Good luck tpoynor!
Some people who started from zero (no hacking knowledge) were able to do their private hacks in just a few days...
For me it took lots and lots of reading and a lot of time (2 months, pushed by the fact that with PB soon no public hacks were available anymore).
I just managed to do a name tag and map hack, but that's enough for me and enough to dominate most of the normal players muahahahaha :-)

Thanks for the words of encourgement:classic:
But I do have a quick question...
What language should I start on?
I mean I have no experience in any programming so if you yourselves were going to start from scratch what lang should I pik ? I have noticed in a lot of the tuts ad with some of the tools asm is the lang but i have c++ and asm already installed and i have access to VB .
Thank you for your help.

Vb is the easiest. C++ is preferable if you have a good trainer template. Forget about asm if you dont know any language. (my opinion)

ASM is what your going to use to do your hack in, VB or C++ is what your going to make the trainer in that messes with ASM coding in the game.
