and for all ruin this game for everyone, so that the hackers in this forum become bored and go ruin some other game. Know why? because my uncle can buy me that car faster if I do.

Oh and by the way. That source code, and any other one you have are pretty useless for a couple reasons:

A. It is far too advanced for people, obviously that hack this game to understand, as many people including Commando have had it, and failed to figure out what to do with it.

B. It contains the AVP2Serv.exe, Some DLL files that support it...but guess what? NO AVP2.exe and NO LITHTECH.exe...whoops...without those, client side creations just went down the drain. And why would we want to edit server files? Those are for the anti-hackers who patch the servers. You guys come into their servers and bust them up, you need the client ones.

C. That is the Win32 Sourcecode, which renders it USELESS on all Linux based servers, which are the majority of them, such as Deadlyservers, which most people use for the cheapness. Oh sure, the Linux source is embedded too in there. Let's face it though, you don't know how to work with the Win32 one yet...how will you handle extracting the Linux one?

D. It is a public release. Do you think Lithtech or Monolith would actually release something that would have the ability to help you all either pirate, steal the concept of, or ruin the game? OF COURSE NOT, that's how HL2 got screwed. only a true "hacker" as you guys like to call them, can decompile and use reverse engineering to derive the sourcecode...but that's illegal, remember?



BOTTOM LINE/CONCLUSION: IM me to get the values that will satisfy you for a limited amount of time until the game dies, and the hackers move on to another game. That way you are happy cheating, and I am happy with my new GTO Turbo.

Hi, I've been playing for AvP2 for a couple years now and never had time to learn how to hack the game or any game for that matter. But as aimbots and speedhacks became rampant in the game, mixed with my love of computers, I became instantly interested in how to make these. From reading SEVERAL sites and links posted here, I downloaded tsearch and TMK and read numerous tutorials. One thing that I haven't found is how to find the type to search (1, 2, 4, 8byte, double, or float). For example, I hosted a game to experiment a bit, and found my sniper amo using 4 bytes. There were 3 values I narrowed it down to, I'm assuming 1 for the number displayed of amo in game, 1 for the graphic maybe?, and the 3rd the true value of the amo in game. I altered that one to 1000 or something and indeed I had 1000 amo. It wouldn't display more then 10 but it'd go to 9 when shot then back up. Problem is I closed everything out and worked on it at a later point and it seemed the memory address for the sniper amo had changed. I just need some tips for this stuff, I'm a fast learner and just looking for some helpfull hints for a noob at this stuff. Another thing, I was reading one of the tuts from a link commando showed on the forum and it was on how to hack the avp1 euro version. It said that the value for the health was 26500 or 25600 I forget(2byte) and double that for the armor. Just wanted to know how they got that value for health as well. And when I tried to raise the value my life started freaking out and dropping. Just wondered if anyone might be able to leave MSN/AIM name so I can learn from them instead of just taking their contact info from forum without their consent from me to bug them :cheeky: Thanks for your time guys and looking forward to learn. I'd rather make my own program then leech somebody elses creation!

i can do it for praetorian or quenn, but not for humans/preds,
we can get the values for it, and get a hotkey to change the values,
but how can we wallwalk or pounce with humans/preds, if they dont

u cant change ammo or live values, cause they are in the server side,
its only possible on single player or if u the host
u can put 1000 sniper shots but after 10 (the max amout of sniper shots)
u only shot phantoms, and u cant hit anything.

ho im also trying 2 do human cloak, so i can see my cloak body
but i guess im the only one :( , cause other players can see me normal lol
i think i need something else, cause when i press the hotkey i cloak with any character
maybe i only have changed the anymation or FX values, so only change in my PC not in game.

yes formating your hard driver will cause your computer memory banks to be wiped clean.
cause your os X temps has been wiped out.,
there for memory on all your pograms is not int he same registery line.
so your offset's will change.
and as for the new guy here.
well there some useful tricks we all do each one of is different .
some of use use tsearch and save all our address for each thing and just use tsearch as the trainer it self.
some of us just refresh the pcs memory so it resets it self.
some of us just does another search using tsearch and adds the new changed address to our buttons and so when the address offset changes we still have our working trainer for the game.
cause your address for each item sg or health or runspeed or ammo ect..
only changes to a few random offsets.
like the most so far is 4 different types of offset addresses.
so what they do is store them in one button for that item and bingo it works.

