Priston Tale BMP patcher

if any of you want to view the bmp's in the PT file but dont feel like hex editing them, heres a bmp patcher a friend of mine made that will do it for you. just make sure you make a copy of the image folder, dont apply the patcher directly to the pt folder. anyway enjoy

Actually, it can work directly in the pt folder, allowing you to skin your Priston Tale. UNfourtaonately, you can't undo what you've saved to an image, so I would also suggest you did your editing in a different folder anyway, and keep the origonals.

Ty for your patcher, its a really good prog and it works very well.But I have a problem, I can change the skins of my items, but when I trade with somebody, he sees the real skin, how can I do to make him see the false picture? like a trans for a sereneo. and how can i change the stats and the name of the item ? ty for your help, cyao

Open the corrisponding file that PT uses for whatever you want to change. Edit it to look how you want, then save over your old file.

Note: I'd make a copy of all of your original files just in case they add a checksum or hash.

you don't need a program to do this, open the BMP you want to change with a hexeditor and change the first digits, the file header from:
41 38 3a 39 10 19 24 31 40 51 9a 79 90 a9 28

to:
42 4d 3a 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 36 00 00 00 28
save the BMP and you will be able to open it with any painting program. change whatever you wana change and then save it. Open the BMP with the hexeditor agen and change back the file header to the original. easy as shit :)
