The traines and stuff for Daiblo 1 still work , I used the bobfetts one for a long time , ut I didnt think anyone played D1 anymore thats why I stopped there wasnt anyone playing
maybe 5 games or something and it got boring just going straight to hell and then kill daiblo
and the items werent that good compared to Diablo2 , although I was able to use a editor and made some super weapons , like diablo plate armor and helmet and sword I could zip through the 3 lvls of hell in like 10 min , I have most of that stuff saved on zip disk but its on a old computer ,it didnt have a cd burner so I dont really have anyway to transfer the files , Also I dont know if blizzard update the reg diablo 1 game to 1.10 , has anyone gone to a search engine and tried to find any diablo 1 hacks or editors?

Whether the character is stored client side or not makes no difference to the actual gamehacking. This however would make character editing pretty much impossible.

However, you are right that it is simple. Retail Diablo does not make use of DMA, Dynamic Memory Allocation, or have serverside checksums making the code freely editable. Also because it hosts the game server from your system it allows the game to be compromised.

Actually, I still do, I play it about a week every year when I get bored, until I get bored.
I treasure my D1 CD.

I think the best hack for D1 was The Great Bobafett. I use to use it all the time. Very simple to use.