I would think through the source code, but I d/led it from the link here and was scanning through alot of the files for possible values but not sure. Like the value to make the praet pounce like a predalien or something, or sg tracking values and when found, would they be a float type? I got the praet wall walking thing down easily and the jump values down pat, worked nice. As for the sniper amo, i did find it out but you're right, I hosted and didn't try it on another server. They weren't phantom shots either being that I made sure I shot like 20 health packs etc... and they did indeed get destroyed and left scars on the map, but I'll take your words for it that it won't work on other servers. Thanks a bunch ;-) OHH, I saw a new hack the other day, the guy came in with the name ٱVٱ so he couldn't be booted with those ASCII values and he had an invulnerable hack on, killing people with a pistol. Anyone know the value/type for a char name or would I find that by doing the changed/not changed for unknowns (and what would the type be for this string? 8byte?). Thanks again for your time ^_^

we can get the values for wallwalk, but humans dont
have a key to do it, so i think we need to look for the doggle key, but how ?
same with pounce, i can do it with praetorian, but no key on humans.

alien vision
we can see the visionset type and see what type each race use, but how can we look for that value ? cause its a txt value like "alienvisions", even if i convrte it to hex and search, i only get the places in memory where alien visions is typed ( i think)
same with the (human or alien) cloak, even if we get the values for cloak, i think we need the values for the key, but how we search that ?


motion detector
i think we need 2 change the HUD, to put motion detector on alien or pred
so i look at the HUD value and got 3 values for it
3 for pred 2 for alien 1 for human, i think we also need to change the vision value like:
"Does this vision mode support the Marine Motion Detector"

so until now i got

jump, run, freefly, godmode, aim,alienpounce,snipercrosshair zoom out,
praetorian pounce and wallwalk,etc.
So i need some help here, i think im missing something to do the rest, but dont know what.

cause I know a few clans that use the hacks the we got.
but they made them in the begining when avp2 first came so they made a name out for them self.
like OSOK and 101st clan and GU and few others.
so I say its time to pay some yanker clans back cause when we accussed them for cheating in the game they deny it and boot us for mentioning about it.

First of all, I've been playing avp2 longer then any of you who prob came into the game, sucked and wanted to hack it to actually kill somebody like me. I'm not asking for hacks, I'm asking for info to learn, isn't that what this forum is for? I don't know why this SuperStagger guy is allowed to make contacts here when he has that attitude that a select few should be allowed to share when this is in fact a sharing community at least from my knowledge. The fact is you were prob given those values by that cousin you talked about Super and have not come up with any of your own. Commando has been nice enough to share info for people who want to learn and if you had read my post I asked for help on how to get the values and direction so I can do it on my own, thus learning. If you want to be greedy with the info you have, then why come to a forum? So you can brag? Tsk Tsk to you and I'm surprised that attitude is allowed here. As for noobs here... A newb to altering games? Yes. A noob to the game? No, in fact until hacks spread like wildfire I was one of the top elite from H vs H overrun servers since BAM had a server there and if you think that keeping info a secret Super allows you some kind of divinity you're mistaken being that hacks have been spread for way over a year and you're just catching on now to them. Sorry for venting but bashing is uncalled for when it's in the pursuit of knowledge, especially when the point was overlined that I did not want to leech programs, just tips and help on how to get them. I been playing sence the first release of avp the first game.
and I seen hackers and seen some of the unpatched hacks for the old avp game.
which worked good for the first one at least the first avp you could share the hacks.
but in avp2 were it is DMA you cant due to the memory offset address changes time to time and every time you in stalled the game.
but I have shared some info about how to create your own hacks.
then theres a few of us here that has shared more then I have.
so we are all interested in creating and learning to make hacks for avp2 and primalhunt.
so yes this forum board is intended to share information and skill in creating hacks or cracks or cheats which ever word you like to use for it.
its a good way also to learn how to debug applications too.
say one of your apps get curpted and you dont feel up to re-installing it .
you can also use tsearch or even other memory searching and debuging software to fix them.
so its all a learning process.
and thats what we are here to do learn and if I remember correctely for about a year or so we all wanted to create hacks for our avp2 games and stuff and also share information on it and pass our knowledge on to others.
thats also the way to make friends online and in life ingeneral.
I mean if i didnt help any one out and also share my server with them and stuff I know I probley wouldnt of gotten some of the stuff for my games.
which some of this is kool and fun to use.
and its funny to see a gamer scream and spam you cheat you cheat some times when i just want to freak them out thats what I get LOL
but hey it keeps me from being bored stiff most of the time I have spare time on my hands with nothing else to do.
so I go in a server and play and some time not always use the hacks just play normal but if I see a wise guy being crapper in the server and being smug about it I decide to start the old hack up and put him in his place.
and if I sked allot by bug gamers.
then i teach those skers a lesson.

