PRELOGUE - SECURITY ISSUES

Never forget you are using someone else program, so in spite of the cheat working or not you should always have 2 passwords one u use to connect to the game and another u use when you go offline.

So before enabling mupppie you should change your password to the “online password”
And when you finish playing you should change to your safe password.
This wont prevent keyloggers but most of them are antivirus detected so no worrys there ( not mutch anyways ) but proxy servers can send you info not only to the muserver but also to the cheat creator server.

So warnings said …. Lets go on…



CHAPTER 1 - INSTALLING MUPPIE

1 - Create a directory named gameguardold inside your gameguard directory.
2 – Uncompress and copy the old gameguard files to gameguardold
3 – Place the batch file (.bat) included in the zip on your desktop
4 – Uncompress and place the mu minimizer directory in your desktop.
5 - Uncompress and place in your desktop muppie rc1 beta release

CHAPTER 2 – UNDERSTANDING MUPPIE


You should never use a cheat without knowing the basics of the game/cheat so so you
noobs can understand basically the cheat is a “man in the middle “ software.

That simulates a proxy on your own machine, that intercepts all communication between the webzen server and your computer, modifying information according to your needs.

Imagine that when you attack a npc that the command “ATCK” is sent to the server

If you have mupie working, the “ATCK” is sent first to MUPPIE and MUPPIE before relaying the command to the server adds a few more “ATCK” making you hit the npc more times.

Ideally you could setup a machine on the internet that whould proxy and provide a standard cheat for everyone to use. But that’s not up to me.

For those who know the ropes, I am sorry for such a lame explanation, and over the truth but I have to consider that this are ppl who don’t know how to search a forum .


CHAPTER 3 – RUNING WITH MUPPIE

Ok , now first YOU MUST UNDERSTAND that the muppie has bugs, and also that webzen trys in what manner they can to fight this kind of cheats, but because of the protocol and game implementation they choose … ( I need not to say a chitty job ) they
are screwd for some time.

ANYWAY, MUPPIE WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK …. It needs timing and synchronism to work , just like the dupe cheat, if you don’t succeed in putting muppie into work try again and again eventually u will make it.


Ok now the specs …


1- delete all file in mu gameguard directory ( do not delete de folder gameguardold)
2- start muminimizer and press start
3- start muppie
4- press “start proxy”
5- press “launchmu” ( after choosing game executable )

Watch as gameguard updates … it will download 7 files after the seven file is downloaded. The progressbar will be relaced by a “checking status”.

6 – IMMEDIATELY after the status window is gone klick one time in the batch file in your desktop.



NOW 3 things can happen.

You ear a “plim” and you got a dotnet error.

1 – muppie is working but you cant conf anything if you add the number of hit before you launched mu you still can use the so called hithack just click on the window and mu will get on top of the screen

You get nothing

1- GOOD enter your user and pass (remember security procedures)
2- Press f11
3- Use muppie at will ( see below )

You get a hack detected

1 - GO over chapter 3 from the beginning, you press the batch file to late and where detected…



CHAPTER 4 - Using mupie

Lets admit that you got it right ... mu enters without any problems:

WHAT can i do now you ask yourselfs.....

FIRST press F11 and you will get mu in a window. when using mupie i ussually have the following resolutions:

game resolution in mu : 640 x 480
screen resolution : 1024 x something ( gotta check )

this makes the minimizer work perfectly in my lcd screen. ( i had to say it )

well mupie can do several things, and i must thank now the programer, that either is a tremendous geek or got the source codes from the server/client and also is a major programing geek ...... either way it is a geek to respect..


the basic thing to do is to go to the hit option on the second tab and place a number there remember between 1 and 500 never more..

keep in mind that the higher you go the easy you kill monsters but somehow the easyer it is to get disconnected ..... and for someone who i gess spent the last 3 hours putting mupie into work i am betting you dont wanna be disconnected so just put 30 in the field and press apply.

now lets test it !

just go to a medium size npc for your level and hit him once, notice that several damage is beeing made to the npc, you can almost see lots of numbers coming out of the npc and sundly he dies....

