Well the best of the best cheats for the game remain in the hands of a couple of devs and their friends. However I can tell you of a url that has quite a few of the lesser cheats, including info on how to get trainers to work.

I have not posted here in over a year, and cannot remember what the policy is on posting urls to other sites tho. If it is ok I will post it.

first go through this thread it will point you to the tools you need to get started like an editied mta client that allows for using trainers, and an edited lithjoe trainer. There are 2 things going on. First the mta client is looking for windows with know trainer names, and second the mta client changes the window name of the gta:vice city game.

the cracked mta client stops looking for trainers but most trainers still wont work because they are looking for a window called GTA:Vice City. MTA renames this window to MTA something (i forget off the top of my head) so you need to get a hex editor and look at all non fixed trainers and scan for GTA:Vice City and change that to the new window name. Like I said mtavcsux already points to a version of Lithjoes trainer that has been fixed in this fashion.


Also make sure you close ie or mozilla etc when you are on, as it can make even the cracked mta client think you are cheating when you are not.

BTW, trust me while the things at mtavcsux.net are pretty cool. They dont even touch the tip of the iceberg as to what is out there amongst the hardcore cheaters in MTA that really know exactly how MTA works deep down. There is some crazy stuff that has been and is being developed. If you go in servers and see people typing WTF!!! every 20 seconds then you may be on a server with a cheater that is testing these things heh.

The only cheats that i know are easy ones that involve editing handling.cfg, you can make cars go really fast, go through walls,cars etc fall through building and water and a never dying one, if u want more info im sure i can make u some things, and oh one otha thing i got a way to amke all weapons and cars etc appear on the building next to the airport ;)

Cheats include editing config files, trainers (memory hacking), editing the scm (recoding the mission), and packet editing. There may be a couple im missing.

man, you guys dont even know, read the new VB6 section of the forum, the netcode manipulation for 0.4 was great, now we need to figure out the agorithim for 0.5 encrypted packets tho =(