but learn to do new hacks for the game and sharing info' is great when I have the time to help any one out I will do what I can.
and I will host a server with password protection so they wont be bothered by other gamers and so no one else will know what their doing.
I dont mind helping any one out they show me respect and kindness in return like i do to them its all good.

Actually people with these sorts of names can in fact be booted. The characters that you see on a typical keyboard all fall under the range of 30 through 126 on the ASCII chart's decimal index. The characters that you see guys like V using in their names fall outside of this range. Hence, they are not part of the key set that you see on your keyboard. But as most of you know, they can be typed by holding down the ALT-key + [a NUMPAD number sequence]. EG: ⌂ = ALT + 127 on the NUMPAD. However, AvP2 normally truncates or replaces symbol characters such as these when typed anywhere in-game (save for a dedicated server console), making it appear impossible to type them correctly or at all. Hence many people, like you abcxyz123, believe that guys like V can't be booted because they can't type his name. They either suffer the indignities inflicted on them or move on to another server. Well I am here to dispel that myth and show that a name like V is as fully bootable as anyone else's.

I was able to prove this the other day when I booted V's associate, C from a server that he had been terrorizing. In short, here's how it was done. It involved knowing the actual hex values for each character in the string comprising C's name (in this case 7f 43 7f), converting those hex values back into a string of characters and injecting that string into the Avp2 console, along with the <serv> kick command, bypassing AvP's native symbol limitations. So the final string injected into the console would look like this: <serv> kick C. Voila, hit the enter key and everyone says bye-bye to Mr. C.

I haven't looked, but it seems to me that just as player attributes are stored in the rez file, there may also be a table of some sort or other hidden in the rez files that defines what symbols can and can't be typed in-game. But since one would have to edit such a table to include all the symbols left out of the game manually, it's probably a less effective method for dealing with interlopers such as V and C. The method I mentioned above is much simpler to implement. And on that note, I've taken it upon myself to code a little application that will interface with AvP and allow you to search for and boot offensive players, regardless of name composition (assuming that you have server control). I will distribute this application freely once it's finished... Probabley via some forum that server admins frequent. I'm a busy person, however; so don't expect it over night or anything. This is more of a hobby project for me... one of those "as time permits" things... You're safe for now V.

Braided, thanks a bunch for that info, I knew there was a way and I was fiddling the alt button too in the game to make the different symbols. I need to learn more about hex editing, but as magic says, the challenge is the most fun about this. I didn't call you guys noobs lol, Super is the one who did cause we were asking questions.

As a side note I would be interested commando in getting together and perhaps making a clan.

I passed out last night, fiddling with the sg tracking value, perhaps somebody would be able to get me in the right direction. I hosted a game, picked up a SG and searched for Unknown Float values. Then I went to game right clicked turning off the tracking option and did Unknown Has Changed Float. Then I put it back and said has changed, switched from marine to corp, picked up a sg and said Has Not Changed. In the end my result was something like 3.730985023-38(this number is made up) or some number here. I froze the value and switched to pulse but all it did was make my pulse crosshair green. Any tips or possible directions I can take from here? Thanks a bunch for your time guys.

