game installation

I recently downloaded a game onto my "D" drive because my "C" drive doesn't have much memory left. But the game automatically installs in the "C" drive. What I wanted to know is if I could cut all the stuff from the "C" drice and paste somewhere in the "D" drive. All I would need to do would be to change the target to where the game will start when I click on the icon in the desktop?

I'm pretty sure it's not that easy.... there are registry keys that pint to the c:\ drive location of the game so.... you would need to change those as well...... easiest thing to do it to uninstall the game then reinstall it using "custom install" and point it to install in a folder on D:\ drive ;)