Walk around gain some xp until your satisfied with your test and get ready for autokill !


CHAPTER 5 - AUTOKILL how does it work ?

well autokill or warping kill as i call it is nothing more than ordering your player to kill everyone that apears on your screen. I can only guess the method that allows
this feature ( btw if someone knows please feel free to add to the post ) to work.

Q: but i have a x y cordenates, what for ?
A: thats another type of autokill it is called true autokill

if you check the autokill box you will have to walk around the map killing everything that appears on your screen and that requires you to be at your computer.

true autokill basically mixes the teleport with autokill, when you fill in the x y cordenates you are telling muppie to do a random teleport of your character that has the x y cordenates as a limit every x miliseconds beeing the x the number you put on that box just above the cordenates... i advise 3000 so you an teleport and actually have time to see monster appear on your screen for your autokill to work but it really has to do with your machine and lag ... be carfull with the cordenates you insert, you dont wanna go somewhere your not suposed to like .... INSIDE A WALL .. in that case you will spawn in the city .... mupie provide a lorencia map in the teleport area where you can preview the cordenates you night want to try, check it out.

be aware that using autokill will get you disconnected a high number of times ...

once more you will have to be patient and try and try and try until you get the hang of it ..... and know how to avoid disconnecting situations.

Here is also a brief tutorial writen by brandon (killa41190@hotmail.com)
that i find also very interesting and that have some cordenates for you to play with.

Step 1.

Click on Game Play tab , Under Game Settings you'll see Auto Kill , with 2 category's under it , "Kill What Apears" and "True Autokill". Click the check boxs "Enable" and "Teleport" , then under True Autokill category , click the check box labeled "Enable" then in Delay type in "2000" delay.

Step 2.

Look at your favorite warping play(i.e Losttower7). Then find the top of the map , and the bottom cords , then find the left to right cords , write them down , then in the Min X put the left cord , then in the Max X put the right cord , in the Min Y put the top cord , in the Max Y put the bottom.

Step 3.

Under "Hit Count Settings" you'll see Hit Count then a field to put the hitcount you want , put that as 500 , and press Apply , then under Kill What Apears press Apply.

Now your all set , you kill anything that spawns around the map , here are some nice cords you can use.

If i may add a personal note i found more usefull just using the hit hack and playing myself then having to reconnect hundreds of times. at least until mupie is redone.

STARTING THE GAME IN DUPE MODE !


You will need:

1 - 2 computers able to run mu with mu installed
2 - Fast Reflex

The idea is to enter the same account with both computers at the same time.

Now this can be tricky .. i advise you to have both computer keyboards side by side. I have tryed using a keyboard dataswitch and it is mutch more dificult because switching keyboards is simple not fast enought also i DO NOT advise using terminal services or any kind of remote control program because is is also not fast enought.


lets continue....

After you have put the 2 computers side by side and have the 2 keyboards in front of you just connect mu normaly .... and stop in the username and password insertion screen.

insert the SAME username and Password in both computers.... then do a small pray and press enter at the same time.

3 things can happen now

1 - one computer logs into the account and the other says " account already connected"
2 - one computer logs into the account and the other stays in the trying to connect screen and the connect bar just keeps going from the beginning to the end.
3 - both computers log into the acount.


if you got 3 .. your halfway there...


The above situation is hard for a guy trying to dupe for the first time because the timing must be perfect i tryed like 50 times before i could get it right so dont dispair just keep trying. For those that like to look geek, you can do what i have done i arranged a small aluminium rod and bend it so it could toutch both enters of both keyboards at the same time .... ( one hand is always faster than the other ). now i can do it on the first try.



now AFTER you logon with the same account you can use several methods to dupe jewels and stuff.


METHOD 1 & 2

i personally like 2 methods, one is fast and dangerous the other is slow and easy.


