Hello.
Not a main problem.. But some servers have ****pit view and external view disabled.
Should be possible to enable it clientside I think.
Someone worked on it allready?

on bf1942 i remember some modded the rfas to get rid of the "cokpits" (even for tanks)..but since its a server variable, i doubt we can change it thru memory

You know, I wondered if there was a way to force the killercam(when you die it shows where the enemy came from) even tho its a serverside variable. The thing about server side variables like this, I would think it would just tell the client yes or no to deathcam, not actually do all the calc on the server end.

this seems like it would be easy to test and crack. there is probably some code in bf1942 that loads the on/off attributes of the server options and then behaves accordingly. there is probably a nop or a jnz or something that can be changed so that it will skip the code or allow the code that draws/prevents drawing the ****pit. don't know if the server options are loaded into memory at the loading phase of joining or is done when you actually enter the vehicle(s). at any rate, seems like someone with two computers could test this somehow. kind of hard to run a test like this though, since you can't just join and then disconnect and join over and over again. the game reloads itself into memory each time you reload a new map. perhaps if you are doing this in a closed LAN setting with the same settings and the only setting being changed is the on/off ****pit view thingie-
