its been tried b4 but many bugz, trust me if i knew how to do it (it mus be complicated like a bitch) i would in a second cuz technicly if u could "convert" it to open gl mode u could practicly use counter-strike hax lol which would be ownage in so many different ways because much more ppl know how to create ogl hax then in d3d, but as i said its unlikely that some1 will create it.

i dunno about the ini command but i know it would be highly "unstabble" since open gl and d3d dont have much in comon, so im told.

I'm not sure if they had Opengl in mind at all, but the unreal engine is flexible, unreal tournament came along with all the neccessary stuff to run opengl

To force it to use OpenGL, go into your /ravenshield/system folder and find ravenshield.ini

change the renderer line to..

[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice

It won't start up though, because rvs doesn't come with the neccessary files/drivers and whatnot. If you have a copy of Unreal tournament, you could probably grab them from there, but then again, not sure if it would even load up.

I don't know why UBI discluded the OpenGL functionality. The only reason was probably to limit the hacks, because OpenGL runs better on some GeForce cards.