METHOD 1 ( slow and easy )

1 - Create 2 characters Char1 and Char2
2 - Connect with char1 on one computer and with char2 on other computer
3 - Go to lorencia ( has to banks )
4 - send char1 to the left back
5 - send char2 to the right bank
( By sending them to diferent banks you avoid confusions )
6 - with char1 open the bank
7 - with char2 open the bank
8 - with char1 take the items you want to dupe from the bank
9 - leave the char2 looking at the bank the all process doing nothing
10 - after char1 taken all items from the bank open and close the bank with char2
( this is just a security check to see if items still in bank )


after you taken all the items with char 1 you will see that char 1 has the items on the inventory, but O MY GOD .. you still have the items on the bank... DUPE IS DONE.

Now a very important thing ... you should only dupe gems and u must use them right away. DO NOT TRADE THEM. if yoou have leftovers just go to the blacksmith and sell them. you see..

there is no original and copy from the moment you dupe you have 2 copys of the same item.. if you dont use it right away or if you trade them .. you have the risk that someone will store it on his/her vault... and your gem/item will be compromized, because tehre will be another copy of it in the game ... eventuall webzen do cleanups and u will LOSE YOUR ITEM ..


Now ... the second method is faster..

METHOD 2 ( fast and dangerous )

This methos is faster if you have like 20 chaos and 30 gems to dupe, you will soon realize that you will get crazy changing stuff from the banlk to the inventary.... to many mouse clicks ... hehehe

you can dupe inventary items thous not using the bank..


you must connect with the same character ( char1) in both computers instead of diferent characters. obvious when you check the inventary on both computers you will see the same items... you can use all items ( jewels and chaos ) on one char and leave the other untoutched... after u have used them all just switch char BUT WARNING...


first press switch character in the empty inventory char1 .... and ONLY THEM press switch char on the full inventory char2...

there is one catch ... you will have to pass the result of your duping to someone else because what you are really doing is backtraking ..... saving the game or in this case loading the game.

after you have done that just enter in the game with the same char in both computers again and you will still have both icons in both chars.. and ready to dupe more ...

But just want to clarify.. you meant that when you ATK the MOB, it attacks it a certain amount of times blah blah blah.. not the NPC.. as NPC's are the shop owners etc. :P

For those who know the ropes, I am sorry for such a lame explanation, and over the truth but I have to consider that this are ppl who don’t know how to search a forum .


CHAPTER 3 – RUNING WITH MUPPIE

Ok , now first YOU MUST UNDERSTAND that the muppie has bugs, and also that webzen trys in what manner they can to fight this kind of cheats, but because of the protocol and game implementation they choose … ( I need not to say a chitty job ) they
are screwd for some time.

ANYWAY, MUPPIE WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK …. It needs timing and synchronism to work , just like the dupe cheat, if you don’t succeed in putting muppie into work try again and again eventually u will make it.


Ok now the specs …


1- delete all file in mu gameguard directory ( do not delete de folder gameguardold)
2- start muminimizer and press start
3- start muppie
4- press “start proxy”
5- press “launchmu” ( after choosing game executable )

Watch as gameguard updates … it will download 7 files after the seven file is downloaded. The progressbar will be relaced by a “checking status”.

6 – IMMEDIATELY after the status window is gone klick one time in the batch file in your desktop.



NOW 3 things can happen.

You ear a “plim” and you got a dotnet error.

1 – muppie is working but you cant conf anything if you add the number of hit before you launched mu you still can use the so called hithack just click on the window and mu will get on top of the screen

You get nothing

1- GOOD enter your user and pass (remember security procedures)
2- Press f11
3- Use muppie at will ( see below )

You get a hack detected

1 - GO over chapter 3 from the beginning, you press the batch file to late and where detected…



CHAPTER 4 - Using mupie

Lets admit that you got it right ... mu enters without any problems:

WHAT can i do now you ask yourselfs.....

