u can download the *demo version* of uo.. wich actualy means, the full game with a time limited ACCOUNT on the official server.
wich u don't need to play on free server of course

Kind of true. I just got off of Askchopper and I asked about this. It is an old exploit. When you finish downloading you will get redirected to a page with a temporary CD key for your 15 day free trial account. Well all you had to do was make a link/shortcut to that page then mask your IP with proxy and you would get a different CD key. Apparently, according to the mods at AC, they abused this exploit so much that the CD keys distributed have already been used! Not all keys distributed were used so you might have to do a bit of searching before you find a working one.

:P you know that OSI and EA will come up with some stupid promo after the next expansion though :) This time I might save a list of them for times like now and swap them for some UO gold or items.

yea, wouldnt be a bad idea... but i read somewhere that UO was closing down this year so they can move onto new games or some bs like that.. dunno if its true or not.. i quit OSI.. theyve been ****ing up the game for the last 3-4 yrs now... freeshard player here now.. sucks tho.. cuz noone knows any ****ing RunUO bugs

Closing down? I read that OSI is closing shop in Texas and moving to California but I havent heard anything about UO closing for good. I will ask at uo.stratics.com and see what I can find out.

Its doctored. There was a response to this on stratics somewhere, its not real. EA games would be fools to close UO with the amount of people still playing. Even if they did lose alot of players they would not close UO for good they would cut back on expenses maybe close a few shards. After all why would you throw away a steady cash flow? Nah UO isnt going anywhere.

Had to edit this because I said there wasnt a Ce'Nedra Willow on stratics team. I searched a little more and found the name to be an actual member but that post is a fake. I will post some links to the threads on the subject im looking for one with hanse or someone equally as important replying.
