K, what I know about google is that it uses two different methods of determining who gets ranked high/low.
The first is relevance, and that gets into the pool. After that pool you are given a rank based on your page rank value... which is determined by how many sites link to you. 1-10 = 1, 10-100 = 2, ect.
I want to know a few other things about how google operates.
1) if you have a forum, will it search every page on your forum? If you have a site that generates material for each user as a portal would, does it visit all pages that it can as a guest?
2) how often does google update
3) if you have something on your site like a little discription, is it helpfull to have a bunch of keywords? For example, if your site was for cats, would "cats, cat toys, catnip, (ect) be scanned? I heard that google blacklists people who just put down all their keywords... is that true?
-Thanks