FIRST press F11 and you will get mu in a window. when using mupie i ussually have the following resolutions:

game resolution in mu : 640 x 480
screen resolution : 1024 x something ( gotta check )

this makes the minimizer work perfectly in my lcd screen. ( i had to say it )

well mupie can do several things, and i must thank now the programer, that either is a tremendous geek or got the source codes from the server/client and also is a major programing geek ...... either way it is a geek to respect..


the basic thing to do is to go to the hit option on the second tab and place a number there remember between 1 and 500 never more..

keep in mind that the higher you go the easy you kill monsters but somehow the easyer it is to get disconnected ..... and for someone who i gess spent the last 3 hours putting mupie into work i am betting you dont wanna be disconnected so just put 30 in the field and press apply.

now lets test it !

just go to a medium size npc for your level and hit him once, notice that several damage is beeing made to the npc, you can almost see lots of numbers coming out of the npc and sundly he dies....

Walk around gain some xp until your satisfied with your test and get ready for autokill !


CHAPTER 5 - AUTOKILL how does it work ?

well autokill or warping kill as i call it is nothing more than ordering your player to kill everyone that apears on your screen. I can only guess the method that allows
this feature ( btw if someone knows please feel free to add to the post ) to work.

Q: but i have a x y cordenates, what for ?
A: thats another type of autokill it is called true autokill

if you check the autokill box you will have to walk around the map killing everything that appears on your screen and that requires you to be at your computer.

true autokill basically mixes the teleport with autokill, when you fill in the x y cordenates you are telling muppie to do a random teleport of your character that has the x y cordenates as a limit every x miliseconds beeing the x the number you put on that box just above the cordenates... i advise 3000 so you an teleport and actually have time to see monster appear on your screen for your autokill to work but it really has to do with your machine and lag ... be carfull with the cordenates you insert, you dont wanna go somewhere your not suposed to like .... INSIDE A WALL .. in that case you will spawn in the city .... mupie provide a lorencia map in the teleport area where you can preview the cordenates you night want to try, check it out.

be aware that using autokill will get you disconnected a high number of times ...

once more you will have to be patient and try and try and try until you get the hang of it ..... and know how to avoid disconnecting situations.

that i find also very interesting and that have some cordenates for you to play with.

Step 1.

Click on Game Play tab , Under Game Settings you'll see Auto Kill , with 2 category's under it , "Kill What Apears" and "True Autokill". Click the check boxs "Enable" and "Teleport" , then under True Autokill category , click the check box labeled "Enable" then in Delay type in "2000" delay.

Step 2.

Look at your favorite warping play(i.e Losttower7). Then find the top of the map , and the bottom cords , then find the left to right cords , write them down , then in the Min X put the left cord , then in the Max X put the right cord , in the Min Y put the top cord , in the Max Y put the bottom.

Step 3.

Under "Hit Count Settings" you'll see Hit Count then a field to put the hitcount you want , put that as 500 , and press Apply , then under Kill What Apears press Apply.

STARTING THE GAME IN DUPE MODE !


You will need:

1 - 2 computers able to run mu with mu installed
2 - Fast Reflex

The idea is to enter the same account with both computers at the same time.

Now this can be tricky .. i advise you to have both computer keyboards side by side. I have tryed using a keyboard dataswitch and it is mutch more dificult because switching keyboards is simple not fast enought also i DO NOT advise using terminal services or any kind of remote control program because is is also not fast enought.


lets continue....

After you have put the 2 computers side by side and have the 2 keyboards in front of you just connect mu normaly .... and stop in the username and password insertion screen.

insert the SAME username and Password in both computers.... then do a small pray and press enter at the same time.

3 things can happen now

1 - one computer logs into the account and the other says " account already connected"
2 - one computer logs into the account and the other stays in the trying to connect screen and the connect bar just keeps going from the beginning to the end.
3 - both computers log into the acount.


if you got 3 .. your halfway there...


