New Mod Out?

Hello, I have noticed a couple servers running a new mod. It seems to lockout special characters in names. Once I was in, the <name> command no longer worked? Anyone have any experience with this mod. Seems to have the anti SK also.

Yeah that no name changing mod is annoying but not many servers use it.

So is there no way around this new mod if they use it and the <name> command is disabled? From what I read about it, the main aim for it is to stop server crashers, which I do not approve of those that do nasty things like that. I tried entering SG-3 Server, I was renamed to Player_HN and could not change my name. Plus, a number of poeple started to call me name hacker. So thus if the <name> command is DISABLED, well it seems you can forget about even using TSearch to change it. Server side code seems to disable the processing of it.

Yea but if you know how to make server side hacks you can get around it. I leave that up to you, since I know not how to do so.

U cant change ur name, but u can use ur cheats anyway lol

At this point it's just better to use a barcoded name instead of the ⌂'s since they are easily booted. A barcode may prevent being booted but not forever...

Bar Coded names wont get you far BTW, this mod has given Kick by ID and Admin Player rename command I have found out.
