vietnam choppers

whats with the flying of the choppers on vietnam. I spend two weeks learning how to fly choppers in battlefield 1942 Desert combat and then they make it basic to fly in nam..

Are you saying they should have made it much harder to fly? Ohh well, I guess the time you spent learning to fly in DC was all waisted :p—I think it's better if anything. Gotta love how they hover, makes everything so much easier; although they are not as maneuverable as they were in DC.

My meaning is if U can fly the choppers in DC and learnd how to fly them well, U will Own everybody in Nam.

One thing though the American jets, F4 Phantom and the A-7 Corsair II fly like they are pregnant or somet compaired to the Migs.

What I dont understand is this is a cheating forum. Lets keep the talk about cheating, not just about the game. If you want to talk about the game, goto a gaming site such as bf-v.com or bfstats

choppers in bfv are the uber killing machine. activate your name tags hack, and camp the enemy airport , its a delightful passtime. also spawn as a viet cos they have that nasty sa7 in their pack that can silence a chopper quick.

I love a certain chopper. I never paid much attention to grab the name but its the one that shoots rockets out of both fire buttons. With nametag you can tell where the enemy is real easy and them rockets are awesome for killing stuff on the ground. Yea you gotta watch out for the sa7's. I already am pretty good with the sa7's too. Hard to take out the jet planes with it but if you get good enough you can.

also i have a question: once i flew with the "apache" shopper and tried to switch to 2nd position to shoot those nifty heatseeking missiles. but whenever i switch to 2n position and press fire , nothing happens?? did anyone know how to do this?

hover owns in bfv but the control over the chopper is better in dc.

hahaha, i hope you don't think my comment was trying to be mean. that was an actual suggestion, not a sarcastic comment. i was trying to help while other people chose not to. btw, i loved the fact that choppers took some practice in DC. nothing like getting a whole bunch of people in a blackhawk and doing acrobatics between buildings and bridges. flying through the carrier, jumping in and out of copter in free fall, good times.

Hey I only try what this site is about. Its not how I see fit. This site is about cheats, not avg game talk. If this was an avg game talk site, then it would not allow talk of cheating. If you have a problem with what this site is, then you leave on your own. I am not going to ban anyone for normal game talk. I am just going to discourge it as it can clog up the boards with non-cheat posts. Goto bfstats.com or bf-v.com or bf1942.com for avg game talk, there is no need to waste the peoples time that come here for cheats and cheat talk, not avg game talk. And dont tell me how to do my own job.

And yeah, the choppers are too easy to control, and fly like bricks :/ I hope DC will port to BFV soon......flying a chopper in DC seperates the men from boys....

I think that there should be a area that everyone is good at. That is what I liked about DC. some spent time in choppers and some in the A10 and land rovers. In actual war you had the same. Not everyone could do everything, why not in the game as well. In BFV everything is just too basic. This is just an opinion and it is understood that not all will agree. On a seperate note what is with the graphics. DC is alot better!

i know what you're saying, but the reason why we aren't allowed to talk cheats in normal forums is because we're different. this is our take on the game forum. this is where we can discuss things without the restrictions placed on what we say. cheating and playing the game aren't seperate things either. anyway, if this forum were only about on-topic things, the boards would be empty.

I dont think there's nothing wrong with the choppers..the time you spent on DC was hm... how should say "a waste of time" because the handling of the helicopter in BFV is a major difference than DC.

The point is you want everything to be as close to real as possible. At least that is the reason I purchased the game. The Choppers in DC are more realistic to actual flying than BV. The people what like BV like it because they didn't want to take the time to fly in DC. Maybe a challange scares them!