The above situation is hard for a guy trying to dupe for the first time because the timing must be perfect i tryed like 50 times before i could get it right so dont dispair just keep trying. For those that like to look geek, you can do what i have done i arranged a small aluminium rod and bend it so it could toutch both enters of both keyboards at the same time .... ( one hand is always faster than the other ). now i can do it on the first try.



now AFTER you logon with the same account you can use several methods to dupe jewels and stuff.


METHOD 1 & 2

i personally like 2 methods, one is fast and dangerous the other is slow and easy.


METHOD 1 ( slow and easy )

1 - Create 2 characters Char1 and Char2
2 - Connect with char1 on one computer and with char2 on other computer
3 - Go to lorencia ( has to banks )
4 - send char1 to the left back
5 - send char2 to the right bank
( By sending them to diferent banks you avoid confusions )
6 - with char1 open the bank
7 - with char2 open the bank
8 - with char1 take the items you want to dupe from the bank
9 - leave the char2 looking at the bank the all process doing nothing
10 - after char1 taken all items from the bank open and close the bank with char2
( this is just a security check to see if items still in bank )


after you taken all the items with char 1 you will see that char 1 has the items on the inventory, but O MY GOD .. you still have the items on the bank... DUPE IS DONE.

Now a very important thing ... you should only dupe gems and u must use them right away. DO NOT TRADE THEM. if yoou have leftovers just go to the blacksmith and sell them. you see..

there is no original and copy from the moment you dupe you have 2 copys of the same item.. if you dont use it right away or if you trade them .. you have the risk that someone will store it on his/her vault... and your gem/item will be compromized, because tehre will be another copy of it in the game ... eventuall webzen do cleanups and u will LOSE YOUR ITEM ..


Now ... the second method is faster..

METHOD 2 ( fast and dangerous )

This methos is faster if you have like 20 chaos and 30 gems to dupe, you will soon realize that you will get crazy changing stuff from the banlk to the inventary.... to many mouse clicks ... hehehe

you can dupe inventary items thous not using the bank..


you must connect with the same character ( char1) in both computers instead of diferent characters. obvious when you check the inventary on both computers you will see the same items... you can use all items ( jewels and chaos ) on one char and leave the other untoutched... after u have used them all just switch char BUT WARNING...


first press switch character in the empty inventory char1 .... and ONLY THEM press switch char on the full inventory char2...

there is one catch ... you will have to pass the result of your duping to someone else because what you are really doing is backtraking ..... saving the game or in this case loading the game.

after you have done that just enter in the game with the same char in both computers again and you will still have both icons in both chars.. and ready to dupe more ...

PRELOGUE - SECURITY ISSUES

Never forget you are using someone else program, so in spite of the cheat working or not you should always have 2 passwords one u use to connect to the game and another u use when you go offline.

So before enabling mupppie you should change your password to the “online password”
And when you finish playing you should change to your safe password.
This wont prevent keyloggers but most of them are antivirus detected so no worrys there ( not mutch anyways ) but proxy servers can send you info not only to the muserver but also to the cheat creator server.

So warnings said …. Lets go on…

1 - Create a directory named gameguardold inside your gameguard directory.
2 – Uncompress and copy the old gameguard files to gameguardold
3 – Place the batch file (.bat) included in the zip on your desktop
4 – Uncompress and place the mu minimizer directory in your desktop.
5 - Uncompress and place in your desktop muppie rc1 beta release

CHAPTER 2 – UNDERSTANDING MUPPIE


You should never use a cheat without knowing the basics of the game/cheat so so you
noobs can understand basically the cheat is a “man in the middle “ software.

That simulates a proxy on your own machine, that intercepts all communication between the webzen server and your computer, modifying information according to your needs.

Imagine that when you attack a npc that the command “ATCK” is sent to the server

If you have mupie working, the “ATCK” is sent first to MUPPIE and MUPPIE before relaying the command to the server adds a few more “ATCK” making you hit the npc more times.

Ideally you could setup a machine on the internet that whould proxy and provide a standard cheat for everyone to use. But that’s not up to me.

