Please rememebr that for the first week or so untill we get a schedule set up anyone how wants to DJ will have to join the radio IRC channel about half an hour before you want to do your show, then we can work out exactly when you start and finish the show ;)

okay I finished a tutorial so all you who want to be DJs can get all set up and then as soonas you join IRC all we'll have to do is test your stream on a test server and after that if all is fine you'll get the real server details and you can start your show ;)

Indeed you did do an awesome job with those tuts. I think you should include a part about the MySQL however and link to the site so that people can download it if they're having trouble with the install. Other than that, let me know about this schedule i'd be glad to take up some hours hosting shit, I had a lot of fun doing it yesterday and the night before.

yeah remember set everything up then go on IRC anf get server info from me or syphon, then you can DJ whenever you have time and noone is on, if someone is on and you really want to dj go on IRC and bug en to death :P

I don't see that anyone has been asking this so I do now.

If I would be a DJ or something on mpcradio and when I send the music, do I need fast connection? Once I hosted a shoutcast server and well...I could have max 3 listener, if I had more my connection would lag out and I couldn't do shit and the songs lagged as hell. Or do I just send to server and server send out to everyone so It do not take much bandwidth from me?

@Broodhill: You just send the music to the server and it has it's own bandwidth. (luck takes care of that). Also you don't need MySQL for SAM2.

@KillMr: Well MPCradio is a radiostreamer (http://www.radiostreamer.com/) server so you could check that out to get your own and then that would be the info you put in.

Being a Dj will definately be my type of thing, and i got songs from trance dance to pop and rap and a bit or instumental, anime theme songs and also rock and game theme songs and rock. and i can also download songs anytime just tell me through msn.... but 1 problem i am avaliable only Mon-Sat from 5pm to 11pm on Mon-Fri and from 10am to 12am on Sat i hope that is ok