K, i got aimbot down pat, I saw Katie's post here, THanks a bunch for the value! LOL works awesome, total PWNAGE, 58 TDM kills 2nd place had 11. Shotgun 1 hit kills, etc... In case people didn't see her post, sg tracking value is 3. As for name hack I got that to work too last night, but here's the problem I ran into. I spent alot of trial and error to get this down pat, it's a bit complicated to explain but I basically used the above post the guys said he used to kick that C guy. Basically what I came up with was a name like this: £åz¥ I did this in a server I had hosted. Now my problem ran into this. I went into another server and it said So and So has entered and not £åz¥ but on my screen it appeared to be £åz¥ and nobody noticed the funky characters... I think I was the only one seeing it. Then I went into another server and it messed up even more so when I went to the score screen £åz¥ melded with another person's name and not mine LOL. But nobody again was seeing this. That was kind of upsetting since I thought I had it down, but I think I have a good start. The key is to use your TMK's Hex-Decimal converter and your character map that comes with your computer and realize the Hex is backwards. The nifty thing about the character map (located under start button->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools (for XP)) is that at the very bottom when you click on a character it will say something like U+0041 which the 41 is the Hex value for a capitol A. So a hex string for the word CAB would be something like 00 42 41 43. Convert that to decimal and input the decimal as your value and wallah. But again, I think I just had the wrong mem address or something, or is it stored server side and I can't do it from me hosting. I confused :( Any pointers? Thanks a bunch.

Oh P.S. Anyone know how to possibly make the range of the tracking longer so that it at least reaches the length of the hallway on Quar?

Oh, before I forget. There is a very important thing I haven't seen mentioned here. As for the wall walking Praetorian hack. Indeed it does not effect the marine however there is Light at the end of the tunnel. IF your marine crouch button is the same as the alien wall walk button it does something pretty damn nifty to the marine... He can straffe REAL fast while crouched. Give it a whirl :bandit:

Ok, before I go to sleep, figure I'll post today's success's and failures. I now have the SG and RL targeting bot, Air Accel, Jump Hack, Praet Wall Walking, etc... The number 1 thing I've been trying to find and getting a headache is the name thing. Now I keep thinking I got it figured out, then I switch servers and it doesn't work. Does fine when I host a server but F's up when there are more then me in a server and addy's keep changing. I've tried 4byte, 8 byte and float and when I hosted the game I got 3 values but when I joined a server I got 1. When hosting 1 value was just for the display, I learned this when I <serv>restart and it said my original game name has entered and not my ASCII value one. I changed another and it worked fine, ASCII name has joined. WHen I went to another server, my original name showed and not my ASCII one. Then I tried to find the value there and it started putting my ASCII name onto other peoples names, but ONLY I could see and read it. OH Wait, Have an idea right now, think I'll try it tomorrow. Got such a big headache from tryin all this lol.

hacking is to have fun out of it and learning some thing new you can do to the games.
so your normal game play dont make you bored any more.
I still play normal game play with out the hacks.
but when I get sked alot and I noticed some else is using a hack i turn mine on and bingo I teach those skers a lesson and so the hacker he knows he not alone on the server.
but it is fun to see some of the gamers whine and cry and bitch and moan about cheating.
I even changed my trainers around so i can turn autoaim off and on at will so when I just use that they cant realy tell if Im hacking or not.
only time they can tell Im hacking is if I use flymode and show them with out me hiding on them they go look its superman LOL
thats one of the comments I got froma gamer and he still stayed in the server with me and played even though i hacked.
he asked if i was hackin the server it self.
and I told him nope
what Im doing is all legal its not hacking or even touching the game server its all client side.
so theirs no need for worries.
so he was more at ease and he thought it was funny some of the stuff I was doing and how I pissed off some of the alien gamers on there.
LOL I alwasy love to see a bug gamers get zapped and see them flip in the air and die cause most of the bug gamers think their hot stuff.
but even if I play normal mode with no hacks runing I still get the bugs most of the time unless they jump me from behind or gang up on me.
so even if I use a hack some times I still got normal aim skills.

Well shit LOL, that name hack is alot easier then what I did to get it lol. I haven't tried your way but I'm sure it'll work. What I did was pretty complicated way of using TSearch, and I got the boxes in my name, however in the game a few people didn't see the box which is actually even better because nobody can boot you and nobody can see the box lol, but others said they can see it.

K, now only a couple hacks to figure out, the million hp hack and freefly hack. I'll definately figure it out, but if anyone wants to share and save me time while I'm testing plz do. Starting right about now to work on it.