I've tested last Mupieminimizer and Mupie and figure out that if you just run and not start that programs you'll get that lamme msg too: "hack detected bla bla bla..." So how can muonline detect you're running a program to hack if you not started it ?! Simple, I think that GameGuard (or even main.exe itself) test this Variable Names in your Proccess List: "MupieWinMu.exe" and "MuPie X.exe" (CTRL+ALT+DEL -> SECOND TAB) that's the only reasonable explanation I see. Ahh! That could be the reason that Mupie and Mupieminimizer are not working anymore ! Think about it... hope I've helped !

i made by testing a bat file, that copys those old files:

4. mpgg9x.des

6. npgmup.des.new

9. npsc.erl
------------------------------

I run this .bat file when the nprotect closes his window in the edge of the screen second time.

And thats all..
No problems running MuPieX

And here are my old nprotect files(only those 9 files):

omg i did what u said to do i saved as and it said it was downloading a rar file but when it finished it was a word file with a whole bunch of gibberish

1 hit hack and dupe does not exist on MU Gobal anymore.The speed hack is the only hack working on Gobal

STARTING THE GAME IN DUPE MODE !


You will need:

1 - 2 computers able to run mu with mu installed
2 - Fast Reflex

The idea is to enter the same account with both computers at the same time.

Now this can be tricky .. i advise you to have both computer keyboards side by side. I have tryed using a keyboard dataswitch and it is mutch more dificult because switching keyboards is simple not fast enought also i DO NOT advise using terminal services or any kind of remote control program because is is also not fast enought.


lets continue....

After you have put the 2 computers side by side and have the 2 keyboards in front of you just connect mu normaly .... and stop in the username and password insertion screen.

insert the SAME username and Password in both computers.... then do a small pray and press enter at the same time.

3 things can happen now

1 - one computer logs into the account and the other says " account already connected"
2 - one computer logs into the account and the other stays in the trying to connect screen and the connect bar just keeps going from the beginning to the end.
3 - both computers log into the acount.


if you got 3 .. your halfway there...


The above situation is hard for a guy trying to dupe for the first time because the timing must be perfect i tryed like 50 times before i could get it right so dont dispair just keep trying. For those that like to look geek, you can do what i have done i arranged a small aluminium rod and bend it so it could toutch both enters of both keyboards at the same time .... ( one hand is always faster than the other ). now i can do it on the first try.



now AFTER you logon with the same account you can use several methods to dupe jewels and stuff.


METHOD 1 & 2

i personally like 2 methods, one is fast and dangerous the other is slow and easy.


METHOD 1 ( slow and easy )

1 - Create 2 characters Char1 and Char2
2 - Connect with char1 on one computer and with char2 on other computer
3 - Go to lorencia ( has to banks )
4 - send char1 to the left back
5 - send char2 to the right bank
( By sending them to diferent banks you avoid confusions )
6 - with char1 open the bank
7 - with char2 open the bank
8 - with char1 take the items you want to dupe from the bank
9 - leave the char2 looking at the bank the all process doing nothing
10 - after char1 taken all items from the bank open and close the bank with char2
( this is just a security check to see if items still in bank )


after you taken all the items with char 1 you will see that char 1 has the items on the inventory, but O MY GOD .. you still have the items on the bank... DUPE IS DONE.

Now a very important thing ... you should only dupe gems and u must use them right away. DO NOT TRADE THEM. if yoou have leftovers just go to the blacksmith and sell them. you see..

there is no original and copy from the moment you dupe you have 2 copys of the same item.. if you dont use it right away or if you trade them .. you have the risk that someone will store it on his/her vault... and your gem/item will be compromized, because tehre will be another copy of it in the game ... eventuall webzen do cleanups and u will LOSE YOUR ITEM ..

I don't think so, I tried with 2 keybords and I got a 4th alternative (that wasn't mentioned above). Please see attached file. The message says "Connection was closed due to 3 failed initatives"

Seems like Webzen fixed this little thingy...Any1 who still can do this?
