Getting EB to unban a GUID

If anyone has experience of reasons why they would actually unban you then please post here; I'd love to know if there actually is any reason they would unban someone.

I sent my e-mail to EB 4 days ago, no return from them.

I sent my e-mail to ea 4 days ago, returned in 9 hours with new key.


EDIT... Sorry was just letting you know that I had sent a e-mail to EB and didn't get a reply. But if I ever do I will let you know.

Thanks for the input, Simple, but I am specifically interested in seeing if anyone here has had a successful unban from PB.

Perhaps they're not sure how to unban, only ban :)

EB/PB assumes you're guilty until proven innocent. They think their products are for the most part infallible. Any correspondence you start with them will be (after a significant delay) quickly shot down. I wrote to Tony Ray begging for an un-ban, and this is the prefabricated response I received:

That's crap, because what is more important is allowing you to use YOUR KEY because you own it, not because someone else has your key and hacked while using it.

when you got unbanned did you send your guid to EA or your CDkey?

you dont send ether. You send a PHOTO OR SCAN OF THE CDs sayying that you lost your cdkey and cant even install the game without the cdkey. If you say you were banned by PB, they will not give you a new cdkey. If you give them your guid they will point you to EB. If you give them your cdkey, they will say why you need a new one if you have one already. The idea is that your LOST your cdkey and need a new one.

ok but if you say you 'lost your cd key" would they just say tuff luck, u gotta buy a new one for being stupid enough to lose it???

I told them I lost my CD key and needed a new one and sent them a scan of the CD's. With 8 hours I had a new key that works fine.

Ok ladies and gentlemen,

If we keep on posting this lost key info, how long do you think it will take before EA retract this most excellent service for fear of warez munkeys just getting any old photo of cd's and getting keys without paying?

Well, to save a few threads I'll tell you: NOT BL00DY LONG MATE :-)

And once again chaps, to get back on-topic, has anyone been unbanned by PB, and if so, for what reasons?
